Great location, perfectly clean, and has everything you need and some things you wouldn't have thought of - down to binoculars and a birding guide. Great touches throughout, and a perfect size for a couple days away with my husband. The only "issue" we had was running out of foil, and the host immediately responded and supplied more. No complaints whatsoever. Thank you for a great stay!

I stayed here for a little quiet weekend by myself. It was perfect. The property is gorgeous, and it was so nice and quiet, I was able to catch up on a lot of reading. I loved that it was a short walk over to the steps up the mountain - it just added to the beauty and peacefulness. The owners were easy to communicate with, and provided everything I could have needed. Beautiful place!

This comfortable efficiency apartment is a perfect place for a couples stay. The host has made an effort to include everything you need. The property has wonderful outdoor space and a beautiful sunrise view of Wimberley. The balcony table is perfect for morning coffee while listening to the birds and wind chimes. Only one important consideration, you must be able to negotiate steps and a driveway incline to enjoy this beautiful space. We took advantage of the Old Baldy trail to climb to the the highest point in Wimberley. It was a challenge but we were rewarded with a magnificent 360 degrees view. Definitely a place to return to next time we visit hill country.

The place was perfect for just the two of us. Everything was very clean and they thought of everything as far as having things on hand you may have forgotten at home. The property is beautiful with really nice relaxing areas to hang out, and is walking distance from Old Baldy, a really cool place to walk up stairs to the top of the hill and see all the views the hill country has to offer. The property is also just a few minutes outside Wimberly square, so if that’s your destination, it takes you no time to drive there. AC, water, noise level, property owners are all exceptional. We will definitely stay here again!

Comfortable, clean, welcoming, beautiful accommodations. Located in a perfect spot, not too close and not too far from town. Surrounded by many outdoor activities. The weekend surpassed our expectations. Previous comments stated that the host thought of everything......they truly did!

Extremely clean. Nice view of surroundings. Close to downtown yet in secluded area feels like out in the country. Nice roads for walks. Friendly owners arrived with bottle of wine.

The pictures and description of this property was 100% right on. Suzzy is very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. I would definitely chose to stay here again if I were close to the area.

Property was exactly as listed and the location was perfect. Check-in and out process was very easy and the property had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. Whenever we come back to wimberly we will look to stay here again.

My husband and I came here for a time of reflection on the past year and to plan for 2023. This spot was perfect. There was a panoramic view of the hills from the front porch. The room was clean, nicely decorated and equipped with everything we could want. Suzzy was very responsive to all our inquiries. Old Baldy (prayer mountain) is just steps away. 8 minutes to downtown square.

loved it . I will return. Suzzy was one of the most interesting individuals I have ever met. 5 stars in every way.........loved the theater chairs , and all the extras provided by the host.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the Mt. Baldy Nest. Our hosts thought of just about everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Hopefully the weather will be better next time so we can enjoy the outdoor area a bit more.

Well supplied and equipped for a great stay, including candles and a lighter for sitting outside. The welcoming bottle of wine was really nice also.

Definently THE SPOT for couples, very intament with gorgeous views! The places in the town are great , town square is nice, everything this place and area has to offer is well worth the drive!

This beautiful garage apartment is even better than the pictures. You know how a lot of people post pictures that are enhanced and the place looks better in pictures? Well Mt Baldy’s Nest was even better than enhanced pictures. Everything was quality and it looks like it is newly renovated. They did not use cheap materials. It was nicer than many nice hotels I’ve stayed at and I’ve stayed at quite a few over the years. The price was amazing for what is provided. Suzy didn’t miss a thing. She thought of everything that a traveler might need or want to have a relaxing stay; comfy bed, lots of pillows, cotton waffle robes, extra cozy blankets which we used down at the wonderful fire pit, perfectly stocked kitchen, a bottle of wine and chocolate to welcome you, sparkling water to drink, a serene sleep machine, many movies, two great comfy recliners, remote everything, and don’t even ask how great that shower was! Large enough for two with seating around with amazing water press. The decks were just perfect too! Three of them and even though Suzy and her husband live in the house next door, there was privacy. The wind chimes were deep toned and just beautiful. We saw deer in the back yard. The view was spectacular from the upper deck where we had morning coffee. This is the perfect place for a couple to relax and unwind and Wimberley is just a few minutes away and such a neat town. I highly recommend this beautiful place to relax and unwind. The area was dry but with some rain, this place would be even more beautiful. Thank you Suzy for a great stay!

My wife and I stayed here visiting family in the area, the view as soon as you climb the stairs to the living area is amazing. As soon as you walk in, your greeted with an incredibly clean area with anything you could need, a kitchen area, a very comfortable bed, 2 recliners for the TV area, a full sized fridge and a dining area. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay, Suzzy and Eoin were very easy to communicate with. One note for people not familiar with the area, the roads around Mt Baldy are very narrow, so be prepared for some tight turns and pulling off if someone else is coming the other direction

Lovely property that is cozy and beautiful, very close to Wimberley and everything the town offers. Great view and the hosts give you privacy but are close by if you need anything and have thought of every amenity to make your stay clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back!

This place was perfect! It was nice, clean, and had amazing views! Property manager was awesome! If you drive around to the other side of Mt. Baldy, you can walk up to the top and watch the sun set! It was beautiful!! I’ll definitely stay here again, if I’m back in the area!! Thank you for the awesome stay!!

Mt. Baldy Nest is a wonderful place to stay in Wimberley. The unit is well appointed with everything you need for a getaway. It's close to downtown restaurants, shopping, and activities. I would definitely stay here again.

This is the most "user-friendly" property I have ever stayed at. Both the check-in and check-out process were easy-breezy, everything in the unit was notated and explained, and they've provided any thing you could possibly need and then some - a bottle of wine of your choice and pick your own movies! Suzzy could teach a master class in hosting.

Everything you could ask for in a peaceful getaway! We loved it! All necessities were provided and then some. The hosts really went above and beyond to make it the best experience we have had in a long time! We will be back!

This home is quiet and beautiful, lots of deer and birds to enjoy. It’s very close to town but still quiet and secluded. We loved everything about it!
