It was my second stay there and I hope to come back again. Everything was perfect. The hostel is very good located in Praia. My room was clean and comfortable. Filipa from the Reception is very kind and helpful person.

Royal Beach is a great location, really the best value for its price and nice decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful to wait for me when my check-in time ran later than expected (good communication!), though after check-in I never saw anyone again. That was ok, I didn't need to, and you are able to come and go as you please with the key card (and they gave me a number in case I needed to get in touch with someone.). Parking on the street was really easy, though you have to pay at the meters from 8am to 4 or 5pm (it is not expensive and in the nearby marina there is free parking if you don't mind the walk). Lots of restaurant options nearby, and the beach and boardwalk are literally right in front.

I had a nice spacious room with very stylish decor, but it was on the ground floor, with the sidewalk right outside the windows, so I did not feel like I could open the curtains, which I prefer to do. I also heard other guests coming in and out the front door early in the morning, since I was right behind the reception, and more noise from cars driving past the windows. It was not that big of a deal, as I was only there one night and was traveling by myself for work, so I didn't worry to much about it, but next time I would probably request a room on an upper floor, especially if I was going to be spending more time in the room.

Very clean hostel with big private bathroom inside the room. Staff is very friendly. The kitchen is quite well-equipped. It has good location, next to the beach, near market and super market and many restaurants.

The room and bed are quite small.

The staff was very friendly, and the hostel is really clean and new. Before I stayed here, I read a lot of negative comments about the breakfast, but actually it was pretty good: we got a sandwich or a croissant with ham and cheese, a juice, yogurt, piece of fruit and as much coffee or tee as you want.

A great place to stay in Praia. I really enjoyed my stay and the hostel is great value for money including towels and breakfast. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is great. Free parking can be found nearby. I can totally recommend this place!

The only bad thing is that I only stayed 1 night.

Good breakfast and very nice terrace and sitting area inside. The place is spotless, free ground coffee and a great kitchen. All just a few steps from the beach, two in fact as there is another one just behind the yachts!

Difficult to do better, except that there is not so much space for your stuff in the dorm. But with Covid they are only occupied at 50%

The location is very nice, you can park your scooter for free and the coffee is free.

Everyone is very private, it has more a hotel atmosphere than a hostel. Breakfast not so good and no vegetarian option, even had one day where my breakfast was already gone. You can't leave your stuff in the kitchen or fridge because it will disappear. Had a lot of noice disturbance in the middle of the night from a group of guests on the top floor.

The location was perfect (justin front of Victoria's beach) and the room was big, comfy and amazing decoration. The girl at the reception desk was super nice and a breakfast was prepared earlier for me.

The room was in the ground floor in front of the road and I could hear the cars outside. Inside it was near the commom kitchen and I could also hear the other guests in the morning and at night.

This hostel is way, way better than many hotels! And I'm not talking about low budget hotels, but in general. The room (for a couple, with bathroom) is very spacious, well-decorated, with large windows, AC, etc. The hostel has a nice kitchen with an open area. Easy parking nearby. I highly recommend this place if you come to Terceira.

The location is great, just a few steps from the beach and some bars. The rooms have nice decor.

No service at all, we saw someone at the reception just at the checkin and a few times more. No amenities (not even some shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom). No room cleaning in 3 days. Due to Covid the breakfast was just a small bag with a poor sandwich, an orange, a juice, a bad yogurt and a sweet snack. It would all be ok, but not for the price of the room.

The hostel is very nice designed on wonderful location. Great price-quality value. Staff was very kind and helpful. Everything was clean, comfortable. We can definitely recommend it.

Small rooms but very fair for the price. Not very helping for our early departure with taxi.
