The Cardinal House was perfect for us to reconnect for golf and conversation. Great outdoor spaces to gather and the sleeping accommodations were perfect. Hosts were accessible and very helpful if there was anything we needed. We loved this place!

The days we spend at The Cardinal House are ones which will FONDLY be remembered by ALL thanks to our gracious hosts, the beautiful home & garden area, most of all the feeling of “ being at home”.
We shared 3 nights / 4 days , played golf, enjoyed the spa, several great places to shop, & enjoy a bite all within walking distance. We hope very much to return again, in the fall and would HIGHLY recommend a visit to anyone looking for perfect spot within The Village of Pinehurst. huge, beautiful back yard! owners have instructions posted for any questions that arise and are there to help as needed right away - i had missed some information already shared and sent a text and was answered in minutes, then i realized the information was right in front of me already! plenty of space for sleeping and layout perfect for famliies or friends joining.

The house was in a great location. There were lots of beds and the outdoor space was great. The house was a bit outdated and it was a bit uncomfortable that the backyard was shared with the owners house. That being said - the owner was lovely and very helpful with tips about the area

A perfect property for our group of 9 golfers. Just the right size, with a good configuration of living space and beds. Highly recommended. We’re fortunate to take many golf trips, always staying in houses, with this house enabling another fantastic experience.

We had 8 adults (4 couples) and had a great time. The home is in a great location - close to everything and yet quiet. We loved Pinehurst. The men played gold and the women went to the cute town. We relaxed, played games and enjoyed being together.

Walked in to the village and had some great meals. We had our dog with us and she was welcomed by the property owners. The backyard is shared and is beautifully maintained. We had fresh veggies from the garden and fresh flowers on arrival. Lots of beds for larger groups.

Our family was in town for a wedding. We are not golfers so Pinehurst wasn't the best location for us. But we enjoyed our stay at the Cardinal house. There was plenty of room for all of us and it was a cool haven for some very hot days!

Great location. Walkable to town. Beautiful backyard. Fully equipped kitchen. Tons of beds. Wish house had Netflix or some sort of streaming service. Make sure to bring bug spray (lots of bugs in backyard, likely because of all the recent rain). Lovely neighborhood area. Enjoyed golf & Pinehurst Spa (luxurious).

Property was clean and as described in the listing. We loved the pool table, dartboard, and the hot tub. Everyone was comfortable in their rooms. Plenty of common area to relax. Overall we were very happy and the owner made everything really easy.

My family enjoyed our stay at the Cardinal House! It was casual and comfortable. The host was gracious to combine single beds to make three kings to accommodate three couples. The yard and outdoor space was AMAZING! We used the grill to have a cookout with extended family and there was plenty of room for all to enjoy both inside and out. We enjoyed several walks to the Village center as well as Camelot Playground so the house is very convenient. We hope to stay at the Cardinal House again!

Women's Open getaway
There were 7 of us and we could have easily fit 5 more. The house was great - plenty of room to spread out or be together. All instructions were extremely clear. So close to the Village that we walked in several times. Would definitely look into this house if we ever have another adventure.

House was perfect for our needs.
Our family decided to get together, for Christmas, in Pinehurst this year. My parents usually travel to the home of one of their three children, out of town. They live in Aberdeen. Sadly my mother went into the hospital before Christmas. Susan allowed us to get into the house early, before our scheduled stay. It became our homebase for traveling to and from the hospital, and getting together for Christmas. The home was perfect for our families needs. There was plenty of space for sleeping, eating or just enjoying the back yard.

Great location, Friendly Owners
This was a great spot to stay. We loved the garden, large clean hot tub, putt putt, giant fire pit (best I have ever seen!). The home was very comfortable and very clean with lot’s of bedding options. The owners were very friendly and we enjoyed talking to them. They gave us a great restaurant recommendation for take out and even built our fire for the fire pit! The neighborhood is great for walking and the school has a fabulous playground with fields and basketball too. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed at Cardinal House while in Pinehurst for a family wedding. Everything about the weekend was great. The house had all the amenities we needed-enough beds for the family and a wonderful yard to spend a lazy afternoon in. And Susan is a warm and welcoming host!!

Love the location of this property in relation to the Pinehurst Resort! Thoroughly enjoyed the roominess and cleanliness of this property and the hosts were fantastic! The game room was a definite added bonus that my kids enjoyed!
