The property is very small. Only had ceiling lights (no lamps, not even in the bedroom). No table at which to eat a meal. Major problem with the sewage system. A strong sewage odor in the bathroom that permeated the entire site. Maintenance person tried to remedy the problem, but was unsuccessful. He did manage to move us to another unit, which was very nice. We appreciated him doing this.

My husband, my grandson and my self stayed for a short getaway with our dog. We picked this vrbo because of its great location to the beach and the dog beach. It is very small and until my grandson arrived it was fine for the 2 of us, but with a 3 year old running around it was a bit crowded. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved It! Great little get away.

This little house was perfect for us and our 2 small dogs. It's small but very comfy. We enjoyed the fire pit and yard and the short walk to the beach was ideal for us.

Not the best experience! Have an issue no one answers after 5pm. No table to eat on, trouble with lock no one would answer after 5pm. Asked for a refund never received a call back

My husband and I just wanted a quick getaway walking distance to the beach. This place is absolutely perfect. It is walking distance to everything. You honestly don’t need a car the entire time you’re here. The yard was perfect for our doggo Rosie and the place is walking distance to the beach which was incredible. We had the best time and would highly recommend this place.

Bar b que loaded with grease so burned up steaks . T V went in and out + we couldn't get local channels . Oven wouldn't lite . Left 1 day early . Notified La Jolla rental of problems got no response . Very dissatisfied!

We spent most of our time at the dog beach with our pup and the location was perfect for going back and forth. The little yard made for a perfect landing for all our beach stuff and the little fire pit was nice to relax by at night. Perfect for a couple or a couple and a dog!

The place was small ... but cozy

This place is very cute and cozy!! Had a mix up with pet fees and management addressed it quickly and made it right. With no hassle. I’ll 100% be back for another get away here. Everything was great

The location for this unit was ideal as it was within a quick block of the beaches. They do advertise the unit being "charming", so just note the overall size is pretty tight if more than a couple wishes to rent this. The yard in front of the unit is roomy, if you have a pet. We did have issues with the cleanliness inside the unit as there was a lot of pet hair on the sofa, bed spread and curtains. We also experienced unreliable Wifi/Cable with sporadic outages during our stay. Overall, it is a great location for a quick visit to the beaches.

Although small, it had everything we needed. The yard was great for the dog. The dog park was great and only a short walk away. Quiet neighborhood. Not much direct sun in the yard due to time of year and position of house.

This is a great little place. Yes, I know it is small. But, they tell you that up front. It is as advertised. But, how they have it set up is very clever and spacious. It is very close to the beach/dog beach. I literally just parked my truck for three days, and we walked everywhere. It was the perfect location for what we needed it for. I would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

The house was so close to the beach the breeze coming in the windows was refreshing. It was a great location to Newport Ave as well. We had a great time. We will consider staying here again!

The bath is poorly designed, not even a place to put your toothbrush. Felt very cluster phobic. Since it’s a company that actually owns the place, they will wear you out with requirements and emails.

Property is okay for a weekend. Bedroom too, small to get dressed in. Kitchen has no place to put groceries. Cable only works occasionally. Futon couch very uncomfortable and the ONLY place to sit. No room for table and chairs. Shower was great! Not worth the money. We had booked for 21 days and left 4 days early.

The place was fine, as the location. I can’t give this place a good review because of the parking situation. The description says “street parking.” Since the unit is close to the beach, the street is used for beach parking. When we arrived, we had to park two blocks away. I am disabled, and I had to carry my belongings that far, and we had the baby granddaughter. which made the walk very difficult. The path to the back house was dark at night, so I couldn’t see the step down and nearly fell. Our stay was during a heatwave, so the fact there was no air-conditioning was agony and make it difficult to sleep. I would never stay there again.

This was a last minute booking Because my original reservation with vrbo was cancelled. It was in a different area because my location was no longer within our budget. This house was small tv and Internet was spotty and when you call the Maintenance all he can do is call the people in the front house wait for them to get home and ask them to restart the modem and then they’re supposed to call you back which doesn’t ever happen so you spent 20 minutes trying to figure out if the modems been reset and you can watch tv or use Internet l. Thursday our day was spent listening to tree trimmers that were apparently schedule during our stay to come and cut down trees from 7:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon that also was not enjoyable. The bathroom door not being able to open but maybe half way because it hit the bed. No doors for bedroom. Ants and flies as far as you could see. Extremely small and hot. Would not recommend. Company still has not refunded my first stay. Not happy at all will prob never use again or recommend. When my reservation was cancelled no one even helped me rebook was told others in front of me

Great location in Ocean Beach. If you are there on Wednesday afternoon make sure you go to the farmer's market just a few blocks away.
