This was our favorite spot on our Maui vacation. The property is peaceful, but also a great location for walking and getting in beach time. The 2 bedroom was perfect for 2 couples, and the SUPs and surfboards were a big plus.

This place is amazing. Came with 4 people and enough space for everyone. Walking distance to such amazing places.

We loved our stay at the Villas by the Cove. The villa was super clean and the grounds were so beautifully maintained. It felt like we were in paradise! The property manager was helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Perfect location in Kihei.

Property was better than expected. Very comfortable, clean and current design and styling. A coworker and I stayed here while working on the island. I hope to stay here again when we return to do more business. I also plan on returning with my family. Thank you

The Villa had great access to the beach and was very nice. I loved the decor and finishes. It was perfect for our family of four. The manager was readily available and helpful. The grounds were pleasant but road noise was unpleasant sitting at the pool. Nice to have beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and other beach toys. Overall a gem of a property. We want to return!

We have stayed in Kihei many times, but never even knew this little street existed. The property itself is tucked away in a private feeling, gated compound that is so beautifully landscaped and has incredible sunset views right from the pool. The only negatives would be that there is some traffic noise, but honestly it didn't bother any of us, and you can't hear anything from inside. The only other negative was that there is only one washing machine and one dryer - which is a bit of a drag when you don't want to wait around at the property for others to remember to take their washing out. Again, we were fine, not a big deal, and wouldn't keep us from booking again in a heart beat.

My wife and I, and another couple stayed here in late April. We loved staying here. Great location. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Right across the street from the ocean with a popular beach next door. The condo has everything we needed for our week stay. The pool was right out our front door. There was also a grill under the pavilion which we used once. There are surf boards and paddle boards for the comped to use, although we didn’t have a chance to try them out. The one negative, and it’s really not a big deal is there is a bit of road noise. Honestly I heard it a few times but pretty much it never impacted our enjoyment. We would totally recommend staying here.

the villa is just what we wanted. small. nice view. great patio/pool area. the kitchen was well equipped but needed more plates and some large bowls. the beach just across the road was a party cove with some homeless it seemed but just to the left (5 minute walk) was a GREAT beach (it’s gated place so no worries about safety). there were beach chairs and boogie boards etc which was nice! we walked to a number of restaurants. kihei caffe had an awesome breakfast - went twice!

Good experience. Manager was very nice, helpful and accommodating. Enjoyed the pool and covered area. Room was well set up and impressed by the high- quality of kitchen . Liked that parking was secure. A little disappointed that pictures indicate beach is closer than it actually than it is. Thank you!

Everything about Villas By The Cove was awesome. Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Maui. The location was perfect. The property manager was great during our stay and the reservation person always responded to any questions i had before the trip. Would definitely stay at this location for future vacations to Maui!

This was a nice, small complex of individual villas. It’s across the street from the beach. Everything you need is provided. Very clean. The manager is around and very helpful.

Over the years we have vacationed multiple times in Kihei but our first at Villas by the Cove. We stayed a full two weeks in Unit 7, it was home away from home. We could check the surf report through the kitchen window and blended up some breakfast, as we languished in the spacious one bedroom. The Villa had all the amenities, from umbrella & chairs to paddle board, laundry facilities, and front gate remote (secure parking). There were some upgrades taking place during our stay and everybody we encountered was super pleasant/friendly - it did not inconvenience us one bit. The manager and owner were/are fantastic! Wishing we were still there!

Great location and within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. You can walk to a great paddle board area, as well as snorkeling. We loved the unit and will be back.

This is the perfect location for people who want to spend the majority of their time in the ocean. There is paddle boarding, snorkeling and boogie boarding all within a block from the condo with all the equipment available in the unit. There is also a beautiful private beach right across the street. The unit itself was comfortable with a new well stocked kitchen. We were shown one of the newly renovated units, which is beautifully decorated with an excellent use of space. All of the condos will be redone in the near future. We found ourselves in the midst of loud demolition work and were compensated fairly by the owner for the inconvenience. Gal was a wonderful host, checking in with us regularly. We told him many times that he will see us again.

Location! Location! Location! This little Villa is perfect in every way. We had a great time.

Very nice accommodations. Lots of items to use at the beach came in handy. Would recommend adding a colander to the kitchen items as well as pot holders.

Although simply furnished, we found this VRBO perfect for our one-week stay on Maui. The property is very well kept, and many features such as kitchen appliances appeared to be quite new. The owner showed us another unit that he has been updating even more (quite attractive) and says all units will be like this one soon. We found there to be quite a bit of traffic noise on Kihei Road which is behind this complex, but the owner showed us in the renovated unit how he is putting extra thick window panes that really work to cancel out most of the noise. The complex is right across the street from the beach and walkable to many of the restaurant and shopping attractions of Kihei. The owner and all of his employees were most friendly and helpful, even offering to help us with their surf boards if desired. We thought it was a good value compared to other options we explored and enjoyed our stay. We would return if we get back to Maui.

This lovely little complex enjoys water views and stunning sunsets every night, just steps from popular Cove Beach Park. Kihei's restaurants, shops, outdoor markets, and grocery stores are either walking distance or a short drive away, making it easy to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Management is responsive and also liaises with an excellent concierge service, free of charge, which definitely made our trip more enjoyable by offering detailed recommendations and providing great rates for services and activities during our stay.

This unit met or exceeded all my expectations. It was spotlessly clean and well stocked. Loved the a/c for sleeping at night. Street noise didn't bother me at all, but then I was up by 6 every morning. The location can't be beat if you like surfing or SUP-ing at Kihei Cove / Kamala Beach Park. Chelsea was extremely responsive and helpful during the booking process and throughout my stay.

Our vacation to Maui could not have been better, and our stay in Villa 7 at Villas By The Cove was the perfect choice. We were on Maui for several weeks to visit family and enjoy the island, and we decided that an independent rental would be the best option, as we value privacy and like to cook our own meals. Villas By The Cove looked like a good fit for us, and we were excited about our stay. When we got there, the villa and property location exceeded our expectations. The interior of the villa was beautiful - impeccably clean, with a simple yet elegant feel. It was appointed with everything we needed for cooking gourmet family meals. We could relax with plenty of entertainment (TV, awesome high speed WIFI), we had lots of room inside and on the ocean view patio to entertain family, and we really enjoyed the incredibly comfy sleeping arrangements. The property was so convenient to EVERYTHING, yet very quiet and peaceful. We only had to walk across the street to a beautiful beach where we went swimming every day. Stores, shopping and more and more amazing beaches were a quick walk. Plus, the owner and property manager had thought of everything... They provided such awesome beach gear, the villa was decked out with everything we could think of ever needing, and they offered tons of awesome insider information in our check-in binder that we found super useful. The other travelers staying in other villas on the property were so nice, and the entire place had a laid-back, clean and polished 'beach-chic' look and feel. It seemed like a lot of the villas had recently been renovated (ours had!) and the owner was very attentive to keeping the property impeccably clean with gorgeous landscaping. The booking and arrival process was seamless - could not have been easier - and the entire time we felt like the super nice and professional property manager was there for anything we needed, yet very conscious and respectful of privacy. As independent types who prefer private, clean, simple, easy, and nice, we usually stay in condos and vacation rentals when we travel. Everyone in our party agrees that this was hands down the best vacation rental experience we have ever had. We will recommend Villas By The Cove to everyone we know, and we plan to stay here every year when we come to visit our family on Maui. Thank you Chelsea for an amazing time - our stay in Villa 7 truly made our Maui vacation perfect in every way!

It's a nice place near a beginner's surf and paddle board spot. Very convenient if you're doing a surf lesson! I'd recommend Villa 5 or 6 if you like sleeping in past 0600. Villa 7 is adjacent to one of the main thoroughfares in Kihei - making road noise an issue early morning. At night there seemed to be little traffic. Cafe O' Lei and Kihei Caffe are both a short walk and are the best spots for lunch and breakfast respectively. Would stay here again, but likely in Villa 5 or 6 that are closer to the beach / farther away from the busier S Kihei Rd.

This was our first time to Maui (but not our last). In fact we have vacationed in many U.S and Caribbean locations, staying only once at each property. But this is the place we are most likely to return to again and again. Villa #7 was perfect for us; everything you need to spend some time there, we stayed for 11 nights. Ralph was a great host. He sent us a number of documents before we arrived that outlined the property and surrounding areas. He was always responsive to our emails. We could not have asked for anything more!
