The property has everything you need and they thought of the extras like beach equipment, coffee, wood for the fire pit, etc. Our group of 6 adults fit comfortably and we had a great time.

Lovely home perfectly suited for our cousin reunion. Plenty of room, quiet neighborhood and at the edge of the woods. Deer, raccoons and butterflies visited. Close to great restaurants and Warren Dunes State Park for a beautiful Lake Michigan sunset. Bonus of Bridgman Aquatic Center not far for morning pool workout.

Complements..to the host ..She thought of everything ..The house was very much put together with everything we needed..The decor of the house was very nice and thought threw ..We thought that the bathtubs needed a handle on them ..We had my elderly mom with us and she thought she could of fallen getting in and out ..We did have trouble with the front door combination ot did not work like it should ..alittle mantnance needed on a few things ..But the house was very Beautiful and felt like home..Thank you

Amazing property for a short getaway for July 4th with the family. Safe area, near a great fireworks show and nice small restaurants. The property was exactly what we needed for our family of 5. Will definitely be renting again.

House was perfect! Everything we needed. Comfy, cozy and clean. You seem so secluded back in the trees but you really are SO CLOSE to everything! 10-15 min drive. Perfect location. 10/10. Would book the house again! Had a great time!!!! Ps. Villa nova pizza was excellent! Looking for quick breakfast/coffee def head to black currant bakery!

Nice place. Better for smaller gatherings 10–15 people. Parking for location needs better identification. Overnite stay needs to written out due to ordinance. Grill needs help.Also walking to beach takes more than 15 min. On a whole, very nicely kept and clean, spacious for small group.

2 days with siblings/seniors. Modest, clean facility. Note left w/several current maintenance needs. We really appreciated not being responsible for nor charged extra for cleaning.

We were very pleased with our stay on Locke Rd. The house was charming and it was perfect for a family. My sister and I came with my niece and her boyfriend and it was perfect for us. The layout of the house was great family! We also saw deer, chipmunks, bluejays and racoons!!

We loved the setup of this house. It was spacious for 5 adults. The location was ideal for a concert we attended at Four Winds casino. The host was gracious and allowed early check in. A few suggestions to make this home even better would be to invest in some new cookware. The Teflon coating on most pans was worn off and we didn’t want to use them. The TV signal was very intermittent which made it hard to watch anything. I also think it would be nice if the host would clear out some paint cans from the pantry. It could use a little organizing. We wanted to use the grill but it was full of spider webs and rust. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves but this home could be a 10/10 with a little extra effort put into the details. I would rate it a 7/10.

The cottage was all that was expected tucked away frm the city life and noise. It was clean and cozy and the hostess was precise and pleasant. Perfect for the next time a getaway is needed. :)

Perfect sized house for our quick fall getaway weekend. Our group consisted of two couples, no kids. We liked that the two bedrooms were on opposite ends of the cottage. We each had our own bathroom and living room. Beata was a gracious host and answered our only question very quickly (although later I realized she’d already given the information we needed in the check in instructions-reading is fundamental haha). Only suggestion for important it would just be better pillows and maybe a mattress upgrade to the second bedroom. It was a little hard on our backs, maybe intended for a teenager instead of our old 40-something bones. We would still stay there again and just bring our own pillows. The house was very clean and everything worked like it should. We were really glad there were games to play (we are now Skip-Bo masters), because we forgot to bring our own. We didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit unfortunately, but next time we will. The two restaurants nearby (Red Arrow Roadhouse and Whistle Stop) were fantastic. We went to Red Arrow both nights for dinner because the food was THAT good! Maybe next time we’ll try Union Social House. All in all this was the relaxing break we needed from it busy lives. Great place. Clean, spacious, and off the beaten path.

We had a very relaxing stay. The Hosts thought of so many niceties. It is set up well for going to the beach with folding chairs & towels. It's a nice, quiet area. Very wooded. We saw deer multiple times. It's a short drive to numerous places. We thank the Hosts for their thoughtfulness.

The house was adequate, but there is lots of room for improvements. It served its purpose for our group and allowed us all to be together. We felt that the kitchenware was lacking for preparing meals for a group. The Wi-Fi was still having issues and the TV signal froze every few seconds so you couldn't watch anything. The master bedroom and bath were nice and spacious. The other two bedrooms could use new mattresses. It is a convenient location for visiting the lake and beaches.

We absolutely love this place and for sure will be back. 1. The host was very responsive and kind. 2. Smooth check in and check out. 3. The property is located close to highway but in a very quiet neighborhood. 4. The house was very clean, very well maintained and beautifully decorated. 5. The host provides you with absolutely everything - just bring clothes and groceries and you dont need to worry about the rest, including a hair dryer and shampoo. 6. Very close to the beach, good restaurant and amazing coffee spot😊 There are no cons😊 Highly recommend, you will love it.

The house and property were wonderful. We only had a few issues with the house. Shower rod in main bathroom wouldn't stay attached to the wall, and fell on two of our friends. The small bathroom toilet wouldn't flush well, and sometimes not at all. We also had issues with the television (although that may have been on us). But the closeness to the beach and the general living areas and the outdoors were all wonderful. Would stay again with a few small repairs done.

Our family found the cottage quiet with plenty of rooms for 4 Adults for a short weekend gathering. The room with the king size bed was comfortable but the room with twin beds was not really suited for an adult comfort. The cottage is tucked away and not easy to walk to the public beach access but can drive. We loved the firepit.

Ok for what we needed and for the cost. Needs some updating. Ants on kitchen counter. Found some on our food which we had to throw out. No WiFi even though VRBO states there is. Property manager continued to give reasons why it wasn’t working. Seems to be an ongoing issue.

The home was perfect for our group, house was very clean and check in was easy! Close to Union Pier and easy access to main roads to explore the area!

Well stocked. Didnt want for anything. Secluded location. There is a hornets nest above sliding door. Would definitely rebook. Very reasonable.

We spent a long weekend at the property. It is a summer property but its clean and well maintained. The only drawback is there is no wifi. However due to lack of wifi we spent our time outside going places during daytime and evenings by fire pit. loved the relaxing setting.

We had a great experience with this property and manager. Quiet, had all the amenities we needed, and was very spacious. The property manager was friendly, thorough, and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

A 5 star experience

The listing and photos represent the place well. It isn’t high-end, but then neither was the price. It’s clean and comfortable and they go “above and beyond” in terms of what they stock for you in the house. For example, beach towels, cooking supplies, condiments, bug spray, sunscreen, charcoal for grill, etc. We were worried about mosquitos, but they were not bothersome. The location is great - close to the beach as well as restaurants. We loved our stay.

The house was so perfect for our trip!!! It was a great size- bigger than we anticipated! Very well stocked for all of our needs, convenient parking (even with 3 cars), and close to the beach and wineries. I would definitely stay again if I return to the area!!!

The location was great for us off the beaten path. For some they may like everything within walking distanced. We enjoyed the quiet and privacy. The house was warm, cozy and very comfortable.

Everything matched the listing perfectly, and we enjoyed staying here! It was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t notice when we booked that there is no Wi-Fi — it wasn’t a problem for us, but something to be aware of as you’re booking.
