We had the best cozy fall weekend! This cottage is in a beautiful location & has everything to feel like you’re at home. Communication with the property owner was excellent. We would definitely come back!

The cottage is well maintained and is fine for 4 adults. The walk down to the dock should have a safety rail as it is on a stone walk and steep. The bathroom toilet is not built for anyone over 5 foot 10 inches due to location. The owner is very accommodating and the cottage is well supplied. My only beef is the $500 hold on our credit card which has not yet been removed bt VRBO.

Debra’s cottage was beautiful! There has been many updates done to the cottage since the last photos were taken and it was a very pleasant surprise! The deck overlooking the water was a key hangout spot for us, especially with all the seating and canopy to protect us from the mosquitoes! We enjoyed getting to use the kayaks, row boat and pedal boat. We also loved how centrally located the cottage was - very close to town for all the essentials and close to multiple hikes we got to do! Would definitely stay here again!

Small and very cozy cottage overlooking the water. The deck is nice and large that allows for some sunbathing during the early afternoon hours. Lots of baots available (canoe, kayaks, peddle). Highly recommend!

Staying at this cottage was lovely. The fireplace was ready to be used and enjoyed! The cottage warmed up nicely, and was very cozy and clean. Would come again!

This property is right on the lake and has everything you need for a short or long getaway. It feels secluded even with neighbours right next store. It's only 10 minutes away from the closest town and a quick drive from Toronto. The owner was very helpful and communicative. We would happily visit again!

Great waterway from 12 mile though to Boshkong. Very nice deck and waterfront area including good dock and lake views. Excellent location close to Minden. Well equipped and size of kitchen and living room.

We loved our stay here! The cottage was so warm and welcoming and all the cottage Knick knacks were very cool. 12 Mile Lake is a large, calm lake with many other nice cottages on it. It also connects to a couple other lakes which made boating really fun! Debra made checking in and out very easy and was super accommodating. Overall we had a fantastic stay and we would definitely come back! Thanks Debra!

Very easy process, cabin was clean, modern, Debra, the hostess was very helpful with all our needs and questions. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed. We had an excellent experience!!

The cabin is clean and nice. We had a very nice time. We have plans to come this summer.

We rented this lovely cottage with our daughter and her husband to celebrate Thanksgiving. The area was just stunning with all the fall colours and there were lots of places to go for long walks near by. The cottage was clean and cozy and is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. If the weather had co-operated we would have used the boats included in the rental but we were still able to enjoy the beautiful views from the deck which overlook the lake. Debra was a great host and very quick to respond to any messages. We would definitely stay at this cottage again!

Lovely location and views. We had fun walking and exploring around the lake, even to the handy convenience store nearby. It was very close to several good restaurants as well. It has been renovated since the pictures so it was even better than we expected. The bathroom was a little cramped, but the beds were comfy.

Pros:We stayed in this cute little cottage in September. As always, the cottage was smaller than the online pictures represent, but more than enough room for the two of us. The cottage was spotlessly clean, also. The setting was magical, with a wonderful view overlooking the lake from above and all the beautiful stonework with stairs to the lake. The water looked excellent for swimming...clear and quite weed-free. There are an abundance of amenities...the most we've had...with a canoe, kayaks, paddleboard, paddleboat AND aluminum boat! The location was great...very close to town, but nice and private with good shade. Hostess was great! Cons: A lot of knicknacks made it hard to put your own things on the coffee table and table, etc. Also, hardly any room for our food in the cupboards. But, we would definitely return here again!

My twin 7 year olds and I had an amazing stay at this gem. We had so much do with Kayaks, paddle boats, a calm and stunning lake, 2 docks, a firepit. The cottage was adorable and had everything you could ever need. We absolutely loved everything about this place and will return.

I wanted a cottage for mine & my partners anniversary. We’re 3 hours away from the property so the amount of snow that we get doesn’t compare to what was up North. Being a couple that loves the snow, this cottage couldn’t be anymore perfect. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful, beautiful views, & a beautiful location. I couldn’t have picked a better cottage for my partner & I. Debra was amazing during this process. She made sure we arrived okay, kept in contact with us the whole trip. 10/10 cottage. (Feb 19-21)

Debra was great to deal with before and during our stay. Everything was as promised and she was there to greet us on arrival and help us get settled in. The cottage is a cozy spot and I highly recommend it! We were there in the winter and there were lovely trails and a never ending supply of wood for the stove. The view of the lake is beautiful and I can only imagine it would be a great spot in the summer too.

To start my 2021 off right, I booked this cottage for almost a week in early Jan. It was exactly what I was looking for - picturesque view overlooking the lake, beautiful xc ski trails in the surrounding area and places to walk nearby. The wifi was good enough to enable me to work remotely from there as well. The owner, Deb, was extremely responsive and the place very well stocked (she had even prepped kindling for the wood stove!). All in all, a lovely experience and I will definitely return. THANK YOU! This stay was absolutely amazing! The cottage is recently renovated, so it has some great amenities and features in it. The view in the morning was spectacular, it's exactly what we wanted when we said we needed to get away from the city. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a weekend/week away from the city life and a breath of fresh air.
