Bedrooms were luxurious and the house had everything we needed during our stay. Town conveniently located a few minutes away. Some great cafes for breaky and lunch. Overall very picturesque and pieceful.

Good, quiet location for touring the Huon area. We were only four adults but large enough to cater for more comfortably. Netflix a plus. Very effective heating for the cooler weather.

We enjoyed a family holiday in this lovely home. The house is well appointed with plenty of room to suit a variety of family types. The expanse of double glazed windows and doors allows plenty of light inside whilst staying snug inside, in the cooler weather, or to invite the freshness of the day in when wanted. There are lots of options to sit and enjoy the beauty of the river and nature. The beds are comfortable and situated in generous bedrooms. Ample linen supplied. A few minor things could be tweaked but would definitely recommend this property.

Great location in a well designed very clean spacious house. Really comfortable beds. Walk to brilliant coffee/ breakfast place. Great location , close to Huonville town and short drive to beautiful Cygnet . Had a fabulous day trip to Bruny Island and enjoyed a lunch at Mathew Evans , Fat Pig Farm and both were easy to do from here. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely recommend to others .

This is a beautiful property. A home away from home & we loved staying here. It was a great base for exploring the Huon Valley right down to Cockle Bay. It was lovely to come home to such comfort each afternoon. Would love to come back.

Really enjoyed the location and amenities. Beds were soft aNd comfy. Light switches can be interesting to locate but not an issue. We would definitely stay again.

As a group of retirees we used it as a base to explore the area. Excellent roomy house maybe more suitable for families as we could of used an extra bathroom or toilet. Highly recommend Jins Kitchen, Korean restaurant, in Huonville.

Fantastic property, the pictures do not do it justice. Well designed, great furniture and fittings with amazing views across the river and hillside. The town has a surprising amount of great places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would recommend to all.

My family and I loved this house. It is so comfortable and beautifully furnished and decorated. There were toys for the kids and so much to do in the area. We loved the nearby bakery and general store, which does amazing burgers and pho.

This was so relaxing and they really have thought of everything. The house is beautiful and in a wonderful location for seeing the area. Perhaps a bbq on the back deck would have topped it off but the kitchen is so fully stocked and functional that it does make up for it. Not that we used any of it but they have even thought of everything a family with children could use. The only other would be a TV in the master suite to escape others and spend time in this amazing suite. The only reason I gave 4 stars for cleaning was that we moved the couches around and it was really quite dusty under there and several toys had been living under there. The bulk of the house was amazing and clean including bedding and bathrooms. Thank you for this place. We are already planning a return trip and have recommended it to our friends.

We had a fabulous stay. The house is spacious and well equipped. Perfect for families as it has a portacot and high chair. The bakery down the road is fabulous. I highly recommend staying here.

Location is looking over the water with views filtered by some native plantings. The house is only 11 years old, and is an architectural design and feel. All the features you would ever need, and very comfortable with huge sliding doors and awning windows. Very peaceful and a short walk to the river below, which has a canoe launching area. 2.3km to Huonville for Salamanca Fresh IGA, Woolies, BWS and a magic butcher. Around the corner is the Ranelagh Bakery - sourdough and fruit loaves on weekends. Further afield is a cidery and the best cherries sold out of a shed. We stayed for two weeks, and could have easily stayed another week.

Great spot for a pre Christmas family getaway, comfortably accommodated 7 adults plus baby. Very relaxing time, easy and open house and plenty to see (& eat and drink) in the local area.

Exceptional house for a getaway....very well appointed, large comfy rooms and when we arrived on a cold day it was lovely and warm inside with the sun streaming thru the windows...excellent eateries close by. Have stayed here several times now and can't wait to go again.

This house was everything we were looking for plus so much more! Warm homely and location for all our adventures. Just beautiful and peaceful!

We felt so at home and welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. The house was warm with plenty of extra blankets and comfy beds. The surroundings are breath taking and the house is perfectly situated with an easy commute to shops, Hobart and plenty of attractions. I would definitely recommend the house to anyone who is looking to stay in this beautiful area! We will be back again.

We had a wonderful time here. The house was central to all the places we came to see -ie Port Arthur, Bruny Island, Hobart, Richmond (twice) and many more places. The house is ideal for a large family, beautiful views and the people are so friendly.

Had a wonderful, extended family stay at Huon Valley house. When we walked through the door, it took our breath away! Huge, open plan home with large bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas and views to die for, with large glass windows to appreciate the views from pretty much every room! Beds were really comfy. Well situated for lots of activities- we had a fun filled week! Excellently stocked with games for the kids on a rainy day. Only downsides were no clothes line or dryer for clothes despite a huge laundry and no BBQ - so just missed out on the 5 stars.

We recently stayed at the house with our son and daughter-in-law and two small children. It is well designed for an extended family with bedrooms at both ends of the house and two bathrooms. The beds were comfortable although the lounge furniture was not - big squishy chairs and sofas don't suit older people, but they were certainly big enough to cuddly a grandchild in! The house is centrally located to all the attractions of the area And we enjoyed it.

We had a great stay at Huon Valley House, it was very comfortable and felt tranquil.. Theres also plenty to do in the area.. I will definatly be recommending this accomodation to my friends...

My partner and I thoroughly loved our stay here and felt so relaxed by the end of. In walking distance of the amazing summer kitchen bakery which we took advantage of each morning. The only slight downfall to the property was a lack of some kitchen "essentials", such as a few baking trays, mixing bowl etc. honestly not a huge deal, but if you're driving from within Tasmania it might be an idea to bring anything you think will be essential for your stay.

beautiful house, warm and cosy with gorgeous views. a great week with the family to celebrate a milestone birthday. make sure you visit willies cider house and home hill wines, both around 'the corner'. would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a house with a lot of space, perfect for family holidays. The quality of the beds is very good, perfect for a good sleep! The bathrooms are spaceous. The showers in the middle of the room without any curtain or glass wall are very modern, but they are not very handy: after every shower the bathroom was wet all over. You need shoes to come to the toilet with dry feet... What I missed, was a seperate toilet. One bedroom has its ensuite bathroom. But all the other guests (we were 4, but 6 is possible), have only one bathroom, which was often wet because of the shower. The kitchen is big and nice. But there was not enough cutlery - especially the teaspoons (only 4). The handover of the key was easy and uncomplicated. And so are Angela and Tony: helpful and uncomplicated.

We stayed for 4 relaxing nights during the school holidays and would gladly have stayed for much longer - great base from which to explore the Huon Valley and surrounds . Beautifully designed property with stylish, personal touches. As a child of the 80s, I especially enjoyed the role playing games in the games room!
