Fresh OJ would have been great at breakfast. Our stay was too short.

Excellent venue, we had one of purpose-built conversions in an old house, ours was on the top floor with 30+ stairs to the front door. The room was well-presented with a boutique feel. Toiletries were from Cow Shed and there is an opulent golden theme to the decor with some obvious thought put into the furnishings. Kettle and Nespresso-style coffee maker available together with fridge/minibar. Breakfast provided outdoors by a nearby restaurant on an "all you can eat" self-service basis was excellent with a good range of choices. Coffees from a dispenser machine rather than barrista-made. The location is not on the water-front but deeper into the old town which is a bonus as the tall buildings prevent the direct heat from the harbour at the middle of the day. One tiny down-side there's already some water-damage evident in the shower-base that needs attention. I'm guessing not the fault of the designer though. Would stay here again without hesitation, it's a great location for exploring what Rovinj offers.

The hotel had a lot of personality. We loved our room, the bar, the location, everything. On one of our nights there was amazing live music, the staff were all incredibly nice and our room was full of little gems of thoughtfulness. We’d come back anytime ☺️

The property is in a good location in old town. The staff weee consistently friendly and helpful. The restaurant that provides breakfast has an excellent buffet..

One has to turn sideways to cross the end of the bed.My 35ft boat has a bigger cabin than the room in this place and I don't have to climb very steep stairs. If you dream of being hidden in the attic, this is the place for you.

Every detail of the property is well thought and done with consideration for convenience. Kudos to the owners Adrian and Lea who have done the utmost guests to feel at home.

As the Melegran is located in the Old City, it has no lift in the property. This should be made known to people with movement disabilities as they won’t be able to climb the stairs 4-5 floors

Such a cute beautiful hotel, perfectly located in the city.

We were in the room above reception so it was a little noisy but nothing really. I imagine if the bar in reception was busy it would have been louder.

the location was fantastic, in a quiet corner of the old town. the rooms were super clean, new and quirky. having breakfast in the square outside was romantic accompanied by a home made breakfast accoutrements. even for vegans which can be a challenge in Italy.

the room was quite small but lots of hanging space the beach bag and hats provided made up for it.

Liked it all. Would be hard to get to the top floors if not in good health. So if any physical issues, would need a bottom floor. (No Elevator.)

Long way to travel to a beach that had reasonable priced sunbeds. I think the hotel could have included bike use without charging, should be included in price of hotel as hotel is quite expensive for the size of the room we had

Breakfast was good, restaurant close by and offered a wide choice. Location was fantastic although Rovinj does have steep climbs and potentially slippery cobble stones. (Not the hotel's fault!) Staff always very helpful.

Because this is an old building the stairs in the property are steep - particularly the first set. The second and third floors are not so bad. I think that the description of the hotel on the booking.com website might make this clearer. My husband and I are in our 70s and were a bit puffed by the time we reached the top floor. However I noticed two members of staff were equally challenged and they were half our age! To be fair we were offered a change of room after the first night but we declined as we had already partially unpacked and thought it good to put us through our paces.

This property is conveniently located in the heart of old town - it is accessible to cafes, restaurants and the beach.

quaint and curated well

the shower leaked, we told management. they came to fix it while we were having breakfast the morning of checkout approx 9 am. when we came back from breakfast they had relocated our bags to reception which wasn’t open yet and cleaners were in our room. we were not suppose to be out yet, we now couldn’t brush our teeth, go to the bathroom etc. it was very weird and not right!

rooms were nice and staff very helpful. breakfast was nice a restaurant around the corner.

didn’t like the stairs though we had help going up.

Our room was decent sized, the bathroom was great and it had a nice contemporary feel. It also felt very safe and secure. We appreciated the reserved parking option and shuttle service and luggage handling to/from the parking lot to the hotel. The hotel is very well situated in the old town of Rovinj and easily accessible to many great restaurants and wondering around.

The room we stayed in, seemed to be in an "overflow" part of the hotel, down a side alley. We did not feel like we were apart of the actual hotel (good and bad.) The room was not very sound proof at all, so we hear neighbors all night long. The parking lot they use is a bit tricky to find at first, but luckily just walking around from where we thought it was, we weer able to locate the right lot.

The property was in a good location. Nice, cozy room. Breakfast at nearby cafe had a great selection.

It was difficult to find the parking garage even with detailed instructions. They need a better sign or landmark for this. The insulation is very poor, we could hear conversations in room above us. I made the hotel aware of our arrival time, however the parking Shuttle bus was not there for our arrival on a rainy day. We had to walk a distance on wet, slick cobblestone streets with all our luggage. We didn’t even hear an apology from the owners about this.

The most beautiful small boutique hotel. Every little detail was so well thought out and unique. Great location, we will definitely be back.
