Big house

Quoted a 5 bedroom but only 4 with an additional sleeping area in one of the lounge rooms

the location could not have been better, it was great. the house was also very big and spacious.

the house was not in a clean state when we arrived, cobwebs and dust everywhere. the overall presentation of the house is below expectations when considering the price. carpets are stained etc. whist we knew there was no linen or towels we were expecting: hand towels bath mats tea towels kitchen cloth to wipe bench kitchen scrubber to clean dishes. none of the above were provided which is astounding given the nightly price. when we arrive the recycle bin was already full and there was general waste in the green bin.

Great size, layout of bedrooms and living spaces excellent. We appreciated the pool table and table tennis. Great location to access the beach. The staff managing the booking were excellent. Great collection of books.

Requirement to provide own linen wasn't clear on the booking site. Some beds weren't clean - stained and full of crumbs. Limited provision of toiletries. Kitchen was a bit disorganised, limited glassware, utensils, pots and pans all over the place. It felt like I was borrowing a mate's holiday house instead of staying in a holiday rental where the owners take pride in presenting the property in an inviting way.

Really great place for large group. Spacious with plenty of rooms and beds. The table tennis table and pool tables were a great addition (although BYO paddles and cues recommended). Kitchen good, lots of utensils, and a few items like pepper and oil in the cupboard. Walking distance to the beach was handy. Would recommend to others, and stay again if visiting Inverloch.

Not really much at all. You cannot really walk into centre of town, but for us that was not a problem. Few house items (e.g. couch, table tennis paddles, pool cues) a little worn, but also expected. Good value for money overall.

Lovely house, beds very comfortable. While we were there it was very peaceful and relaxing.

Need current instructions how to use equipment. We couldn't light log heater at all and was cold on first night. Central heating kept switching off after only about 10 minutes. Hot water service went cold after first shower. Going cold before able to rinse off even if at night or morning. No leaflet to show how to use oven. Microwave hard to see and work out how to use. Lots of chipped dishes, especially cups. Lack of bedside lights.
