This Duplex was perfect for our large family. Plenty of parking for our 4 cars. The kids & adults loved having the BBQ area, Kayaks and bikes. All in great shape and working order! Both 2/1's were clean. Home is walking distance to the beach and a quick ride to the local restaurants, publix, starbucks etc. Management replied to my messages quickly.

2 separate apartments were very nice so our babies could sleep in one while we gathered in one. The unit even had a crockpot which I always bring mine so suppers are easy after a day at the beach. We had so much fun gathering shark teeth and shells. Nice beach chairs and wagon for hauling was super nice too! The only thing my girls would have liked was a full length mirror but I was absolutely fine without seeing a full length view of my beach body😂

What a wonderful week we had. We were a family group of 5 adults and 5 children (ages 6,7,8,9 and 10). From the moment we arrived until we left this morning there was not a dull moment. The house was immaculate and there wasn’t a thing we needed that wasn’t there. The grandchildren were very impressed with all the fun water things the home provided for their entertainment at the beach. We would all highly recommend this rental.

We had both suites with grandparents below and the kids and grand-kids above. The accommodations were spotless and fresh, we had everything we needed when we arrived. The “toys” came in useful as we didn’t have to go rent them and they were right there whenever we wanted to take a bike ride or kayak. The beach just a few doors down gave us a mile of uncrowded beach and easy access, we had dolphins swimming not 10 feet away from us in the canal. The restaurants were close enough that we could walk to them. The owners made sure that we had everything we needed and took excellent care of us, thank-you! Highly Recommended - We hope to be back again next year.

Muse along with 8 more members of my family ages from 5 to 50 loved staying at the house. Great location other than having to cross the street and go down about a half of the block to gain beach access, this caused a little hassle with kids but no big deal. All in all we all enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again.

The location was great. The property is absolutely beautiful. We had everything we needed for our family vacation! Property managers were responsive and timely in answering questions. You cannot go wrong renting this property!

Peter and MaryJo responded quickly to all our queries. The house is fully equipped and clean. The rooftop deck allowed us to watch the beautiful sunsets. This rental is a gem.

We had a great family time, The property is composed of two units and each unit might work independently if necessary. They thought of everything ( outside shower, bikes , kayak, tent for the beach umbrellas, lifejackets, games, books, charcoal barbecue, double laundry and dryer). Just pack 2-3 swimming suits, get some food and you are done. The upstairs unit has a deck great for the sunsets. Kids had a great time collecting shells and exploring the island.

Took a family of 12 (4 kids) and had a great time. Both units had everything you needed, just pack a bag!! Great time and we will for sure be coming back!

The house, water gear, location, kitchen stocked with all equipment and utensils, laundry room, outdoor grill area with tables, bikes, etc.... were all magnificent and well organized!!! Great get away with my teenagers that allowed for plenty family time. Maintenance checks on home and guests daily and was there in 30 min to deal with a minor issue for us ;) I cannot wait to revisit next summer!!!

We went with my family and rented both units. They were both very clean and well stocked. We loved having access to the bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, grills. The laundry room was well stocked with tons of beach toys, chairs, coolers, and umbrellas. The beach was a short walk away so the beach carts came in handy with everything that we ended up bringing down to the beach for the kids. We watched (what we could,it was behind another tall house) the sunset and sunrise from the rooftop deck. Grilled out for dinner 2 of the 3 nights. I went down to the public beach by bike one morning to do the yoga on the beach class. One thing to keep in mind is that when they say that they need you out promptly at 10am, they aren't joking. We were all packed up and just finishing up the check-out list (you have to wash all of the towels before you go which is a first for us, but not a huge deal) and saying our goodbyes. It was 9:50 and the cleaning people show up, sitting in the driveway just staring at the house because our cars will still in the driveway. It was just odd. Other than that, we had a great time and would go back. It was a great trip.

I’m not one to write reviews but WOW what a nice surprise. We didn’t know much about the area and chose this location without much research. Home owners have thought of everything. Our group had both units and ranged from 10 to 70 years old. Something for everyone with a clean comfy home(s), pretty much anything you need for kitchen needs, charcoal grills, outdoor shower, onsite laundry, etc. Endless assortment of toys with bikes. SUP boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, coolers and carts to manage it all. Location we found to be relaxing and comfortable. We say tripped to Sanibel and Fort Meyers and young ones wanted to know when we could go back to ‘our’ beach. You’re not directly on the sand but we didn’t find that to be an issue for our group. Access is a few houses down and then the state park at the end of the street. Beach was great. Plenty of space to spread out. Shells are plentiful and variety was surprising. Manatee and dolphins in the surf on occasion. Fun spot for young and old. Communication with the owners was excellent with prompt response. Very nice.

This place was amazing! Beautiful house with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The owners truly have thought of everything their guests would need! You can tell this place is loved; a perfect vacation home. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this house!

We really enjoyed our stay at Highview. Our family rented both units for the week. Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the roof with the ocean breeze and first light. The home was comfortable and the hosts thought of everything. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, coolers, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and even carts to haul all the gear to the beach. The bikes and kayaks were great. We went kayaking on the bay several times and enjoyed paddling up to the point where the bay joins the gulf where we saw manatees and dolphins on several occasions. We also liked to walk up to this point on the beach in the morning. The home was clean and there were clear instructions for everything. We had everything we could need. The place is very cute and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We spent most of our days on the porch playing games and waiting for the cooler afternoons. We loved the area. It was quiet and not touristy at all. There were tons of shells and shark teeth on the beach. It was a great place for a vacation.

We rented both suites for our family birthday weekend. The suites were wonderful - top notch linens, comfy beds, nicely appointed kitchens and super clean. There was every kind of beach toy imaginable, the bikes were fine for beach cruisers (the kayaks and paddleboards were heavy and cumbersome) and the porch furniture was great. Our only real complaint - despite the photos, the house did not have a direct ocean view from the first or second floor. (You could see a bit of water here and there but not what you would expect to see from the photos on the site) There is a great view from the top deck, but it is accessed by a wrought iron circular staircase, rather dangerous for the elderly, inebriated or just plain klutzy. The outside space was beautiful, landscaping well taken care of and the little yard in the back had two Weber charcoal grills . Everyone tried the outdoor shower (though not all at once) and really liked it. Access to the beach was a block away through the Wannabe resort and the town center was in walking distance, less than a mile. We saw a golf cart that advertised rides back and forth into town, but we never saw a phone number to call, and never saw the golf cart when we needed it. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend staying at the Hightower complex.
