Our girls grip loved the home! It was fabulous and very well stocked! The host even had a scavenger hunt and we won a prize, which was a game! So cute! Host was great with communication with any questions we had prior to going to the house and very accommodating! We had no issues while we there! All beds were comfortable! Will definitely book again when we stay in this area!

We were in town for a friends wedding and jumped at the opportunity to get the family together. With all the amenities and location to town, yet out of town, 12 Armadillos couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Closest thing to bringing the “whole house” with us. Space, comfort, and cleanliness surpassed our expectations. Will definitely return when visiting the area again.
We are already looking for a reason to return.

Our family is always on the hunt for "the best of the best" in accommodations for our weekend getaways, and we were not disappointed in this Gorgeous Barndo! We found everything to be exactly as described in the listing, if not better. You really have to see it to understand the uniqueness of this place.
The Barndo location was perfect and close to town, the check-in process was simple, and the Barndo was clean and ready for us to start having fun. There was even a cute little welcome gift awaiting us when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked, and the comfy bedrooms and bathrooms were well-appointed. We had a large group of between 19 to 21 there at various times during the weekend and it was so nice having enough space for everyone to spread out. Some played pool, some worked puzzles on the long table in the great room, some hung out on the long porch, others played ping pong or Pacman. Others just chilled with a cold drink at the bar. I can't describe how nice it was to have a large enough space for each little group to do their own thing but in the same room so that no one ever felt like they were missing out.
The host was incredibly responsive and gracious, answering every question and keeping us informed even when a minor repair needed to be made ahead of our stay. I really appreciated that kind of attention to detail.
It will be hard to find another rental that will surpass the experience we had here. That's why we plan on returning as soon as we are able! :)

We had a family wedding in Brenham and needed a place to host the rehearsal dinner, the groom's party, and some family for the long weekend. This barndo was the perfect spot to handle it all! The great room was fantastic to host a beautiful dinner and the rooms were excellent to host those staying the whole weekend. It is close enough to town to be convenient but far enough out to feel like you have gotten away from it all. The barndo is very well stocked with pretty much anything you will need and then some! I can't say enough about the hosts! They were super responsive and helpful throughout the process! Make a reservation, you will be glad you did!

The house was wonderful, the younger adults loved all of the games and activities to do. It was especially nice that all 6 downstair bedrooms had their own bathroom. Would definitely stay there again

We had a big family reunion over Christmas and 12 Armadillos was the perfect venue. We had family coming from overseas so the Barndo was perfect to give them a real Texas experience. Bedrooms were ample and very comfortable; enough for each family group to have their own room and bathroom.
The big living room and social area hosted all family events, dinners and long conversations. Adults enjoyed the ample bar and games, while kids entertained themselves at the game room. The firepit area was great to enjoy the spectacular Sunsets, drinks and food, and we got really great weather after the Christmas cold, so we took advantage of the open property for some baseball, football, cornhole and grilling.
Overall an excellent stay! Thank you Christa for the hospitality and flawless booking and communication.

Thank you so much for having this house for others to enjoy!!! We had a wedding in Brenham and our whole family was able to stay in the house and it was the best weekend! Everyone - even the kids - put down their electronics to enjoy everything this place had to offer. The games, pool table, ping pong and all of the outside games were used constantly! This house had everything we needed and more! Each bedroom having its own bathroom was perfect! The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was so comfortable!! All of us were able to relax and enjoy every bit of time we had there I only wish it was longer!! If you are on the fence about renting this place, do it! You won’t regret it!!! Thanks again for the wonderful experience!!!

It was an incredible weekend for our family get together - the Barndominium was spotless and beautiful, and communications with Christa were responsive and easy, the sunsets over the hills gorgeous - all the right stuff. You felt at home on the ranch. There aren't enough stars to rate the 12 Armadillos' Barndominium experience. It's a Texas sweet spot.

This property is amazing! It’s exactly what we anticipated from the pictures and more. It’s very spacious, clean, and full of activities for our school aged to high-school aged kids, including a scavenger the younger children enjoyed. The owners were responsive and quick to respond to our group’s needs; their attention to detail is stellar. It’s very apparent that they take pride in the home they share with their guests; there was nothing lacking! We look forward to visiting again the next time we have a large gathering with friends and family.

Able to sleep several adults quite comfortably with several of them bedrooms having en suite bathrooms. The property was beautiful and has plenty of room for socializing and the ability to cook and feed large groups easily. The huge outdoor patio and beautiful landscape was a favorite!

We hosted 14 people and the Barndo was a great place. We enjoyed searching for armadillos, that was a game we found in the lovely gift basket we received on arrival. The suggested scavenger hunt in downtown Brenham was a big hit. Highly suggest this place!

I rented the Barndo for a family reunion after we hadn't been able to see each other for 3+ years thanks to COVID. We had attendees from 3-65 years old in the house and it was a blast. The main living area is a true gem and was a great place for everyone to gather for meal times every day, play pool, watch movies, have game nights, etc. The kitchen area was spacious, well stocked and easy to cook in every day. We also loved the separate bar area for making drinks / keeping back up drinks cool, etc.
We hosted Barndo Olympics on the side yard, which everyone said was the highlight of their stay and the outdoor fans were so clutch in the Texas summer heat.
The Barndo is also very close to HEB, Walmart and downtown Brenham so you can get out and explore / run errands very easily.
Two observations: WiFi was a little hard to reliably connect to once we had more than 25 people in the house (but that seems fair, frankly!) and the bathroom situation on the second floor is definitely lopsided (one bathroom for two bedroom and the bunk room). We didn't mind because it was all family so folks upstairs just used bathrooms on the main level (every bedroom on the main level has its own bathroom), but something to consider when you're doing room assignments.
Overall, we loved the Barndo and would definitely consider it again for family reunions. It's clearly a place that is built with love and well-thought out. Thank you for hosting us!

We stayed here for our wedding weekend and it was perfect! Everything was so clean, inside and outside was incredible, and the land was so pretty. Everyone was amazed when they walked in. I would definitively recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun place to stay!

The barndo was amazing! Our family stayed for the weekend of my daughter’s wedding. The property was beautiful, and the house met all of our needs. My only regret is that we didn’t have more time to spend there.

We are a corporate group that came for a buying trip to Round Top. Barndo was a perfect spot for our group of 8 professionals - both practical and super fun. We did meals in two of the nights and it worked perfectly, including lovely sunsets and hanging out at the fire pit afterwards. The hosts are fantastic and everything went smoothly!

The property was absolutely perfect for our stay - it was clean and had all the amenities you would want and need. The openness of the space and the bar area were amazing. Every room was comfortable and spacious - would recommend 10/10 for someone wanting a fun getaway with friends or family.

Me and my family were there to celebrate my mother in law's 80th birthday and we had the time of our lives. The property is stunning and huge. It looks exactly like the photos show it to be. There are so many amenities to enjoy. There's no way anyone can be bored here. Each room downstairs has it's own private bathroom which was a huge plus with so many people. The kegerator was a big hit too! It was extremely cold and drizzly the entire time we were there, but that didn't keep us from having a wonderful time. We had ping pong and foosball tournaments, family game night, karaoke party, shrimp boil, etc. They've put so much thought and care making sure their guests have everything they need. We will definitely be coming back!

Incredible property!! We had 13 ranging in age from 10 to 79! Perfect setup. So nice with 6 bedrooms/bathrooms down. Everyone enjoyed the games…young and old.

Thisproperty is absolutely gorgeous. Questions were answered promptly by the manager. The fully stocked kitchen (3 ovens!!) made cooking a pleasure.

16 of us gathered for Thanksgiving and it was great! With 3 ovens we didn’t have to shuffle food in and out and no problem with enough table settings, silverware and bakewear. Fantastic! Due to rain, we took full advantage of corn hole, billiards and ping pong, as well as many board games and we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. The owners left an indoor “armadillo” scavenger hunt, which was so fun! Thank you for a terrific family Thanksgiving!

Not only did we have all the wedding stuff - rehearsal dinner; wedding and reception; and a 90th birthday party for our dad. Very spacious and a nice variety of games which everyone enjoyed. Owners were so very nice and accommodating and I can’t say enough how easy it was to work with them! They are wonderful and if get the chance to come back to texas definitely will look to rent this place again!

The Barndo was the perfect venue for a family celebration for my parent's 60th wedding anniversary. Our experience was spectacular! The attention to detail inside and out provided the comforts of home (actually many things were better than home!). We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching it rain, having meals and playing games around the large farmhouse table, and creating new memories with loved ones. The 14 of us intentionally stayed put at the 12 Armadillos, only leaving twice - once to tour the Blue Bell Creamery and once to have BBQ at LJ's where the locals eat. We could stay secluded thanks to the amazing catering by Tara from Royers Pies. We are grateful for the hospitality that was extended to us and will hopefully have another reason to go back again. You all exceeded expectations! Many thanks!!

This barndo rental is amazing. It was everything we hoped it'd be and more! More than enough space for our three families. The teenagers were able to have their own rooms, while the younger kids got to enjoy the upstairs bunks. Property was clean and close to town, and yet surrounded by countryside. It has a great outdoor space to enjoy games, a fire, and a sunset. We cannot wait to book again next year. A perfect low-key getaway!
