We loved our stay at Dr Z’s beach house. The location can’t be beat. We’d love to stay here again next summer.

Literally on the beach! Not steps away…Right on the sand!

Dr Z was great and the property was nice. Close to the beach but living on the first floor was challenging with the noise upstairs. Also, they need to update the outdoor furniture and there is a major parking issue which I did not know about until well after I paid the final deposit. Overall the property was good but for the cost (VRBO fees ) it was over prices for what you got. I would pay if it was direct with Dr Z

We stayed in the 1st floor unit with our toddler and it was ideal - super close to the beach, a relaxing back deck (you can hear the waves) and sand at your feet, and an easy stroll to fantasy island and Bay Village. Even during the busy holiday weekend we could easily find parking in the street, which was helpful.

The property is sandwiched between two larger homes. It is nestled on the beach between the dunes. Drawbacks are duplex and you can hear everything between upstairs and downstairs. There was mention in cleaning crew but found former peoples items in home. Recommend: fresh coats of paint and drywall, and hardwood floors. Easy place if you are going spend more time out of the house. The owner is nice and available.

Great house that’s right on the beach and conveniently located to walk to Beach Haven, but it could use a few updates. The host is very helpful. I’d stay here again.

Unbeatable location. On the beach, short walk or bike ride to all the attractions, restaurants and shops. Super friendly and accommodating owner.

The owner, Dr. Z was very responsive and was a great help. The location can’t be beat and the house was VERY well equipped with every conceivable appliance (blender, toaster, microwave, etc). All paper goods and soaps were supplied along with some nonperishable food items. While the place appeared clean, I did find a used paper cup under the bed. The noise from the upstairs neighbors was problematic. We could hear them walking and, although we could not hear words, we could hear them talking. And they weren’t talking very loud or arguing. Noise just carried.

The house was everything we imagined it to be and perfect for our small kiddos. Dr. Z was always able to be reached with any questions. The kids literally had their very own sandbox. The privacy of the dunes was really nice as well. The house was very well stocked too!

The property is located in a great location, but it needs some TLC. We rented the first floor unit, which is spacious and convenient. Great central air and the washer/dryer are in the unit. The interior needs some updates, such as a new couch. The wall to wall carpeting needs to be removed and replaced with laminate floor or anything else just not carpeting The bathrooms are in disrepair and require at a minimum some basic updates, such as: new towel racks, toilet paper holders and toilet seats. However, the most important update would be the installation of a paver paths around outside shower to connect it to the stairs for both units in order to avoid tracking sand into the house. We didn’t want to use the outside shower because once you showered your feet would get sandy again. I spent the first two days removing debris, old toys, garbage, weeds and performing minor repairs to the property. Not the best experience, but could be a lot better with some minor updates.

This beach house was very comfortable, but needed some upgrades in the furniture. The owner addressed concerns in a timely manner.

The overall experience was lovely! Close to everything! The tandem parking was tricky, but only because the renters above weren’t accommodating:-(, they arrived after us and left without a heads up- we wanted to go to the store, but had to wait for them to return from the beach.

The house is in a great location to the ocean and was in a quiet neighborhood. LBI is a great place to go to recharge your battery...Dr. Z was great to contact and was quick to answer any questions you might have had. Great weekend...

Dr Z. the owner was so accommodating and we had a lovely ladies weekend in LBI. House is cozy and had everything we needed. Wishing we had more of an ocean view downstairs but the dunes provided the beach feel we were looking for. Thank you again!

The place was very clean and suitable for our situation. Parking was limited but we didn't have any problems parking on the street.

Great location close to Bay Village and steps to the beach. Very pleasant owner. The house was clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped .Would definitely rent again.
