The house met and exceeded all expectations. By far the best property we have ever stayed in on the island. The views are spectacular. Christina was very pleasant and easy to contact. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely rent again.

We rented this property with the sole purpose of relaxation. It didn’t disappoint! The pool has unrivaled views and we spent many days lounging and reading our books poolside. The great room was comfortable for our group of 3 couples and we spent most mornings and evenings relaxing in this area of the house. The artwork throughout the house is special and adds to the ambiance and sense of “home”. Christina was a top notch property manager and was always responsive and helpful when we had questions. We couldn’t have asked for better communication. The highlight of our trip (besides the pool) included delicious home style meals prepared (and delivered) by Chef Sonia Romero at Biekes Bistro and a chartered boat tour with Viequenese Charters. Notable restaurants include TinBox, Coqui Fire and El Quenepo; all places we will eat at again next year. My only recommendations to make the home more user friendly would be the addition of hooks and laundry baskets in the bathrooms. These are only minor “comfort” details and did not impact the quality of our stay. This property is worthy of a 5-star rating and we will likely never consider another property on the island. Looking forward to next year!

Beautiful, peaceful location, well-equipped for families, great property!

I have visited Vieques 6 times and I was very happy with the house. The view was outstanding! The pool area was wonderful! Our favorite area was the porch. What a wonderful outdoor area. The kitchen could use a few more items for those who love to cook. Mercedes, the manager was on the ball and did everything to make our stay perfect!

We were two families with kids and everyone loved this home. The view was magical and everyone enjoyed the pool and running around the property. The house was very clean and well taken care of. The property manager does a great job keeping everything in order and makes sure you have everything you need. There were ample cooking supplies, toiletries and linens. There was a lot of beach gear like chairs and beach toys which was wonderful! The location is in the center of the island which is perfect to get to all the beaches. Would highly recommend this house and hopefully we can return one day!

The views from this house are breath taking. The pool was outstanding, the dining room was breathing taking. Just over all beautiful, peaceful and great space for entire family. Would love to go back for a girls week now, lol !

The views this property offers are unbelievable! The outdoor great room was our favorite with the pool being a close second! Not a bad view from anywhere on the property! Would definitely stay again!

My family had a wonderful stay at this property. Property manager was responsive and had the place ready for our arrival. The house came with all the basic necessities and more. We particularly enjoyed the dining area and ofcourse the pool overlooking all of Vieques. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

Christina was very helpful and easy to work with. Fantastic property. Our kids loved spending the evenings in the pool, complete with colored lighting. We would certainly stay here again. Would be ideal for a couple of families to share.

The house and pool were above our expectations. The house almost a 360 degree of the island. The pool is perfect for sunsets. The grill and great room is great for making dinner, and all the beach supplies you could need make traveling to Vieques easy. Would stay here again for sure!

Property was nice but it needs to be totally stated that this is on an island off of Puerto Rico and a private charter or ferry is needed for entry with a ferry time and reservation link. I spent in total an extra $2000 in flight and taxi expenses getting to and from the San Juan airport , which is an hour away from the ferry you have to take , to an island with similarities as the Dominican Republic. No major stores, restaurants, pharmacy’s , grocery stores . Luckily i brought a chef but he had a hard time finding fresh food. Produce was rotten and it was just not the best experience. Overall i spent way more than expected which is why the nightly price was so affordable . I recommend just staying in Puerto Rico in the vicinity of the airport.

Breathtaking experience, the property was amazing. Puerto Rico can be seen in the distance as you indulge in peace and tranquillity on the island. The property is close to all activities and local attractions like kayaking and horseback riding. Christina the property manager is great, she took care of everything! I will be back to my island gem!

This home is a wonderful respite on the island of Vieques. The views are incredible from everywhere in and around the home. There is plenty of space for people to relax inside and out. The pool was a wonderful place to sit and read after a day at the beach. Christina was easy to communicate with and made check in seem less. She even helped when our daughter stepped on a sea urchin. This is our second time staying in this home and it won’t be our last.

When we arrived to this property our family was pretty much speechless. It's is simply gorgeous. The home is open to the outdoors and the trade winds were blowing through the house all week! (A bird even flew right through and gorgeous geckos are everywhere) Gardens/patio/pool 365 views of the island. The roosters wake you up in the morning to a gorgeous sunrise and it's an easy 15-20 minute drive to unspoiled pristine beaches. The kitchen is fully stocked and grill brand new. We did a lot of cooking and Christina was a very helpful and responsive host. The giant igaunas on the property and island were a constant source of amusement for our kids who ran around the entire time. Snorkeling gear/toys for pool/umbrellas and coolers for beach--made avail to us was a HUGE plus. Lovely birds in the gorgeous trees on the property and fragant tropical plants. This is an extraordinary house for the right group or family, and for us (three couples, one with their 12-year old) it was perfect. There are two bedrooms upstairs in the main house and a bedroom with a sleep sofa in the casita. Downstairs in the main house is a large room with four single beds and a bathroom, which would be great for a bunch of kids. But the house is so much more than the bedrooms. The great room is the open heart of the house, with a soaring ceiling, and a wide arched door that opens to the yard. We spent long evenings there, talking, laughing, and letting the warm breeze wash over us. The views from that room, and from the yard and pool, are incredible. The house sits high on the island, and offers a sweeping vista from Culebra and “mainland” PR to the north to the biobay to the south. It’s literally breathtaking. The pool is pretty perfect, too. You can hang on the far end and watch birds circling below you. Or you can nod off in a comfy lounge chair after a few too many Ron Barralitos. Altogether, it’s just right. It’s located equidistant from Isabella II and Esperanza, but it’s off the beaten track. You’ll feel a sense of privacy and calm, but you can grab supplies at Mambo in five minutes. The artwork throughout the home (by the home’s owner), is exquisite and enhances the entire experience.

We really enjoyed Vieques and absolutely loved this property. My husband and I stayed in the casita while my parents and sister stayed in the main home. We really enjoyed starting each day cooking breakfast at home and relaxing in the gorgeous open air living space. During our stay, we had several small questions - like figuring out how to light the stove - and we got an immediate response. We appreciated having plenty of beach towels, beach chairs and coolers provided for us. The beaches in Vieques are simply amazing and this house provided everything we needed to make the most of our time. I loved having a washer/dryer!! We really enjoyed horseback riding with Esperanza Riding Company and the bio bay tour with Jak was awesome. We also did a snorkel tour with Wai Vie! Our favorite restaurants were Coqui Fire, Biekes Bistro and Duffys. Every afternoon we lounged at the pool with a glass of wine or beer and soaked up a little more sunshine. It was hard to leave after such a lovely week in a beautiful home. We will be back!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We spent a lovely 4 weeks at this amazing place, would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about making this trip. The property had unbeatable views and was much larger than expected, with plenty of beds and bathrooms for even larger groups. It’s situated on top of a mountain which provides excellent views and privacy. The house manager was so prompt with any questions/concerns we had; it was like being in a 5 star hotel. Every single beach was an easy drive away, and for those who can’t swim, the pool was the perfect place to relax and dip your toes in on a hot day. Since Vieques is an island, you won’t find gigabit internet here, but both houses had their own internet connection, and we found the one in the casita especially stable and fast.

The property has the best views on the island, the setup is remarkable and it feels safe and secluded. Christina is a very nice, attentive property manager who went above and beyond to make our vacation great. Her recommendations on where to eat and what to do were spot on! Will definitely b e staying here again!

We booked this place knowing that if something looks too good to be true, it usually is, but we were blown away! Incredible views, plenty of space for the family to spread out, convenient distance to any part of the island. Communication was truly excellent as well.

We just returned from a wonderful, memorable week at Hacienda Bella Vista. The house is very comfortable and well-outfitted, and decorated with some terrific abstract artworks painted by the owner, Celina. The house and pool are very private and the pool gets great afternoon sun. My wife and I were traveling alone this time, but we hope to return with friends soon. This would be a great place to come with a family or friend group of 6-8 people. Thank you, Celina, for sharing the house with us!

We were lucky enough to find this gem on the top of a hill with amazing views of the ocean. Mark was great in reaching out to us before we arrived and even met my husband at the car rental place and followed him back to the ferry to collect the rest of the family and have us follow him to the house. We arrived earlier than our check in time and Mark allowed us to drop our stuff off so we could head off to the beach. He provided us with tons of helpful information on his “cheat sheet” of the islands beaches and restaurants. Each one was better then the last. We had such a great time at the house watching the sun rise in the morning and set in the evening by the pool. We would definitely stay here again when we come back. It was hard really hard to leave. Great spacious property with great views! We loved the open air spaces and the pool was a hit with our teenagers! The property is clean and our host was attentive. We could not have asked for a better experience. We hope to stay at Hacienda BellaVista again in the future!

This was our second stay at Hacienda Bella Vista. It’s a great home with a beautiful pool and views. The open dining area is our favorite place to gather as a family. It’s conveniently located to all the beaches.

My family of 5 loved this house. We all had plenty of comfortable space for ourselves. The pictures dont do it justice. We never needed the A/C because of the perfect breeze in the open air layout. Pool and pool deck were terrific with nice chairs, big views and glorious water. Caretakers were awesome and very helpful as we were fresh to Vieques. I can almost 100% percent guarantee we will be back to this house.

The property was gorgeous with amazing views and comfortable beds. Some updated kitchen equipment would have made cooking more enjoyable, but what was there was sufficient. Marc was extremely helpful in providing transportation to and from the ferry and giving us suggestions about where to visit, snorkel and eat. He also went out of his way to provide early check in and late check out to accommodate our ferry and flight times. Look forward to visiting again. We left a little piece of our hearts in Vieques!❤️
