The apartment features pleasantly comfortable and minimal decor with impeccable Grecian summer flair for you to live your Greek summer holiday fantasy against the blue backdrop of the breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Messinian Bay. The breakfast was a true feast with a bounty of complementary local treats from the rustic bread to the dried figs - the families own branded product, traditional Greek molasses cookies, and Messinian crunchy fried dough rings (to name just a few), topped by generous samples of packaged kalamata olives and extra virgin olive oil for some in home cooking for those inspired by the olive grove setting and a fully equipped kitchen. At night you can enjoy the cool breeze and lights of Kalamata below on the spacious balcony before going to sleep on amazingly comfortable beds promising a great night's sleep and pleasant dreams of the day to come.

We only wish our apartment were available for more days since we wanted to extend our stay.

The accommodation looks exactly like in the pictures. The minute we walked in, the cleanliness was noticeable. The kitchen's fully equipped. When I saw the Nespresso machine I was already looking forward to my first cup. On the dining table there are welcome local snacks/goodies..very nice touch. The refrigerator's filled with stuff you can prepare yourself for breakfast and is refilled daily. There's also a daily housekeeping as well as fresh change of towels. Though there's no reception like in a hotel, the owner Nadia, responds quick and her mom who let us in when we checked-in lives just next door. When we come back to Kalamata we'll stay again in this property.

The owner is meticulous. Everything is high quality and brand new. The room has everything you need and then some. Fantastic balcony and view. Comfy beds and pillows. Security measures are of a high standard as is everything here. Hostess very accommodating.

The sun during the day is so hot you need to close the blinds which is only a problem if you want to hang out in the room and want natural light. The remote location is nice but requires a drive through some winding roads up the mountain. This can be good for some and not for others.

The drive up was a bit steep, but what an amazing view and an amazing appartment. The tranquility and the view make it an truly special place.

I know Greece quite well and thought that is a really outstanding bay view apartment managed by an over average caring lady. I definitely will come again.

We loved our stay at Bay View Guest House, which has been so thoughtfully kitted out. The apartment is very comfortable and quiet, and the views are incredible. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful! It's a great base for exploring - we visited Ancient Messene and Mystras, and we went further down the coast to Kardamyli and Stoupa. Our host was very helpful too!

The road up is a little hairy the first time but you soon get used to it!

We highly recommend this property which totally exceeds expectations since Luxury and Comfort are Combined perfectly. Location is sensational & view of Kalamata bay is stunning from the great terrasse. The place is new, and the rooms are large, very modern, very clean, fully equipped and extremely elegant. Breakfast was excellent and very generous. Treats from a variety of local products were there to welcome us. Thank you very much for everything.

Nothing! We loved everything about this place! Just a recommendation for people with disabilities to reserve "Thalassa" (I think) guesthouse since has an easier access from the parking area.

Beautiful location overlooking the Bay making the steep drive up so worth it. The apartment was of outstanding quality. We loved the breakfast formula: everything was provided in the room to enjoy at our own leisure including fresh breads and pastries from the local bakery and eggs from the chickens on the property. Nadia is a very professional and kind host.

Location is gorgeous. View of Kalamata bay is stunning. Rooms were large, very clean, and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and very generous. Host was wonderful. We highly recommend this property!

Bayview Guesthouses are located in a spectacular part of Kalamata. The fireplace, carefully thought out interiors and sumptuous breakfast were greatly appreciated.

What I liked, the most and I think this is one of the most important factors for every accomodation, is the friendlyness and sincereness of the people that provide it to you. And Nadia and her parents delivered greatly on that part! They really want you have everything you need. I also like the occasional talk and sincere interest. On to the apartment: that was just perfect. Very clean, extensive breakfast (refill every day) nice and spacy and then the view: really amazing. You get so relaxed sitting there. You have the appliances you're used to at home (for the most of us). You can park in front of your room. Every day cleaning service. So very Covid proof. We really enjoyed it there!

Actually I haven't got any negative things to say about the apartment. However, we did experience some challenges with the steep road up. But our car wasn't so powerful which added to that greatly. Nadia had some tips on which roads you can take though. There is one road which is a walk in the park up there. Ask Nadia.

Location spectacular. Great arrangement that eggs, bacon, bread, fruit, cereal, yoghurt etc all delivered fresh every day to make your breakfast. Nadia and Olga were fantastic hosts and so helpful. Everything spotlessly clean and flat is perfectly equipped with everything that you need, including excellent wifi!
