Really loved the privacy of the home and it's location over all. It's pretty new and very easy to get to. The beds were super cozy and the kitchen had just about everything you need to cook a meal( they even have it nicely tucked away) the washer and dryer are a nice size. House also warms up quickly and being able to open the side doors for fresh air is also such a bonus!:) near town and shopping!! We really enjoyed our stay here

House is clean, plenty of room, great location, step out the door and hike the Cape Sante trail, 2 block walk to food & drinks, or a massage at the Majestic Hotel Spa - we did it all!

We really enjoyed this beautiful place, nestled perfectly in downtown Anacortes. Wished we had more time to enjoy it, but it was very clean, with modern upgrades, and nice amenities. Glad we found this!

We enjoyed the cultural cottage. It was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for walking near the harbor. We loved that there was no TV. It added to the conversations and relaxation.

Great location for walking the downtown strip and docks. Spacious and well stocked up. Fire place was essential, as weather got quite cold all of a sudden. Bed was comfortable. Only complaint, would be that couch had a broken sunken spot, one of the arm chairs fell apart on us and one of the lamps was also lose and missing knob. Since we had tools, we fixed the chair and tightened lamp, so that we could use them.

This was a great place to stay in Anacortes - close in to all the activities, very neat and clean, quiet, and loved the flower garden and outdoor seating space. My friend and I had been camping so it was really nice to take a hot shower and enjoy the comforts of home again.

This is a lovely little property, perfect for a family of 4. Nicely updated, and very clean! Comfortable beds, and well appointed kitchen. We loved the little side yard for morning coffee. Very quiet neighborhood, and VERY walkable to downtown, the marina and several restaurants. The little brown house in front of this property appears to be unoccupied, so we had tons of privacy. Our one and only complaint would be that the wifi connection is very very slow, and spotty at times. On the other hand…stopped us from working during vaca, and kept our kids more interested in exploring the sights than staring at screens. Not a bad thing. ; ) 100% we would stay here again!

Very centrally located and a large house. It has everything you need. The only thing is the wifi didn’t work at all. But other than that it was great! Amazing communication from Vacasa rentals too, they are great to deal With.

Quite and away from traffic. Nice and cozy it was lime our own private resort. Will definitely come back.

Enjoyed the property, clean, kitchen is well appointed, appliances are all new. The location is walking distance to dining and shopping which is such a plus! Only downsides are the furniture is very uncomfortable (sofa was strange) and the deal breaker could be the lack of decent wifi. It was on an extender (probably with the adjacent property so it doesn't hold a connection most of the time). This made work nearly impossible. Also no tv there, which might bother some people, especially if there isn't a strong wifi connection for streaming.

Very cute remodeled cottage right in town and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!

This is an updated unit that is very modern with everything in the place being very new. It is located in a quiet area of the old town but within two blocks of the old downtown area with easy access to many of the local restaurants.

Good space for 2 adults with 2 kids. They liked the little yard and proximity to parks and ferry.

We needed to extend our stay, they were a great help, and very accomodating. Really nice place, clean, very walkable to everything. A couple of blocks off the main drag on a quiet street. Everything you need in kitchen, and also nice to have washer and dryer. Beautiful flowers! I would highly recommend staying here

Finding the property was very easy. Lovely location. the house was loaded with everything we could need to thrive. But, the patio, made sitting in the sunshine and relaxing so pleasant. Beds were super comfortable. We had excellent privacy, and felt totally secure. Oh yes, it is a five-star experience. Earl and Hilda Roberts, Blackfoot, Idaho.

Wonderful, open common area with kitchen island overlooking living area. Two bedrooms with ample closet space. Beds were quite comfortable & linens were of good quality, too.

Water was hot, shower pressure was good. Very clean and well-kept space, with simple, clean, updated decor. Washer/dryer in perfect condition. The little gas fireplace was perfect for our snowy weather visit.

Wife and I love to cook while on vacation. The kitchen is very well-appointed. Of all the VRBO’s we’ve used, this property had the best chef knives and cooking utensils so far. The only things we wished it had were a pair of tongs, and microwave safe plates/bowls (the melamine dishware was clearly marked “not suitable for microwave “).

Loved the French doors that opened up onto the private side yard. Awesome location very close to downtown Anacortes.

Perfect walking distance to Calico Cupboard for a yummy breakfast if you want. Just blocks from Safeway for groceries. Could really have used a nice little bluetooth sound system since there is no TV, but we improvised by using the little speaker on our iPhones.

Overall, we really loved Cultural Cottage & will DEFINITELY stay there again.

My husband and two young children stayed here for almost a week. We loved the location and the layout of the cottage itself. They had everything you would need and even provided small convenient items like soap and shampoo (lots of rental homes do not provide these things). It was the service of a hotel with the privacy and comfort of a home. We would definitely stay here again! P.S. Bring your hair dryer! :-)
