I have rented camps every summer for 20 years and this camp has the best location of any place we have ever been. The porch was the place to be when inside and the two docks and large lawn were just great!!! It was great being in the cove as the lake was calm there but you had easy access to the wide open lake. We were able to take our boat and ride to town where there was a public dock we could use which was great for doing some shopping and having lunch. Randy was excellent to work with and the camp was clean, well stocked and relaxing. My only comment about the accommodations is that I wish the mattresses in the bunk room and main bedroom were more comfortable. Otherwise the place was great and we will definitely be back. Thank you Randy for sharing your place with me and my family.

It was another great vaca at Randy’s. Perfect private and spacious location, amazing waterfront, and much more. It’s always a pleasure to stay here. Finally caught salmon!

Serene location on the lake. Large flat area for the dog and kid to run around. No neighbors anywhere. Close to town. Already booked for next year.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It fit our needs and we had an awesome time. My children liked swimming, fishing, and seeing the views and wildlife. The location was quiet and serene. The host had all necessary info prepared and was extremely helpful and thoughtful. Nothing was lacking. Already booked for next year.

Great spot

you can't find a more relaxing, beautiful spot on the lake. The eagle can usually be seen near camp as well as osprey, king fisher, and loons. It's just the right amount of rustic comfort with a breath-taking view of the clean lake. Randy is a fabulous host, will check in with you when you arrive, and is super responsive to any questions.

A wonderful Oasis in a beautiful part of Maine. Owner was great and we could not have been more satisfied!

Peace & Quiet

Excellent experience with VRBO and owner.

My wife and I took our dog and ran away from civilization! The location and the lake were all we could have hoped for. Plenty of yard area for the pup to run, and two docks to enter the water. All the linens, towels and dishes were provided so we didn't have to pack the car to the hilt. We saw an eagle, loons, geese and ducks as well as too many small songbirds to mention! The folks in town were super friendly and helpful and there's a small IGA grocery store, and a sports outfitter with everything from fishing gear to kayaks and boat rentals. The owner, Randy, was very helpful and attentive. There wasn't much phone service (through Verizon at least) but that's a plus. Leave your devices home and get outside on the lake. That's what this place is all about!

Great lawn, wonderful lakefront property, beautiful, calm spot for a boat and pure relaxation. We loved it so much. Our springer swam so much the first day that he had to have a time out most of the week. Dogs and long ears! Thank you.

What a beautiful spot on Rangeley lake! My wife, two hunting dogs and I stayed here for the second week in October. I can't express enough what a wonderful spot this is. The camp is situated so that even though there are other camps around you are not aware of them. Truly feels like you have the lake to yourself. The camp itself is "campy", and I mean that as a compliment. It is spotless, comfortable and very well maintained. Randy clearly takes great care of the property. Randy as a host was perfect, communication was great, would absolutely rent here again!

Randy is a great host! The camp is fantastic and the location is, too. The camp was stocked with everything we could need. The dock was sheltered on three sides and was perfect for our boat. Thank you, Randy!!

This was a very relaxing and quiet vacation stop. The camp was just right and the property was in a prime location. Loons, eagles, osprey, ducks and a large rabbit nearby. Our dog had a great time and the neighbors(when they were there) were far enough away that she could roam the yard without bothering anyone. We explored the area and had a great time doing so! Will definitely make plans to return!

Our family had an amazing time. Everything was perfect. Check in was smooth, quick, and easy. We were immediately able to enjoy all that Rangeley Lake had to offer. We brought our Boston Whaler, paddle boards, fishing gear, softball gloves, and our dogs. We entertained ourselves with all these and more. We saw bald eagles, a few bunnies, and the neighbors were so friendly. The cove was peaceful and perfect. The hosts were always available for questions and were very helpful. We felt like we were alone on a slice of heaven all week. We were so happy and our dogs, too. Thank you for opening your home up to us- we will be back! Brad, Kasey, Riley, and Quinn Jerome

Wonderful spot. Great view. Coffee on the porch. The best.

Simple camp with everything needed to make a meal, shower, have a campfire & relax. Views are amazing from porch with loons & and eagles gliding or flying by. Peace & serenity for reading a good book or kayaking & bring your dvds to watch as this is off the network.

Beautiful property on the West shore of Rangeley Lake with two docks and a large yard. Outside fire pit was great, ample kindling and wood for fires. We rented a canoe at Whittakers in Oquossoc. Cottage still maintains the charm of yesteryears. Local supermarket in Oquossoc easily supplied all needs including live Maine lobster. Would definitely book again. Owner communication was always timely..... JLH.

The camp is located in a perfect location. There isn’t a lot of boat traffic and the neighbors are spaced out nicely. The boat dock is protected from the wind. We had a great time and will more than likely be back for another stay.

The pictures online do not do the setting justice! It is such beautiful a spot! The owner is very responsive and checks in to be sure everything is as it should be! I'm hoping to make this a yearly event for our family!
