We had a great time at this house. We had a very broad age range and a good time was had by all. The lake access and the location on the lake was great. Lots of deer to feed and lots of fun activities close by. We will definitely be back!

The property was perfect for my large family. There were 15 people ranging in age from 5-70. The location is perfect for launching boat. The yard and back porch were wonderful for everyone to hang out. The management company was wonderful, we had an issue and they were on top of it. The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. My only disappointment was getting to the water. It is farther than it looks in the picture and a little steeper from the trees to the water. My mom is 70 and has a fused foot. She could walk down there but it was difficult, because of this she didn't get down there with the family as much as she wanted. I rented a golf cart once we arrived and realized it would be hard for her. The homeowners would not allow her to have a golf cart to get to the water. The said no motorized vehicle, even though I assured them she would stay on the path. The path is shared for the most part with the neighbors and they had a golf cart going back and forth to the water. I just wanted to make someone aware of this before they rent, if they might have a similar situation. Other than this issue, I would recommend this property.

Location is amazing, house is dated and dirty. I would not allow my 1 year old to crawl on the floors. We asked to check in 30 minutes early, and were denied. We were told the right side of the path to the water was for this property, however they rented this side out for a large event on a Saturday night that brought in over 300 people. Our boat and belongings were at the lake, and we were not able to use the "lake front" area as described that night, due to the influx of people. Lastly they charged my card for the cleaning of couches in the upstairs loft, and stated our party stained them. We are not sure how the stains got there, and or if they were there prior to us checking in. But we do know the couches look to be 20+ years old. They denied using the $69 damage fee coverage and charged our card over $400 for the cleaning of these old couches, when the damage fee coverage states it covers up to $1500. The location is amazing, however the experience and customer service with this property management company is terrible. Owner's should switch companies immediately.

This property was perfect for us. The living room upstairs is where the teens hung out, while the adults cooked and hung out downstairs and on the porch. We brought our boat and the boat ramp is next door! So great! Bring water shoes though. We had some cuts. We had fun taking everyone in the master bathroom because it's SO big! We have this house on our favorites because we anticipate staying again.

Good property location, clean, big and spacious.

Plenty of room for our family of 18. We loved being right on the water and the convenience of the boat ramp next door. Enjoyed the deer that would visit us daily and they loved the sack of corn that we fed them. We cooked every day and enjoyed our family time together. We would definitely stay here again.

Our group had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house exceeded expectation when it came to space and proximity to nearby activities, and we loved the location on the lake! We hope to visit again soon!

Great House

Very comfortable! Lots of extras like coffee filters, detergents, cleaning supplies, spices etc were left for our use which was great. Excellent customer service by property manager Gwen!

We celebrated a 70th birthday and a farewell to our son who is deploying for 9 months. We had 16 people for 3 nights - everyone had plenty of room, the kitchen was the perfect size for all the "cooks", beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean, very well equipped. It was a most enjoyable weekend, ended too soon!

We rented this house for our annual Thanksgiving on the lake after the last house we used sold. As much as the old home held dear memories for us, this place was absolutely perfect! Everything was exactly as advertised and had plenty of room for our large group. The lodge next door is just steps away for additional rooms. I can't say enough good things about this home! Thank you to the owners for making it available!

Booked the house through Amz Getaways and the staff was incredibly responsive, patient and helpful answering questions about the property and location ahead of our stay. We had 4 families on our trip with kiddos from 6 to 15. The day of our arrival the house was on a turn around from another large group but they were still able to get us into the house half an hour ahead of the established check in time. There was a minor problem with the septic system, but the staff was very apologetic and responsive to our concern. They had the issue corrected promptly and it was not an issue again during our stay. The house is well appointed with ample room for multiple families to spread out and enjoy all that Canyon Lake has to offer. The views of the dam and lake are amazing and the lot is HUGE. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The real draw is the lake though. We anchored our boats right off the peninsula and floated the days away while enjoying Turkey Cove for skiing and tubing. We also floated the lower Guadalupe one day. All the lower Guadalupe has to offer is just minutes away. There is AMPLE parking for boats and vehicles at the property and the best part is the public launch is right next to the property. The kids enjoyed feeding the deer and the older folks were able to just unwind and enjoy lazy days in the Texas hill country. Really can't say enough about how much fun we had and how stress free our stay was. Already booking another trip!
