Family of five. Four days and three nights. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach. It’s about a 1 mile walk to the downtown “touristy” areas.

Clean and convenient location for a stay in Grand Haven.

Perfect location just across the street from the beach and a short drive to necessities. Loved the view from the back deck. The home is bright and clean and suited the three of us perfectly. The only small drawback was being able to hear the renters above walking around at times. But we would definitely stay there again.

Happe House B was clean, perfect layout and a wonderful location. We enjoyed the house and patio with amazing views. Just perfect!

Over all the accommodations were very nice. It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the location fabulous and the check in/check out was clear and seamless. I was a little sad to see the table and chairs in the dining room were on the verge of falling apart, we were afraid to use them. The couch had sections with deep drop offs to the bottom. I would suggest replacing these items. It would make this a perfect VRBO rental. Thank you.

It was a lovely place. The only drawback was that there were 5 of us, and only 4 forks. . . And only 2 wine glasses. But we soldiered on.

Fantastic view! Across the the street from the beach! I felt like the beach was my home for a couple of days! The deck and living area has a fantastic view or the “Big Lake”! The roar of the water and sounds of the lake also made this trip memorable. The rooms and bathroom were kinda small, but we were too busy enjoying being out and about. Clean accommodations, easy check in, closeness to the beach equals a very nice getaway!

The space was nice, and very snug. The listing says it sleeps six or so, which is true, however if it were a rainy day and you were stuck inside, it would feel crowded to me. Also there were no personal bits throughout the apartment, no board games, books, or movies. Most places we have stayed have had a guest logbook where families can share their experiences and read past accounts. The tap water was also not good, bring a jug of water to make coffee or tea or food. The view was amazing, we got to sit right on the patio with blankets (late October) to watch the sunset, and the neighborhood was really nice to walk through. The location is good, close to downtown area, but far enough to escape any crowds.

The property was absolutely gorgeous with stunning views of the lake and sunset. We spent 4 nights and enjoyed each and every moment of our stay. The host was very communicative and had everything prepared for our arrival. Would recommend for anyone looking to stop by Grand Haven!

Great view and location. Recommend installing a garbage disposal. Also, reverse the door on the refrigerator! The only negative was noise from the upstairs apartment. Also, an awning would be great to block the intense Western Sun.

The view was good and it is close to downtown. After what I paid per night and fees- no way. Both air handlers and water heaters are in the middle of the living space. The ac or heater would go on and off all night with a very loud fan. The Venetian blinds in the bedroom were broken. I had to put a towel over it to keep people from looking in. I moved a bed to plug in a cord and there was hair and lint every where under the bed.

The rental fee isn't necessarily cheap and while I understand you're paying for location, view, etc; it wouldn't hurt to throw in some more of the basics. Unobstructed lake view and a large deck to sit and watch the sunset. Amenities were good. Some things need a bit of work in the house... the showerhead needs replacement or a good scrub with limeaway. House was very cold even with the air turned off. Not sure the bed in the 1st bedroom is a queen. It looked like a full bed set against a queen headboard...not too big of a deal, hubby and I were just a bit closer than usual:). All in all though, house was very clean and comfortable. Furniture and beds, linens were in great condition. We did not cook while there, but everything was there to do so if we decided to. We will definitely be returning!

We loved the large deck that overlooks the lake. We had every meal outside and spent hours there. It was great being so close to the water, and only a short walk into town. The rental had all the basics, the only reasons we gave four stars are the shower is incredibly tight, and the beds weren't comfortable.

Coffee maker was disgusting and unusable... it should be thrown out. Sheets did not fit on beds at all. They only covered the corners, so every time you slept they would come up, exposing the bare mattress. Floors could have used a very good sweeping and mopping. Other than these three issues, our stay was amazing!

Great location! Clean property with comfortable living room furniture. Bedroom mattresses could use replacing. Can hear the neighbors upstairs and the furnace is loud, but that drowns our the upstairs noise. Will definitely consider returning!

We could not believer how spotless and what great shape the place was. We did not cook, because we ate out each night. The bed was so comfortable that I tried to look under the mattress for the name of it. The only problem was the a.c. was a bit too cold for us. Great view. Close to everything. I walked so much my shorts were too big when I got home. I , we , love grand Haven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
