This is a really fantastic 2 bedroom rental just minutes away from the square but super quiet in the evenings. The outdoor fireplace is a great way to spend the evening and the host put in those extra touches that are really great like a firestarter log, soaps/shampoos/extra towels, and the like. We weren't able to use the hottub during our stay but it looked great. For two couples I don't know if there's a better option in Fredericksburg; close to everything, room to stretch out in the rental, really nice large bedrooms, a great semi-private outdoor space (shared with the adjoining rental), and an attentive host. :)

This property had it all. Space, location. beautiful decor, well stocked and a perfect host.

We went for a girls trip and loved every minute of the stay. Host was very receptive and the location is walking distance to main street. The home was furnished beautifully and the beds were so comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!

Girl’s weekend… perfect location. Very responsive and kind owner who left us a lovely charcuterie board and mimosas for a welcome gift. Nice comfy beds. Loved everything about house and outdoor patio area. We’d highly recommend. :) .

Upon entering the courtyard, we knew we had entered a special place. The home itself has been updated and beautifully decorated, and the owner obviously has a great touch for style. The primary bedroom is spacious, the bed was indulgent as were the linens. The bed was over the top comfortable. We did have access to the 2nd bedroom that we utilized for extra closet space. The decor was just as lovely as the primary bedroom. I was abundantly clear the owner has put so much consideration to her guests' needs. There was an abundance of bath towels, towels for the hot tub, make-up mirrors (2), hair dryers (2), disposable sandals to use while accessing and leaving the hot tub, and other touches. Overall we were very impressed The property location is convenient, a short walk to local shopping and dining. During our visit the coffee maker stopped working, sent a text to the owner, and within a short few hours there was a new coffee maker for our use. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had about the property. The big questions: Would we stay at this property again? Yes, absolutely Would we recommend this property to friends, family, and colleagues? Yes, absolutely

We were running late, but the host coordinated and met us, super nice and communication was on spot. Supper kind, left us champagne and a charcuterie board for our anniversary. Highly recommend! Awesomely decorated, great patio and hot tub with Everything you might need. Hated to leave, but we will be back!

We booked a 2 bedroom as described. We only had access to 1 bedroom, the other was locked. Did not relize that the house was split into a 2 units that we had to share (read the fine print), for a couple that likes privacy, this was uncomfortable. The one bathroom is so small. The shower is not built for a 6'6" man, and there was no counter space to put your belongings. We had to put them on the floor. The house had a mildew smell, and we saw a mouse in the kitchen. On the bright side, it was in a good location, the orange juice, water & cheese tray (which we did not eat) was a nice touch. The hot tub was enjoyable, if not for the fact that additonal guests could show up at any time (which they did). For over $400 a night, I believe we should expect a refund for the second bedroom they locked us out of. Would not book again.

Incredibly thoughtful knowing we were coming in for a birthday celebration. Loved all the extra’s provided. We will return.

The house was perfect for a weekend getaway girls trip. Perfect location, about 5 min walk to main st. Shelly was a great host! Easy to communicate with. House was very clean and beds were very comfortable. She even provided us with champagne, juice, and cheese board. Can’t wait to return!

Crockett Street Retreat will be our Fredericksburg, home away from home every time we visit and are able to book! This beautifully decorated, fully equipped cottage is in a prime location yet far enough away from Main St that one does not hear any noise. The owner is a most gracious host who has carefully thought of everything to accommodate her guests.

Wonderful location close to everything. Guys took rental car for afternoon of golfing while girls walked two blocks to day of shopping and lunch. great home with numerous conversation areas fro The front porch to a rustic Texas stone fireplace for evening cocktails to kick off our shoes.

We had a great time celebrating our wedding anniversary in this luxurious b&b. Centrally located to everything we had planned to do. Great restaurant recommendations too. Highly recommend
