Our vacation was wonderful!!! This is the first time we have ever rented a condo and our first time to Ft Walton. Brooks & Shorey Resorts, Inc. did not disappoint! Everything was consistent with the previously provided descriptions, pictures, & terms. The property is very clean & well maintained - even during construction. We will definitely be back!!!

Great condo and amenities for our family. Unfortunate construction maintenance taking place during busy season was LOUD and we were on the 5th floor! I can’t imagine what the lower floors dealt with. They should do this on off season. Otherwise, stay was great.

Perfect space for the entire family. It is hard to find three full bathrooms and a space to have two bunkbeds that aren't crammed into a tiny space. Each room is generous in size, with plenty of chairs for the dining area and the living room. The Islander is our favorite place to visit on Okaloosa Island with a large pool and quieter beach area.

Loved our condo at the Islander - 5003. Super clean and spacious. The entire property is well maintained and staff is super friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend booking with this company and would definitely return!

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Islander. Our accommodations were just what we needed with beautiful Gulf of Mexico views. The white sand beach was amazing and Ian, our beach attendant, was outstanding! Condo in low-key area, but close to restaurants, grocery store and more. Looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful place- everything was great. The unit air conditioning broken, warm inside. Hannah took the phone call and was extremely helpful and very professional. Ac company equally professional ! Unfortunately, we had a sick kid inside and felt a little awkward with having someone in the unit because it did take him all day to fix. I feel like someone should check during cleaning that all that is in working order. Especially since you check in so late on the first day.
But honestly- Hannah was fantastic.

This is our 10th. Season spending quality time relaxing and rejuvenating down in FWB FL. We have enjoyed the last two years at excellent headquartersin the Islander 5003 very much. The property is clean and well maintained. We commend the owner for providing fine new washer and dishwasher and living room couch for convenience and comfort this winter. Brooks and Shorey have been very attentive to our needs while here Jan. Feb. And Mar. We have recommended them to other snowbirds for their great service. We are fortunate for restaurants close by like Stewbys fish house on Santa Rosa and German Wursthaus on Miracle Strip Pky. We love how close we are to First Baptist Church ⛪️ here worshiping with wonderful friends weekly. We are very happy here.

Though circumstances were difficult…family burial…broken ankle…we truly enjoyed our stay! So much so that plans were being made before we even left! Family is important to us! It was just what we all needed!

Overall, this is a great condo and will definitely return to it. It is very spacious for our family of 7, and plenty of beds. A couple of thoughts to better accommodate future guests, kitchen is not well stocked with utensils. Dishwasher needs updating. Found the coffee table had a broken leg when tried to move it to use sofa bed, and arm of dinning room chair is broken. Also, carpet in living room needed to be vacuumed.

Room was nice if you have a large family. Not near enough kitchen equipment/utensils for cooking. Master bedroom matress is hard as a rock and really should have better curtains to keep light out.

Beautiful condo, location perfect for reading books, listening to the waves, and the balcony cover keeps dry even in a storm. Be careful going from inside to balcony. The threshold is much taller than you expect. We got in a habit of laughing while saying "UP UP"! It's a toe stumping kind of threshold. It's main purpose is to keep the home sealed during storms/hurricanes. We put a red object in front of it to remind us to step high. It could use glow in the dark caution on it.
UP UP is now a fun reminder of our great vacation!

Property is very nice. The view is great.
The only issue we had was the oven was not working. Found out this was a known problem that was not fixed. Also, dishwasher missing roller on bottom tray. Did not always release soap and clean dishes.
Stove was replaced after I called.

Very pleased with the area the condo was in. The condo was one of the cleanest I have been in. Plenty of room. The children’s books were a hit with the 1 year old. Only suggestion would be to upgrade the bathroom shower fixtures. Not much pressure.

We had an amazing time. The view was BEAUTIFUL. We love 5003 the pictures doesn't do it justice. I also loved that it had a bathroom in each bedroom. Comes in handy with daughters lol. We will definitely be back. The weather was beautiful on day 1 and not too bad on the last few days. Can't wait to come back.

First of all let me say the layout of this condo is fabulous for a family of 7. We all had our privacy and plenty of room while we were in the condo. The only thing I would say is it needs new couches. The pull out couch that was advertised was broken and we had to call Brooks and Shorey who quickly brought us a roll away bed. Overall we LOVED the condo and would reccommend renting this condo.
