The room was hot, no hot water and didn't see anyone but through the ring camera. Did see the maintenance man. He was the one who gave us the key.

nothing there were people living in the hotel next door to the room they gave me.

everything. smelled bad, sheets looked not washed, there was a person living in one of the rooms with their cat. absolutely disgusting. they shouldn’t be allowed to be open for Bussiness.

The owner is very nice and quick to answer all your questions the pool is beautiful always well kept so clear if you want to tan there's nice chairs very comfortable very clean room and especially the pool love it there is a laundry area to if your looking to stay a little longer everything works very well

Everything been great

The location to South Padre Island was very good and it was easy to find the hotel. Check in and check out process was easy.It was very clean although it is an older building. Parking spot was right in front of the room or a few spaces away. They let us check in like 2 hours early and no extra charge 🙂

We didn’t like the cemetery literally right across the street. My sister was so spooked she had a nightmare and we left right at day break. We didn’t wait for check out time. It was also very noisy upstairs like all night. Sounded like kids running back and forth. The curtains didn’t cover the window all the way. My sister did see a couple of small roaches but that might have be from all the rain we got while we stayed there.The ocean view is not what I expected. You have to walk about a block to get to it then it was gated so no way to get into it. And your room has to be in the back for ocean view if not you get cemetery view :(

Friendly staff and clean rooms

I liked that there was availability last minute, and the front desk staff were nice. The pool looked nice and clean but did not use it. The fridge looked new and was bigger than the one I even have at home so seems like they spent decent money on that upgrade.

Long, but please read. The only reason we stayed at this hotel was because somehow the original hotel we booked was booked for next year instead. There were no other hotels with vacancy and we needed a place to stay. We stayed in one of their "apartment" rooms and it was terrible. I know this is a one-star hotel, I didn't expect much, but this was atrocious. First thing I noticed was the HUGE gaps in the edges of the front door. It didn't fit properly in the door frame which would allow whatever kinds of bugs inside. The smell of new paint was almost overwhelming. The bathroom seemed like some sort of DIY project with no insulation in those walls, because as soon as we opened the plywood "door" it was very hot. The water pressure was pretty much nonexistent. When we got back from dinner there was a HUGE roach inside by the couch, which was not surprising because of the previously mentioned gaps in the door frame. I've saved the best for last... two different times throughout the night I woke up in a panic because I felt a crawling sensation. Once on my leg, once on my arm. In the morning my fiance felt the same thing on his arm, then forehead, then his other arm and when he quickly moved it, he flung a roach to the floor. THERE HAD BEEN A ROACH IN OUR BED ALL NIGHT. He did not tell me until we had checked out and were on the road that he had also felt the crawling sensation and had seen the actual roach. I have an extreme phobia of roaches and if he had told me when it happened I would've completely lost it. To top it all off, we paid over $300 for this room. This room is not worth even $50. If we were ever in a bind again with a messed up hotel booking, I would choose to sleep in the car rather than stay in this hotel even if the room was free.

The environment and peaceful setting with the accommodations you need for your stay is perfect.

Zero complaints about this property or stay.

The stay was overall ok. Staff was nice, but room was clean.
