My friends and I stayed at the home and loved it and felt very comfortable. We played on the foosball table. The host is so nice to communicate with he left us a bottle of wine, snacks and a danish kringle from the bakery and coffee, and water bottles. It also was close to town. Would definitely stay there again. Also lots of beds there you could have plenty of places to sleep. Would do it again!

Me and some friends stayed for a few days and enjoyed every day we were there. The house was tidy and check in and out were quick and easy.

The house is very nice. Its big, and cleansy. The house is near beach and alot of gas stores.

The house, location, and owner were great. Lots of thoughtful touches. However, there is only one bedroom with a door that closes for full privacy. The other bedroom is also the hallway to get to the upstairs loft. The upstairs loft beds do not have privacy. It didn't end up being THAT big of a deal for us, but I would not stay here again because of it. The spiral staircase between the loft and main floor is not suitable for most anyone over 50 or over 200 lbs. Everything else was great, though. Christopher was great. We just didn't realize the bedrooms were not actual private bedrooms.

First off, this is 2 blocks from the one and only SPOT restaurant - which our grown kids enjoyed for late night killer double cheeseburgers! ;-) The home is wonderfully clean, thoughtfully appointed and quite large. You could comfortably have 10+ folks stay here with plenty of room and still wonderful gathering areas. The basement is finished and provides a great activity area for kids and adults alike. Communication was timely throughout the process. It's wonderful to find a home like this that allows a large family or several couples to stay together at an affordable price point with much better amenities than hotels. This is a great find

After a interesting beginning, our trip was great! Christopher was quick to respond. The house is so much bigger than it looks from the outside and I wish the weather had been better so we could have used the outdoor area. It was a great place for our new sailor to relax!

My family and I stayed here from out of state, to attend my son’s Navy Bootcamp graduation. The home worked perfectly for us and Chris was great to deal with. If I could give a score higher than 5 stars, I would!!

We had a wonderful stay in Kenosha. There was an issue with the hot water heater, I contacted Chris and within minutes somebody was over to fix it. Chris was always responsive to my requests. As for the home, it was lovely. I would highly recommend this property.

Chris was always reachable and very helpful with our questions. We felt welcome with the custom sign and treats awaiting our arrival. It is clear he strives for a 10/10 guest satisfaction. The property was amazing with so many beds to choose from! We would love to stay here again!

The house was nice and roomy

The house was clean and ready when we arrived. The neighborhood is quiet and back yard private! It was a great place to hang out with our sailor after graduation and for the weekend. The drive to the Naval Base is easy (a little longer than we had thought, but an easy straight drive). The lower level had a nice space to hang out as well- the whole house was cozy! We will definitely be back when in the area.

The location is just minutes from lake Michigan, many beautiful parks and hiking trails! We were pleasantly surprised with the backyard patio, firepit containing firewood and little lights in one of the trees. Chris provides detailed check-in and checkout instructions. He responded to my questions or concerns within minutes! We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for others!

We had a wonderful stay. 2 separate bedrooms and plenty of room for the children. The "home -like" feel of the property was great. This property was only about 35 minutes (17 miles) from the GL Recruit Training Station so it was perfect for our large family to visit the new Sailor. The neighborhood is super close to a beautiful park and felt very safe. The property owners made our stay very personalized as well. 100% recommended!!

My 2 teens and I stayed at Chris’s property while visiting relatives who live nearby. When we got to the house, there were some amazing welcome gifts, including a delicious pastry from a nearby bakery. We all had our own rooms with big comfortable beds. We utilized most (if not all) the offered amenities- laundry machines, grill, even the pack-n-play for an hour or so when my niece’s family with infant twins were over. The neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance to a nice park with walking or bike trails. The house is also just a couple of miles from Eichleman Park - a sandy public beach on Lake Michigan. We went there several times for swimming and picnics. Also close to a slew of great thrift stores. This location is close to highways leading to everywhere else - we went to Milwaukee to Discovery World, followed by eats at The Safe House (check that place out if you are into spies and intrigue! Unique spy themed restaurant). My kids enjoyed watching their favorite shows on the big TVs and I chilled out on the patio during our down time. Chris was super responsive with all communications. I’m so glad I chose to book our stay here versus a hotel!! So worth it!! Thanks a million, Chris and crew!!

We were pleasantly surprised by the quiet neighborhood and how big the house was. It's one of those optical illusions that is definitely is bigger inside than out. Everything that we could possibly have needed in the kitchen was there on site as well as a delicious pastry and bottle of wine! Would love to rent from Chris again!!!

Charming older home with nice upgrades. Appreciated very much the treats and wine left for us upon arrival. Super comfy beds! Nice updated bathrooms! Short drives to Kenosha’s pretty beaches and cute restaurants. If I come back to Kenosha, I would definitely stay here again. And, Christopher was fun and easy to communicate with!

The house was nice and the neighborhood quiet. Probably a little too quiet for us because i felt we were too loud when we had bonfires outside lol.

Nice place for 8-10 people. Close to the lake and all other local attractions. Hosts were easy to communicate with and gave accurate information. Only downside is that there is no bathroom upstairs where there are three beds. But we got by and enjoyed our stay.

Love the property. Beds and pillows were so comfortable. Charming house with a lot of character. Would absolutely stay here again. Hosts are wonderful.

I had to go to CTCA and most of my siblings decided to join me so I would not be alone. We thought rather than multiple hotel rooms we would look for a house on VRBO so that we could all be together. This house was perfect. We walked in and were greeted with a sign on the counter welcoming us to the home with a nice bottle of wine and the most amazing pastry ring. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept on, and the pillows, OMG Chris where did you get those pillows?!? I need one. Everything was super easy and seamless. This was by far the best place we have stayed and we couldn't have asked for a better host than Chris! We often travel north, we will only stay at one of Chris' places from now on!

Would definitely recommend. The owners were so hospitable and made us feel so welcome in their home by having goodies for us upon our arrival and a cute welcome sign! We had a wonderful family vacation and enjoyed coming back to the house each night to play games and get a good nights rest. This home was very comfortable and was perfect for our family needs.

Walking distance to a great playground was wonderful for a trip with little ones. A beach was just a 4 minute drive away, and another amazing playground was less than 10 minutes away. The house held 6 adults and 4 kids (two 4 YO, two 1 YO) without issue. Chris the owner was responsive and available, and his attention to detail is noticed and appreciated. Go visit Kenosha, and stay here, you'll have a blast!

Great house in a good location. There are 5 real beds (plus other sleeping options) with two enclosed bedrooms which made it easy to put the kids to sleep at night and continue on with the night. The backyard is great. Close to downtown and the beach as well, which are all very accessible. We had a great time. Thanks to Chris and his team.

We had a group of 5 in town for a fishing trip and this property was perfect for our needs. Very Clean, spacious, exactly as advertised, crazy comfortable beds, and perfect for our group.

We had a wonderful stay. The danish and wine were very nice touches. The house was clean and was the perfect size to accommodate 2 families. We loved visiting North Beach in Racine and Simmons Island Park. We have lots of great memories and hope to return sometime.

This house is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood with a great park within easy walking distance. The home was very clean and check in/out was easy. I wouldn’t recommend this house for those with very young kids or mobility difficulties due to some very steep staircases. Overall, we had a great stay!
