My friend and I brought our combined 4 grade-school aged children. This was our first trip to IRB and I feel sure it wont be our last! The house was a perfect layout for our two families, the fishing equipment, bikes & other gear were great for our group as well. Plenty of beach and shower towels. Lots of walkable shops & restaurants, plus grocery delivery available- we didnt need a car. Beach is about a 10 minute walk. The hosts' communication was excellent!

Flippers Lagoon was a perfect place to stay in IRB, great location, easy walk to beach and restaurants. Hosts Rod and Tracy were terrific, very accommodating and responsive. Plenty of space and dolphins did not disappoint! Thank you for a memorable week!

Amazing vacation area and stay. The amount of stairs to climb inside was a little rough, but overall great views and atmosphere.

Met up with a few buddies from college and their families for a long weekend. Stay was enjoyable and exactly what we needed. Would recommend Flipper Lagoon as the pool and dock are top tier.

Great home for a family vacation. Quick walk or bike ride to the beach. Has everything you need for a beach day including cooler with wheels, wagon for beach toys, chairs, and towels. The pool and deck were great for relaxing and the fishing from the dock was fun for the kids. The location was ideal, close to beaches, restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this property.

This area is super fun, rent a golf cart, Rod is amazing and thought of everything! We wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Flipper’s Lagoon in Indian Rocks Beach! We spent most of our days at the beach and in the pool. What an amazing view to wake up to. The house is well-equipped for large groups. There are places to gather and places for privacy. The beds are extremely comfortable and there is a tv in every room. The hosts are beyond amazing. Easy to reach them and they answered questions within minutes. We grilled out on our last night and enjoyed eating poolside while watching a manatee hanging under the deck. Highly recommend this property!

Our family has been going to IRB for years. This was a great house in a good location. The kids loved all the items in the garage!

The property is very nice and just as described. All the water equipment, beach equipment, and bicycles in the garage to use make the stay even more enjoyable. The swimming pool was excellent as we spent a good bit of time in it. Rod and Tracy even dropped off some fresh fruit for us which was very good. We enjoyed fishing off the dock. There is plenty of convenient beach access close by, but you are far enough off the beach to relax and unwind when you've had enough fun in the sand.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed Flipper's Lagoon. The description of the property is spot on. It is very clean; very well-stocked with towels, dishware, etc.; has well-functioning appliances, a nice pool, and much more. The local restaurants are great, and if you want to fish the Gulf have the owners connect you with Captain Randy just across the harbor. My wife, kids and grandchildren want to return next year, for sure.

Hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Gave us helpful tips on the area and ensured we had everything we needed. We booked our trip last minute, had a great stay. Home is clean and large, family had room to spread out. Large pool big enough to swim laps in and overlooks bay. Area is family friendly, nature preserve with boardwalk and playground at end of street. I plan on staying at the home when I visit the area in the future.

Great location and great house everything you need just show up and have fun. My family had a great time and I will definitely be back.

This property was a great place for our family of 10. It had everything we needed and enough room to spread out. The kids enjoyed the pool and fishing off the dock. It was a short walk to the beach and we had plenty of beach chairs and toys. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Our family had a great stay, so much to do near by, walking distance to the beach and the kids loved having the bikes to use!

We had a wonderful time and we saw dolphins on multiple days. There is convenience , liquor, and food located close to the house. The accommodations were beautiful and clean and the pool was heated as we had asked for. The owners were very responsive when we had any questions. The neighbors were very friendly and had some good advice for fishing.

This home's unusual layout worked for our family due to its three very separate sleeping quarters. There was plenty of room for everyone with two balconies to enjoy. Renters should know ahead of time, there are LOTS of steps. Many things not as described (amenity list needs updating) for example, there is no "Keurig Duo", the cappuccino maker was unusable due to missing parts. When we requested sharp knives, the owner was responsive and brought us some but when we voiced our concerns regarding the slippery entry way and asked for a non-slip rug since it had been raining and the marble type flooring was slippery, he brought us a bath towel and told us to use it for that purpose. We felt this was a safety issue ignored by the owner especially since my 81-year-old Mom was with us. As previous reviewers have stated, the property could be much improved with a few extra upgrades and general upkeep which would not be costly but would greatly increase enjoyment of the property. I encountered a couple of things which I've never seen before at the numerous online rental homes I've been to: 1. the hot water supply to the washer was literally zip tied so we could only do wash with cold water. 2. we found a 13-page legal document in the back of the red information binder on foyer table indemnifying the owner of every imaginable thing and laying out an extreme amount of renter responsibility. The final page states "Signed by tenant by and thru original booking and occupying property." * This was never presented to me at any time during the rental process and I just happened upon it. I never agreed to or signed anything of the sort *. We found this unnerving, along with the numerous warning signs posted throughout the house and property warning of possible punitive charges for various infractions. We rented the pool heater for extra charge, and it broke the day before our arrival. Owner went above and beyond to get it fixed and we were grateful for that, as without it we probably wouldn't have been able to use the pool at all. We enjoyed the canal and relaxing out on the dock and saw dolphins twice during our weeklong stay. Indian Rocks Beach is lovely, and we would return to the area.

Great location short walk or bike ride to parks and beach. Kids kept busy swimming in the pool and fishing off the dock. We chartered a fishing excursion with Randy of Hustler Fishing Charters right across and he picked us up right from the dock, put us on fish, cleaned them and dropped us off for us to cook our catch! Great spot for a family vacation! Rod and Tracy were great!

Great location, plenty of room, only issue was with the heated pool which never got to the set temp during our stay. We would stay again.

Our Family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Indian Rocks Beach. The house was clean and we were able to move into it with ease to enjoy our vacation. The owners were very responsive and helped smooth over a couple of kinks very quickly. At the mere mention of the bikes not being operational, 2 brand new ones showed up the next day. Very much appreciated that! The pool and the dock were the primary reasons for selecting this property. The kids loved being able to fish and swim 24/7. For parents that live a travel sports life, this was exactly what our family needed. A week at Flippers Lagoon without a schedule.

Our family of 10 stayed at Flipper's and we never wanted to leave! My granddaughters called it "our Florida mansion". 3 floors of spacious rooms and a balcony provided privacy for each family within our big group. We saw dolphins, manatees, and stingrays right off the dock. The beach was a short walk away and the townspeople were the friendliest we have experienced over many years of vacationing in the state. The hosts were incredibly communicative from reservation to checkout and very helpful. And the pool and grounds were impeccable! What a gem! I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful and restful Gulf Coast adventure! Can't wait to return.

The pool is fabulous and the house has plenty of space so that we were not trippping over each other. Walking distance to the beach with a great playground for the kids near by. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Really cannot say enough about the house itself, the location and the communication with the hosts. The house was large and spacious with a perfect dining table to all sit together. Very close to the beach and the pool was fantastic. We caught fish right off the dock each day. Various varieties including a large Sheepshead. The house is very close to excellent dining locations as well as coffee shops and nice little restaurants for casual dining. We had 8 adults and the large space of the house suited our needs perfectly. An absolute homerun. We are VERY active and what clinched the house for us was that coming from Maryland, all we needed were some clothes and bathing suits. The house had EVERYTHING from pool and beach toys to Kayaks and fishing rods and tackle box. Communication with the hosts was really excellent. They reached out with check in instructions, little notes about things to do and answered any questions we had. We will all remember Flippers Lagoon as perhaps our best family vacation ever and we were actually very sad to leave it.

We can’t thank Tracy and Rod enough for a wonderful week of vacation! The house is huge!!!! Pretty much had everything we needed. Very clean and well taken care of! The backyard is paradise…right on the water. Countless hours were spent lounging and playing in the pool! Beach is about 1/4 mile from house, easy walk. Tracy and Rod were quick to respond to any of our questions and were very helpful in every possible way. Thank you for a beautiful and relaxing vacation at Flipper’s Lagoon! I traveled with my immediate family (2 adults and 4 kids) with my father and sister and their respective partners to this wonderful home. We enjoyed the pool morning, noon and night! We spied dolphins and stingrays off the dock; fishing wasn't great but it was fun watching the kids try! Quick walk to the beach, Indian Rocks was voted better than Sand Key by my family!! My brother in law is voting for 2 weeks next year because we enjoyed it so much. The owners were super responsive to answer the few questions we had. Thank you!

Lots to do, great location, clean and comfortable property, a great stay overall. The skatepark at Kolb park was a major bonus for a few of the boys in our group.

I spent 2 weeks at this house from March 12 - 26. The first week was with my kids - spouses and 3 grand kids (2-6 & 7). The second week was just with great friends. Had a wonderful time of sun & beach weather. The location of this house was perfect, in a quiet neighborhood and easy walk of 3 blocks to the beach with easy access to the beach. The grocery store was 5 minutes away by car and many nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. The pool was very cold so didn’t use much. We could have paid too heat it but takes a few days to warm up. Wish we would have known what the water temp was and I would have had it warmed up by the time we got there. The little kids wanted to go in the pool so bad but it was cold. They have a wagon which we used each time we walked to the beach which was a big help taking everything down there. They had 3 beach umbrellas but 2 were broken and the third one the pole had broke so it didn’t work the best. They have a cooler but the plug was missing and water ran all over the entry way. So we ended up getting a cooler to use. The kids went to ride the bikes but the tires were flat and the chains all rusty. It worked but not very well. We loved the house and location we would plan on renting again but hope they replace some of the items that were in the garage that were broken. Otherwise we did enjoy our time there creating memories, eating great food and got to watch some beautiful sunsets.

We had 3 families together that doesn't happen often for us. This property was perfect. The pool was a hit and bigger than it looks in the picture. We loved the neighborhood with the parks and the friendly responsive hosts. Would love to come back
