The highest level of service we have experienced. The staff was extremely courteous, the room and all the hotel facilities are well maintained, and the location is beautiful.

From the moment you walk into this magical hotel and spa I was greeted with such generous hospitality. I was a solo traveler and it was nice having the familiar staff who knew and called me by name. My table was set for breakfast every morning in my favorite seating area. The staff memorized my order which made me feel extra special. These small details were extremely important since I was traveling alone.

I loved EVERYTHING!

The place is absolutely amazing and so much peaceful. The hosting structure is new and modern maintaining an historical aspect. A remark goes absolutely on the bar service (amazing) and the breakfast. Staff very nice and available. The SPA was also great to relax. The general sensation of feeling cared.

Only small things... Parking garage costs extra but the outdoor parking spaces are for free and with parking service so everything good. The path to the outdoor pool currently still goes through the meadow. A few tiles as a path would be super Breakfast by Italian standard, a bit little choice and with extra cost for e.g. avocado sandwich.

For half the price this would have felt like a lovely hotel but not for the price charged

We really didn't feel this hotel was worth the price at all. The small touches weren't there which you'd expect from this sort of price for a 5-star hotel. - One day there were quite a few of us in the spa at 7 and the spa was meant to close at 7.30 but they turned everything off at 7. We also saw other guests being given a tour of the spa but we didn't get told anything because we spoke English and it seemed only Italian guests got the tour. - There was a bar at the pool but no staff there and the sun loungers weren't comfy at all. - We were also told there was a turn-down service which actually meant they just put a menu next to your bed to make extra money if you wanted breakfast in your room. It would have been a nice touch to turn the lights down and un-tuck the bed which I've had in other hotels costing far less or just don't say you do it at all. - In the room, the hairdryer was a super cheap rubbish travel one so took ages to dry my hair and there was no iron or ironing board. - The bed was meant to be a double bed but was just 2 single beds put together. - The windows all need cleaning in the spa The love and attention to detail needs to be added to make this worth the price for us. I think the main thing you're paying for here is space really.

The service and staff were fantastic! The hotel and facilities were excellent. Cuisine was exceptional! We had dinner at Radici and Pagoda and found the cuisine, wine list, and service absolutely excellent. Also had breakfast each morning and again found the food and service excellent. We also used the spa and booked massage, facial, etc, and it was very good.

We really had to push to give some critical feedback, so not a big issue, but the loungers at the pool are not comfortable for reading.

Wonderful place in the middle of Central Italy countryside. Staff is caring and attentive; food is delicious and breakfast is excellent.

While on our way from Rome to Siena by car we were looking for a place to relax for couple of days and this hotel fit the bill perfectly! Overall our impressions were very positive. The hotel was immaculately clean, even the spa area. All the staff was extremely polite, welcoming and well trained (from the front desk to the restaurant employees, cleaning and maintenance personnel). The room was quite comfortable and very spacious. In our experience the food during breakfast is great, the light lunch is very good and well priced and the dinner at their Michelin restaurant was memorable. Such a treat! Regarding the parking that many other reviews mention, it is a bit far (a 5 minute walk I would say) but I think they have been paying attention to the feedback they are receiving because now they offer to get your car to and from the parking which for us resolved this issue.

We really enjoyed our relaxing days here so this is not really a complaint but a personal preference, we would have preffered if the pool and sauna areas would stay open until a bit latter.
