Location
37 very steep steps, nobody told us about it, it was near impossible at our Age with Luggage to get up there.
The whole unit is very old-fashioned and the Floor on a lean. To get WiFi we had to email Owner, where to leave the Key we had to email the Owner. Just not run well, compared to others. No introduction to start with.

Location
You have to Climb stairs and with luggage and kids becomes an issue. Not a big one though.

The apartment is in a great location, although the steps up (3 floors) are the steepest I've ever seen, and not for the fainthearted. Host was very accommodating, and the key handover was easy. BIG TIP - ignore the parking advice if travelling by car and get yourself in the Portofino car park in the main square. Parking in nearby towns is easy but taxi transfers are expensive, and boat taxis are often full.

very central, clean and functional
the windows are luminous but the view on the square is not quite as portrayed in the photo (you have to lean out of the window to see the square…)
