Proximité de la place et de la rue piétonne, hotel très bien situé.
J'ai été accueilli par une personne m'indiquant que ma chambre avait déjà été attribué: "pardon vos noms sonnaient pareil" (ce qui était totalement faux)
Les toilettes sentaient l'urine.
Les chambres petites et minimalistes, malgré le potentiel charme de l'hotel.

Soit disant baignoire thalasso... j'ai mis 50 minutes pour remplir la baignoire (débit d'eau plus que faible), pour finalement ne pas avoir de bulles (trop vétuste)

Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. De kamer was groot en schoon.
Het raam van de badkamer heeft geen gordijn. Wel matglas dat niet het hele raam bedekt. We konden niet douchen met het licht aan, want dan stonden we "in de etalage."

Patricia runs an affordable , home from home , stylish hotel which is welcoming ,practical and well situated within the town. Breakfast is simple , self service buffet style competitively priced , with no staff intervention which was tranquil and worked well. The hotel although aged is well maintained and has everything you need for a pleasant stay and has a certain ambience . Patricia works hard with a minimum of fuss to maintain the high standards she sets and is a very approachable hostess.
We would highly recommend Eden as a lovely place to stay for however long your visit 😀

Although paid parking ( free overnight) is available adjacently , we used the huge free car park at Place General de Gaulle which is a 10 minute walk away , which was fine for us able bodied adults but maybe not so good for more infirm or little ones but certainly not insurmountable. -20 minute drop off available!

The continental breakfast was very good, Staff were lovely, great relaxed atmosphere. Hotel was in excellant position, a few minutes walk to the the Grand Place which had lots of great bars and restaurants and Bethune itself is a good place as a base for the area.

We were travelling by motorbike, and the hotel allows free and secure parking for motorbikes within their courtyard, there was room enough for 8 bikes. breakfast was of a high standard and quality.
Location being very close to the hub of the city, with bars and restaurants a plenty.
No air con (fan provided) but this would not stop me from booking again or recommending to others.

The hotel staff were so helpful we arrived early and was able to check in straight away, we were also upgraded free of charge and had a lovely room

The room was lovely and clean, the hotel was in the town centre and close to the main square for restaurants and bars etc all in all a great stay

Wow! What a fabulous welcome and a special place for us to park our motorbikes. Our rooms were spacious and nicely decorated with all amenities. Comfortable beds and quality bed linen and towels. Brilliantly close to the central town square where there was so many bars and restaurants to chose from. We ate seafood at Yes & Co.
We couldn’t stay longer.

The room and bed were small, we were told we had been upgraded to a standard double. Lord knows what we were going in originally then.

Very lovely lady on reception, invited us to park our Vespas in the courtyard! Simple hotel in excellent location. Very close to the main square which was a pleasant surprise. Good breakfast at reasonable price.

An excellent location that is less than a minutes walk from the main square. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and allowed me to park my motorcycle inside the courtyard. The breakfast was also very good. I will stay again later in the year.

just an earlier breakfast option. as it was a Saturday morning breakfast started at 8 AM. Too late for us as we lad to leave to catch our ferry.

lovely helpful staff, the location was excellent and the general areas of the hotel were pleasant.
beds were small, in tiny rooms with little space and the mattresses were short and not that comfortable - too old/soft

Public parking outside hotel. Great breakfast v comfortable room, nothing to reduce satisfaction with an excellent stopover.
Also Bethune is a fine city/town worth a visit on its own account.
The grand Place is genuinely impressive.
Room was perhaps too warm and it was hard to open the window.

Ibis have retained the classic décor which fits well with the beautiful surroundings. Bethune has a charming atmosphere and the main square close to Hotel Eden boasts the best French restaurant I've encountered in that country. My room was comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was adequate and the staff efficient.
No hotel restaurant or bar, although within very easy walking distance there was an excellent restaurant. Breakfast, which is reasonable, nevertheless comes with a surcharge. The staff, as with most Ibis hotels, were coolly professional, but not overtly welcoming, and the rooms can be a little hard to find (mine was amongst those to be found in a passage entered by a closed door with no markings on it. I only tried it because it didn't have a No Entry sign or a room number).

Well appointed hotel, nicely decorated good big bathroom. Easy walk to the centre with many good restaurants. Bethune is a pretty and prosperous town well worth a visit.

We were given a basic economy room the hotel charged 65 e for I paid much more to booking .com
It was very very small lighting very dim
Child size toilet and bath no internet
Had to wait 10 mins for hot water
One side of bed right up to electric radiator which couldn’t turn off
It looked like a lovely hotel if we had had a decent room
The fault was with Booking .com not with the hotel as we didn’t get what we had paid for and would appreciate an explanation and a refund
