We were so happy with the house and location. Our trip to the finger lakes had several towns we were going to see and the location of the property was ideal. The owners were a delight to deal with and even left cookies and peach bread for us. The house was clean, had all the essentials and was right near Seneca Lake. Lots of wildlife too.

This home was very relaxing and super quiet. Everything was as advertised, and everything was very clean. This was a perfect spot in the middle of all the wineries.

We had an awesome time!! Location of home was perfect for visiting wineries, enjoying views.
Property owners were great with information of some spots to see, plus communication was super. Answered questions and made recommendations.
Would definitely rent from them again!! House was spotless, beds we’re comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the 3 season porch.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the cookies that were left for us by the hostess. It is situated in the heart of the Finger Lakes. We spent every morning in the sun porch enjoying our tea and the view. A deer even visited us one morning. If you are looking for the ideal place, this is it.

This home was very clean upon our arrival. My guests and I were awed by this house from the time we pulled in to the time we left. Jo was very nice and accommodating through out our stay.The home is very private. The sunroom was a joy to hang out in. We only stayed for a short time, but we will be back. 6 stars for this home.

We arrived on Friday for the Deck the Halls event. It is always a great time and we are so happy it is back! Booking was super easy as was the communication with Jo. Check in was seamless, the property was exactly as described and super clean. She even messaged me to let me know we could arrive a bit early, which was great! The location is perfect as 2 of my favorite wineries are Miles and Glenora, so we were in close proximity. We also were greeted with the iconic grape pie! I cannot say enough great things about this property and hosts. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in the Finger Lakes last summer on the east side of Seneca Lake with our kids. It was a great vacation that they still talk about. In August, we decided to take a trip to Finger Lakes to see the fall colors with other family members on the west side of Seneca Lake. I found this home in Himrod and it did not disappoint. It was perfectly located on the Seneca Lake West Wine Trail and near the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. The pictures are exactly how the home looked. The owners left us snacks and a grape pie (a first for us and absolutely delicious). We tried to go to the bakery where it was bought, but it was so crowded we could not find a parking space. It was the perfect getaway. Thank you Jo and Tom for sharing your home so that others can make wonderful memories.

Rooms were large, clean and nicely furnished. Comfortable & homey feel.
Great location on west side of lake. Midway between Watkins Glenn and Geneva .
Host was super nice to interact with.

Location was awesome and very quiet. The house was extremely clean. The owners thought of everything to make your stay pleasant. The owners are very helpful, friendly, and close by if needed. I will definitely stay here again. My family loved it.

We had a lovely time and the house was perfect, clean and comfortable. The host Jo made us feel very welcomed, was very hospitable and always available to answer any questions. The property was In close proximity to all of the wineries and breweries in Seneca Lake and very easy to get to. We will definitely be back!

This is a quaint three bedroom home setback from the road, surrounded by evergreens. Everything you need is in the house just bring food, drink and fun things to do. The owners even had a bottle of wine waiting for us. The house is well equipped with dinnerware,condiments, pots and pans, spices, tissue paper, soap, everything you need.

This location was nice for adventuring about the finger lakes. The enclosed porch was very relaxing and great for late night boardgames!

The property was situated in a quiet location near Seneca Lake. It was spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well equipped. We particularly enjoyed watching the birds and other wildlife from the large deck. Nearby Sapata restaurant is ideal for special occasion meals. Hosts Jo and Tom werre always available to answer any questions.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely house. We found it very clean, comfortable, and convenient to wineries and Watkins Glen. The beds were comfy and the sun porch was delightful for morning coffee. We ate in a few evenings and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The property gave is a feeling of privacy and the grounds are well kept. Jo was very responsive and helpful and even left us some delicious desserts in the fridge. Thank you for being a home away from home and we will be back!

Great home at a perfect location
We loved the house! It is close to the lake and a 5 min drive from the wineries. The owner Jo had everything ready for us when we arrived. There were a lot of things in and around the house to keep the kids engaged too. A great place to spend quality time with family!

We loved this house! The house, location and host were great! The host was super sweet and left us some nice treats for our arrival. The house was spotless and located right in the mix of many wineries and breweries. I definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back!

Peaceful clean home
Fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, and a wonderful enclosed front porch. No water view but we found plenty of wineries with great views. We did play card games every night on the porch. A calm oasis.

Owner was very friendly and accommodating. House was very clean and met all our needs. Enjoyed relaxing in sunroom. Convenient to wineries, boat launch and Watkins Glen State Park. We did feel additional fees for cleaning and management were high, but don’t know what others in that area charge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jo and Tom’s place. The home is clean, easily accessible, private and comfortable. Our hosts could not have done more to make the stay memorable. Definitely recommend this rental to anyone.

A very nice clean house with all the convinces of home. Owners were very accommodating and helpful. The location worked well for us, as we have a big family gathering just down the road. The Lake is beautiful and lots of wineries. Shopping in Watkins Glen was a plus too!
