Property was well appointed with everything neede fir a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was great as we cooked meals at the property. The bathrooms were situated at udeal locations. The room on the second floor with the futon was declared the man cave by the children. The common spaces allowed for comfortable relaxation when needed. There was access to three seperate outdoor spaces and we made use of them all. The location of the property was ideal for easy access to beaches, the Neck and the Headlands. We would certainly look at using this property again if visiting Rockport with family.

We are familiar with Cape Ann and have stayed at a home in Gloucester few times. This time we decided to stay in Rockport. This carriage house was perfect for us. There were six of us but seven would have fit fine as well. The location is perfect for walking to all the shops, restaurants and two nearby beaches. Our favorite beach is Wingaersheek though so we drove there. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved both outdoor seating areas. The flowers in the yard are just gorgeous!

Rockport is an absolute gem and this house is perfect for a weeklong stay!

We have stayed at this property many times and it never disappoints. It is well maintained and spotless. The locations is ideal and close to all the shops and restaurants. It is a short walk to Back Beach too. The property offers plenty of space to relax both indoors and out. I guess the best thing to say about it is that we have already booked it again for next summer!

We loved this get-away home. It has everything anyone would need. Great for a family or group of adults. Near the water and walking to restaurants and shops.

The photos didn’t do this property justice. It was absolutely beautiful and clean home and right literally across the street from the ocean. Would absolutely stay there again. The only trouble we had was the dryer wasn’t cooperating. Very clear directions were given for everything we needed within the home as well for the neighborhood.

This is a superb property that has been remodeled and updated and is very comfortable. Another significant, positive feature is the proximity to the center of Rockport. Bearskin Neck, Brothers Brew, the Shalin Liu, restaurants and beaches are all within a walk of less than 5 minutes. Parking is accommodated well on-site -- that is a huge plus in Rockport! Our stay enhanced by the timely, friendly and helpful responses from Jonathan to a couple of questions. Highly recommend this property!

Spent a long weekend to attend a family wedding. We had 6 adults and a 1 year old. The house was ideal for our large group and in the perfect location. We loved Rockport and the surrounding area. The owners were a pleasure to deal with as well. Would definitely stay here again!

The location of this property is ideal. Close to Bearskin Neck and a few minutes walk from Front Beach. The house is clean and well maintained. We will be back next summer.

The home is so comfortable. The location is perfect. The hospitality of the host was perfect, they communicated well. We will be staying there again and again.

We couldn't have asked for a better location and accommodations. The owners were attentive and responded to a couple questions we had when we arrived. The home was well-appointed and very comfortable. The landscaping and outside seating options were wonderful. After walking back from meals in town we spent several evenings sitting in the backyard just enjoying the mild evenings and beautiful surroundings. The location of this historic homesite is perfect— just close enough to the harbor, various shops, and restaurants in the heart of Rockport but back enough to not have traffic (traffic is a relative term in Rockport :) It's also situated at the base of a beautiful old neighborhood that was great for walks. It was also very easy from this location to get around the region. We visited Essex for the antiques, popular seafood stops and ice cream shops, great dining options in Gloucester, golf at Cape Ann GC, as well as beautiful Crane Beach and historic Ipswich. We made our way back and forth to the Boston/ Cambridge area for gallery and museum visits fairly easily as well (less than an hours' drive if you time traffic right).

If you want a special place to stay, you really don't have to look further. This home offers everything... just steps to the quaint downtown area of Rockport, a quick easy walk to a gorgeous view to watch the activity of boats coming in and out of the harbor and as a painting group (as we were) so many spots to take out our easels to capture the beauty Rockport has to offer. The home itself is completed with everything you need for cooking, cleaning and comfort. Jonathan always answered my emails in a timely manor. He offered detailed information to all our questions, making our stay comfortable. What a delight! This is truly "a find" and if I have the pleasure to come back to Rockport this is the place to "hang my hat"!!! Susan Turcotte

We were here as a family for my sons wedding on Halloween in Salem. It was close enough for easy access into Salem but far enough to be out of the maddening crowd! We enjoyed the town of Rockport. The house was great and everything needed was there.
