This place is lovely, quiet, and very comfortable. We had everything we needed while staying here. The stargazing and sound of the rushing river near the property is amazing. It's off the beaten path in the country. It is a scenic (under 1 hour) drive north to Yosemite south entrance. It's also a fun 1/2 day trip to hike Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Parks south of here. There are also other areas to hike close by and the owner was very helpful in directing us. Coming from busy Florida, this place was a great getaway!

AMAZING! please don't look any further and book this cottage! Every single detail has been taken care of.. the views are amazing, the cottage has everything anyone could need, and the owner is more than helpful!

Cottage was gorgeous inside and out, absolutely stunning views. Host thought of all the small details to make the stay easy/great, and was incredibly responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was great! Spacious, well maintained, clean and the bed was comfortable!
The grocery store a mile or so from the cottage was very lacking, but it wasn’t a bad drove to the grocery stores in Oakhurst to get what we needed.

This cottage is in a prime location with amazing views. The drive to Yosemite is fairly short and easy. We are nothing less than pleased with our experience in North Fork, CA!

We flew into SFO and opted to pick up the bulk of our groceries at Vons Grocery in Oakhurst. They have very good specials, a nice selection of everything, and their produce was fresh. The house is in a convenient location, about halfway between Yosemite and Sequoia National Park. It has views to die for, and Bob, an experienced and gracious owner/host, has thought of pretty much everything. We really appreciated having: a grill, washer/dryer, numerous outside sitting areas, an abundance of towels, a well-equipped kitchen, some starter supplies, and an immaculate place to rest. We can't wait to return!

This was a beautiful place to stay. It was comfortable, private, quiet and clean. The views of the hills and trees was very peaceful. We arrived very late at night, and I had a bit of a fall on the walkway, where it was dark (the walkway lights stay on until about midnight). Bob (the owner & host) was very helpful, accommodating and communicative. The property is located in North Fork, approximately 1hr & 45min from the Arch Rock/El Portal entrance to Yosemite National Park, and about 45 min from the South entrance at Mariposa Grove. The drives are very pretty and in October, it was not crowded at all.

If you want to detach yourself from the daily busy day-to-day life this is the place to go. Nice and secluded beautiful views and excellent host that helped the check in and check

This cottage is one of the best properties ever stayed in! Beautifully furnished, comfy bed, everything you would need is supplied - and a million dollar view from every window!! Bob was super to work with. It was a great place to come home to after a day in the park.

Our stay was absolutely PERFECT. The cabin is gorgeous. It has everything you need. We spent our stay cooking and enjoying the balcony, hiking Yosemite, and resting in the backyard.

Loved our stay in Bass Lake area. Bob is a great host and checked in to see if we had all we needed. We were close to Yosemite and went there a few times while we stayed at Bob's place! We will return some time in the future to see more sites.

Mountain Cottage
Fantastic stay at this fully loaded, modern, clean unit located close to North Fork. Beautiful views from this quiet and serene location. The cottage was a very pleasant place to stay at and the owner was very accommodating. Highly recommend it to others.

Loved our stay in Bass Lake area. Bob is a great host and checked in to see if we had all we needed. We were close to Yosemite and went there a few times while we stayed at Bob's place! We will return some time in the future to see more sites.

Could see all the stars and even some galaxies at night with the lights off. Only a 45 minute drive to yosemite. The bedroom was amazing, mountain views on all sides and you can fall asleep watching the stars. Internet was very fast, Netflix was available for movie nights and there was a grill and all the kitchen essentials for cooking at the property. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Robert was very nice, we met him the first day and he was extremely helpful and welcoming. We will be staying again in the future!

My husband and I stayed here for our Honeymoon. This was the perfect getaway, secluded, private, quiet, but still close to stores and everything we needed. The owner was very nice and helpful! The place was beautiful and the pictures do not do the house or the view from the deck justice! This was an amazing cabin and I plan to be back!

This property couldn't have been better. We spent 3 nights there and found it to be very homey and comfortable. We were able to have breakfast, pack lunches for the day and then return to this paradise to cook dinner and enjoy the view. If you talk with Bob, listen carefully because he has amazing knowledge of the area.

This property is awesome. We had such a wonderful time and the weather was perfect. The only issue we had was we couldnt get the log to burn in the fire pit! We would love to come back if we ever get back to California.

Great stay, fabulous views
We had a great stay - made good use of the firepit, loved the views, the house was spotlessly clean and very characterful. We also loved watching the humming birds and the quails - we even saw a bobcat early one morning. It was a pleasure meeting Bob who lives next door and is on hand if needed.
