Quiet, clean, lots of cooking utensils, spacious yard and home.

Mike was professional and quick response for any question…has very large yard/property for our dog to run-cottage was comfy/cozy & also a good size within…overall it helped make our stay in the area very enjoyable! thank-you

It was comfortable and pleasant..

My cousin and I had took families to stay at the cottage, which was the perfect size for us, and it was outfitted with everything to make it a walk-in home for the weekend. The location was great, with enough stuff within a few minutes drive or even just walking distance to keep everyone entertained. Just a few minutes from the beach, boardwalk shops, carousel park, and the popcorn stand (I'm in the wrong business after seeing how many people stopped there) just across the street. There is a DG, produce market, and Topps close by so you can get whatever you need and you don't have to worry about packing a big cooler to take on your trip. The back yard was very big and has plenty of room for kids to play ball or whatever they want. Everyone enjoyed their stay and were all talking about coming back before we even left.

Our family loved our stay at the La Vida cottage. We were so close to Lake Ontario, Niagara Falls and many other wonderful family attractions. The cottage fit our family perfectly. With the large yard, privacy and location we couldn’t have stayed in a more perfect vacation home. Thanks for a great stay!

LaVida Cottage was so wonderful! The cottage itself was cozy and provided everything our family needed. My children loved playing in the huge yard and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The host, Mike, was always available and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed. I would absolutely stay at LaVida Cottage again!

The property was just as it was advertised. The cottage worked well for our group of guys. I wish we were able to enjoy the back yard more because it looked like a great place to relax. We would definitely recommend checking out LaVida Cottage if you are looking to stay in the area.

My wife and I enjoyed our 4-night stay in mid-September. The cottage was cozy and comfortable; and it provided all the essentials we needed. The large back yard was perfect for our dogs. The location was very conveniently located for our varied day trips.

This property is a short walk to all the attractions in Olcott and has a sprawling back yard. The description is true to the rental.

We enjoyed the huge back yard, watching people line up for popcorn (which I think we spent the most money on) the Labor Day weekend car show was huge, the littles loved the splash pad and playground at Krull park. Littles also enjoyed the rides. The cottage was perfect for our size group and parking was pleasant. There were a lot of spiders around but it’s what you get in a country setting. The fire pit was nice and private. The tall ones in the group only complained about the shower, but we were told about the past owner and her height and the beautiful garden she used to have. We enjoyed the spot and our littles (2 and 4) LOVED the idea of a bunk bed. The back bedroom is perfect for mom and dad and two kids. We felt like we could have our own privacy at night with my parents staying in the other bedroom. We highly recommend it to anyone. Wellsville NY family

Plenty of space for our group of 5. Very quick drive to the town launch/ marina for fishing access. Large driveway/ yard for activities.

This is a great property and lovely owner who obviously takes good care of the property.

Renting process was smooth, easy. On the first day I lost my phone in a Chicago Uber with all rental info, phone #s, access code, etc. Mike was very helpful when contacted by my sister who lives nearby. We enjoyed our stay. It was as advertised.

Quaint little cottage secluded by the trees from everything around it. Perfect little getaway cottage. We loved it. Owner was accommodating and great.

The property is expensive if you bring your family. The description states the house holds 6 but you have to pay $25 per person on top of the rate. There are nicer places with better accommodations for that rate.

My family (husband, five yr old and 15 yr old dog) and I rented the cabin for a long weekend. This summer with Covid I’m never sure what to pack. Wish I would have known to bring coffee filters, salt, pepper. Things like that. And the noise from the road was surprisingly loud, woke us up while sleeping in the front room a few times. Wasn’t expecting that. But other than that it was the most wonderful, rustic get away for our family. My daughter really enjoyed the tire swing and fires! Thank you so much for all your hospitality. PS You have the most wonderful sheets!

Owner did a wonderful job making the place clean and welcoming. Nice bonfirepit and large yard. Enjoyed the little time we were in the cottage. One issue: price is advertised as $110 but when you get through check out and pay for a cleaning fee and taxes your final cost is $169.40. Probably not the owner's fault, but total cost should be more upfront.
