This property is one of the old-fashioned duplexes that used to populate LBI prior to all of the new, fancy & much more expensive properties. It is very basic - 3BRs, 1 BA in each unit. Old, brown paneling on the walls. Linoleum on the floors. But clean, has an outdoor shower, and both units have decks to sit on. The owner was very responsive when a minor issue came up with the hot water. The house is a short walk to the bay beach, more of a hike to the ocean beach, but not bad if you have a wagon to haul your beach chairs & kids! The upstairs dishwasher was next to useless and the stove/oven upstairs was quite old, but for what we needed - which was space to house our family at reasonable price, we didn't mind sacrificing a bit of the luxuries. All in all, we would stay there again, especially since the owners were so helpful, even when we left an iphone behind!

This rental was just right for our family of 6. There is ample space for everyone. Our boys loved the bunkbeds and area to play in the back. We could eat inside or outside and enjoyed relaxing on the porch. The location is perfect for walking or riding to places to eat, the beach or the bay. There was also a nice sized TV to watch college football. We hope to return again.
