We rented the house for almost two weeks in July. We were a group of nine, and the layout of the house worked out very well for us. It is a split floor plan, with a master bedroom and bath on one side. There is a "nook" with a bed within the master, wich would be good for a baby or smaller child. We just used this room as a closet. The other side of the house has three bedrooms and one bathroom. One room with two single beds, one queen, and one with three singles (one is a pull-out). This makes the house very flexible for larger groups. The outdoor and pool area was excellent, with a screen preventing bugs and debris from coming in. In the garage there are many beach-chairs, and some other equipment. I guess this varies a bit over time, as guests leave stuff and other things wear out. Very nice to find, anyhow. Kitchen is very well stocked, with an additional small fridge in the garage. Only thing we missed was a bigger pot when cooking pasta for nine :-) Washer and dryer was also great to have, when staying for a longer time. The location is excellent for a relaxing vacation. You can walk to the beach in five mins. To grocery-shopping and restaurants there is a 7-8 mins drive. There is also a small but pretty natural preserve under five minutes drive from the house, we had many early evening strolls through the Manasota Scrub, and got to see many small animals, like turtles. We did not have any issues during our stay, and can absolutely recommend this house to others!

This house is great! It is a short walk to the beach, close to many of the area beaches, restaurants and shops. The kitchen is very well stocked, bedrooms spacious, private pool/patio area is an added bonus with an outdoor shower. The owners communicate back quickly and are very helpful and friendly. Great vacation house!

The house and the owners were wonderful! Very short trip to the beach with amazing water and sharks teeth everywhere. The owners were very prompt with anything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Very accommodating owner. We had fire alarm beeping with low battery and he came and replaced all the batteries immediately. He also stopped by the first day to find out if we found everything ok. Which it was. This place is like a home away from home. Exceptional clean, right down from the beach, pool in the backyard, plenty of space for our party of 9 and everything you would need for a day at the beach. This house has everything. Definitely a house we would love to stay in again.

We loved being a minute drive from the beach and the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool every day! Really lovely home with plenty of space to enjoy a week in Florida!

It was really hard to leave this amazing property and place to visit! The quick walk to the beach helped ease family communication amongst our group and so many other beaches to try near by. We found many cool shells and sharks teeth. Heidi was a great host and helped us with what we needed. It had everything we needed as far as beach chairs and towels and all the kitchen needs. The outdoor enclosed patio and pool was our favorite place to gather.

Perfect location to grandpa’s house and beach. Very comfortable to fit us all, and clean. Enjoyed the pool.

Short walk to the. Beach on Manasota Key, and they provided beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and a wagon to take them in. House was exceptionally well equipped with tons of dishes and silverware and all kinds of extras (immersion blender, cheese grater, etc). They even provided blue ice for the small cooler they also provided, which was great for the beach. House is set up very well for a group. I would definitely stay here again

This house is in a great location. It is very close to Manasota Beach. House is nice, pool great. Overall a great place.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach! The house was beautiful and perfect for our family. We're hoping to come back some day!

Stayed at this amazing villa vacation house for 2 weeks with my family (my wife & I, son 17, daughter 12, daughter 3, plus mom and older sister. We all had lots of room and everyone had their own bed (total of 4 bedrooms/ 6 beds …not counting a separate bedroom with small bed which we used as our changing room). Everything about this wonderful house is perfect: beautiful yard with shade trees, grass, swing, cute lizards, screened saltwater pool, huge patio, outside shower, garage, quiet and safe neighborhood. The best part is it is only a 2 minute walk to the bridge over lemon bay and 7 minute walk to the waves on the beautiful nature preserve beach (no commercial buildings! Absolutely a dream house which allowed for a dream vacation. We hope this property will still be offered in 2 years because we will definitely return! Thanks a million, we love your home ❤️

We loved our stay at this property. So close to Manasota Beach and Venice FL. The pool is great and enjoys an extended deck with shade and direct sun. All round an awesome stay - many thanks!

AMAZING HOUSE! AMAZING OWNERS! At first we were like dang this is so far from where we live we may go somewhere closer next year! But, then we actually got to the house and met the owners! The house was perfect! The owners were SO nice and made sure we were settled and happy! Beach by the house is great but there are so many different beaches within 30-40 minutes so we went beach hopping and even found a lighthouse! GREAT FAMILY VACATION!

This property is one of a kind. I would recommend this property to anyone very close to the beach, the pool and outside lounge area is amazing. Grill and all cooking utensils are available. Garage parking can fit 2 vehicles in. Built in vacuum in the garage to clean vehicles. Will definitely plan to stay here again!

I and the grandkids could walk to the beach and save on sand in the vehicle! The home is spotless and has a beautiful pool the kids loved!
