The Carriage House gives exactly what one expects for the price - five star standards and service. Everything is planned for and accommodated.

Beautiful room with an amazing view. Very private.
The water in the shower was terrible. Difficult to adjust and bad pressure. Truly the only negative.

Everything from the front desk receptionist to our room to our view and the overall vibe of the Carriage House exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back; it was so private, clean, quiet, and we had a blast traveling with our Dalmatian!

Location was great .. we stayed at the carriage house so parking at first was a little confusing. Rooms were beautiful and clean. View of the water was nice and felt private. We had dinner at tbe Ghost Light, and really enjoyed the menu.

Cute, comfortable rooms with nice views in a convenient location. The staff was kind and everything was clean.
I’d have expected ghost light inn to have coffee brewed in the morning. All they offer are keurigs in the rooms. For the price, I’d have hoped they could have included the snacks and drinks in the minibar, given that it was off season and there weren’t really a lot of options near by to grab things. Pretzels were $5 and a soda was $8. Parking is $30 a night per car. … you’re paying $450 a night for a comfy bed and the location, but you don’t get much else. It’d be nice if they could put a microwave, games, or other amenities for their guests in the common space.

Centrally located in the middle of town. Room 15 was clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the river.

Literally couldn't have a better view over the river and towards Lambertville. Very cool
This is mostly just for maintenance, but the sliding door to the bedroom had trouble remaining on track. At one point it fell off the bottom track entirely but it was a relatively simple fix.
The walk in shower would pool up water that went over the shower border if a towel wasn't left in front of it. Not a big deal at all.

The bed was comfortable and the private balcony was the best part. Balcony view was nice.
We were in Room 15 which has a window next to the bed with wood slat shutters. Right outside the window there is an exterior light that stays on all night. Since there is no blackout curtain on this window like the sliding doors have, our room was lit up all night long which caused us to have very poor sleep. When the mini refrigerator in the room kicks on and runs it is a bit loud, which also didn't help when we were trying to sleep. The toilet had issues flushing and would cycle water randomly. The water in the shower had extreme fluctuations in temperature that could not be controlled. The area rug in the room had stains all over it and looked like it either needed a professional cleaning or should be replaced.

the only thing that we were disappointed in was that there is no breakfast included, at all. For the price range a general continental breakfast would have been nice. This is the only place we have stayed in New Hope in the past 15yrs that doesn’t include breakfast. That being said the property and staff were top notch, we would definitely stay again.

Elle who works at Carriage House was truly amazing. She was so accommodating and made our stay perfect. She also watched our little dog Bently for a few hours and treated him like a little rock star! She really made my trip with my Mom special and is truly an asset to the Carriage House for all the extra attention she gives to quests.
The Carriage house is just a beautiful place and the bed is heavenly!

My spouse and I stayed in room 14 at the Carriage House. We chose it primarily because of the balcony overlooking the river. The sound of the waterfall was a bonus! Also, the bed and bedding was amazing!!!

I enjoyed that Karla’s Restaurant & Bar was across the street. Just walking distance from the Carriage House. Location and atmosphere was essentially important since I was celebrating my 33rd. Wedding Anniversary. We wanted conveniences and a cozy rustic and aged look and feel. The town of New Hope offers all of that plus more!!!
There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like! Everything was perfect!

We came for my husbands 50th birthday.We had an amazing time and the Carriage House was just amazing.

The staff was so accommodating. Because of the flooding, our room wasn’t available but they moved mountains to get us in . Parking was very challenging, especially when there was a show going on.

We celebrated our anniversary there - manager left chocolates in our room as a gift which was an unexpected pleasure. The room was perfect. View of the river and small water falls, close to everything you'd want to do in New Hope. The downstairs common area was lovely.
