Location was a short drive to downtown, a short stroll to the Zilker Park trail system, which we enjoyed (walked around Barton Springs pool and down to the Colorado River, which they call Town Lake or Lady Bird Lake). Neighborhood was quiet. We never needed to buy anything at the market next door, but we went in to see what they had - like a gas station convenience store with a sandwich deli, extensive wine selection, and walkin beer cooler. Nice to have close by. We stayed over Thanksgiving when visiting our son who lives there - so used the kitchen to make a dinner for 4. All good there, although dishwasher is very noisy. Having a 2nd small bathroom with shower in the bedroom loft area was very nice. We're pretty particular with pillows and like firm mattresses. Bed was soft, pillows not good. But the place is cute, clean, and comfortable (we have youtube tv, so the tv worked great for us too). We'll stay here again for our future Austin visits.

This was a great place to stay and visit Austin. Easy walking distance to Barton Springs pool and that entire area. Short Uber ride from S Congress and other popular areas. The apartment has a nice living area and a loft bedroom. Great view of downtown from the porch. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. The market next door has everything you could need for a short stay. Highly recommended!

Work trip
I had a work trip in Austin that was unexpectedly extended. This place was amazing! It’s relaxing and the host is very responsive. I can’t wait to stay there again the next time I’m in Austin. I highly recommend staying there even if it’s just a staycation.

Best location for couples/small party
We loved this property! It was small, just 2 people, but the location can not be beat! So close to many things. The next door market was also very convenient. It was very clean and comfortable. I'll probably look to stay again.

Contemporary apartment in great location.
I had an event at the Palmer Event Center which was 1.6 miles from this apartment. The location was perfect and there was everything I needed for my weekend stay.

Cool Pad in Cool Spot
Had a wonderful weekend stay in this clean and cozy loft space in Barton Hills. Clean sheets, fresh towels, cold AC, wonderful host, and a comfortable bed and living space, all within walking distance to Barton Springs.

Great place to stay minutes to everything
Conveniently located close to shopping, great food, the river, trails, and good drinks. Sean was a great host and responded quickly whenever I had a question about the property or recommendations where in Austin.
Would definitely recommend this place.

Convenient location near the downtown and in the heart of many outdoor activities.
The place was great more than enough room for my wife and I. The condo was walking distance from many outdoor activities such as Barton springs pool, kayaking, and bike trails that we actually used to bike into the downtown on a number of occasions (one time to see the bats under the bridge). The area is chill and clean which was nice coming back home too after nights out on E. 6th, Rainey St., etc. You can also walk a couple of blocks from the condo to find a number of restaurant/bars + food trucks. Getting Lyfts/Uber also very easy from this location. The property manager Sean was also very accommodating and let us stay a little later on our check out day so we weren’t displaced while waiting for our flight back. Would recommend condo and location.

Wonderful Loft
Very nice property. Wonderful neighborhood and easy access to downtown Austin. The owner/manager provided all necessary info on the loft as well as maps and restaurant guides.

Awesome condo in a cool neighborhood!
This was my first vrbo experience and i have to say it was pretty cool. Sean was very accommodating and quick to respond to my questions about anything. I forgot to grab my work phone when we checked out and he went to the trouble of sending it back to me ASAP which was very cool of him. The condo itself is pretty neat...love the decor and the loft set up. I was wondering how i would survive without the amenities of a hotel but there is a mini mart within walking distance that has everything you could possibly need including an awesome beer and wine selection. We also order d a couple of sandwiches from there which to my surprise were delicious!!! $4-$8 uber or Lyft ride to most cool spots. Overall great experience. Thanks Sean!!!

Great place to stay!
Just stayed here this past week - and what a wonderful experience it was! The location is excellent, as it is in a cute, safe neighborhood that is pretty close to all the sights (and Lyft was really quick to bring us to anything not in walking distance). The host was also incredibly helpful and hospitable. Overall, just a great experience and a great trip :)

Nice apartment, great location
This was an excellent place to stay to visit Austin. It is close to downtown but on a quiet street. For runners and walkers, the location is excellent as it is only 1/4 mile from a great trail system that follows Barton Creek and the banks of the Colorado River. There is a small market next door with provisions (you should check the expiration date on perishable items as some of the ones we wanted had expired a few weeks prior). There is a good food truck location less than a mile away. The only issue we encountered is that the Internet connection is very slow (4Mbps download with high latency). If you need a good connection, you may not be satisfied with this. Also, be aware that there isn't cable TV, just over-the-air broadcasts. If neither of those things bothers you, this is a great place and I highly recommend it.

Phenomenal stay
I can't recommend this neat property enough. Sean was a great host and the place is convenient to everything that makes Austin great. I'm gonna miss my breakfast tacos and morning walk to Lou Neff Point. Hiking, kayaking, art, gardens, great restaurants, all within close proximity.

This place is in a great location and close to many different activities. The home is very clean and is great for a single or couple. The host is very resonsive and the information provided was very good. Highly recommend.

Perfect condo right near the heart of Austin
This great little condo is prefect for 2 and was an easy drive to all the Austin hotspots! Well stocked and very comfy place with a cool balcony overlooking downtown. Would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Austin.

Great experience
The condo was nice and clean when we got there. The ac was on when we got in and we were definitely thankful. There are a lot of stairs (up to the third floor and then a winding staircase up to the bedroom) that made it hard to lug and maneuver heavy suitcases. The location was so close to Barton Springs it was fantastic and there is a small convenient store right next to the condo that we visited every night :) Great wine and beer were sold there too, which was a bonus. The condo is a little farther than we expected from restaurants and shopping and there is not a bus route near the condo (major oversight of ours) but overall, it was a great place and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful home get-away with a great host
I had booked a place on Airbnb and the host had cancelled the reservation last minute. Sean responded to my frantic messages right away and made room for us last minute. When we arrived to the place we were so surprised by how beautiful the place was. The pictures really don't do it justice. We will definitely be back!

Great place! Great location!
Loved Sean's Barton Springs condo! It was just as described - quiet and cozy and a convenient walk to lots of places. When going into town, many days we walked down to Uncle Bills Brewery where there was a B-Cycle stop and rode bikes about 15 minutes into the city. So easy! The Barton Springs pool was very, very easy to get to. The condo itself was clean and comfortable. There is a market right next door which made getting essential items very easy. We also used a grocery store delivery service app to get Whole Foods delivered. Really loved the place and if we travel to Austin again I will definitely rent here again!
