The home was beautiful and a great space for our group of 10. There was lots of room to spread out and the kitchen was great and well stocked for lots of meals at the house. We loved how close it was to the beach and visited every day sometimes twice.

Eight women, who grew up in Miller, shared a reunion stay in this comfortable house. Three actually, lived on Vermillion from the 50's to the 80's. Our visit felt very familiar and nostalgic. A photo shoot at the beach, at the Pavilion where we had our proms, and in front of the Wirt H.S. sign will help us remember our stay. Thank you, Margaret.

This house is within a very short walk to the beach and easy drives to the State and National Dunes Parks. The hiking is fabulous! Beach, Dunes, forest and rare Black Oak Savana. There are not many dining choices nearby BUT the kitchen has wonderful appliances making dinners in the house fun to prepare. The local Jewel grocery has a surprising variety and quality of fresh food. Margret, the owner does a very good job responding to needs or concerns that come up. She clearly cares about the property and the VRBO guests.

This home has an great open concept for everyone to engage. We really enjoyed the spacious deck which was nice day and night. The beach was wonderful. The home was more equipped than expected. We would stay here again.

We where here visiting family living in Chicago and wanted to get outside the city and thought we would try the beach/Lake Michigan. Great beach with easy access from the property. Great first impression walking into the property - clean and spacious and accommodating. Back yard was completely fenced which was important to us because we had our two dogs with us, a Golden Retriever and Mixed Breed, both the same size. Thanks to the host for having a place that accommodated pets. We would consider this house in the future. Suggestions for making the property even more accommodating - have more than one key for house access or switch to a combination lock; mention the wifi name as well as the password; have lights that come on with the switch in the bedrooms; the showers did not have a mixing, cold and hot water, capability that worked - had to go to the water heater and turned down the temperature - mention this or have a plumber trouble shoot the mixing capability ; the sprinkler system came on early every morning and soaked part of the deck and the cushions for the deck furniture - can the sprinkler system be adjusted; clean the cushion covers for the deck furniture - these where removed from the deck box - they where completely dirty and soaking wet - they had not been removed in quite awhile it seemed - the deck box had firewood in it and water in the bottom which kept the cushions wet. We enjoyed our stay here and would consider this beach location and the house in the future.

We love the house and the location. This was our third year at the same place. Owner was easy to communicate with, and addressed everything quickly.

Overall the property is beautiful with really nice decor and amenities. Beds are super comfortable and the kitchen was really well appointed. There are lots of different areas in the house to congregate which is good for a larger group or family. Our kids especially enjoyed the piano, foosball table, and ping pong table! The location 1.5 blocks from the beach is amazing. We thought there would be more going on in downtown Miller but sadly the town looks pretty burnt out. You'll have to go further afield to find some nice restaurants and shops. The property owners are very nice. That said, we had a bit of an issue with one of the toilets not functioning and the response was slow and the issue was never resolved.

This house easily handled 14 guests without feeling crowded. Between the beach, hot tub, nice backyard, game room and all the games everyone was entertained. Would recommend to anyone

House was exactly as described and was very clean and spacious! Great house for family time and playing games. Short walk to the beach which was very private and not many people there at all. Beach very clean! Would recommend bringing all of your groceries etc. as not many clean places in town to shop , but it worked! Took Train into Chicago for a day- very easy process and station very close to house. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

We had a nice time and the proximity to the beach was great. Communications with the host we’re good. The hot tub and furniture are getting some age on them but it all worked. The kids loved the ping pong and fooseball tables.

We enjoyed our stay at Millers Beach and would definitely choose this vacation home again. It is a short walk to the beach and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our time together.

Amazing house and super location. It was the perfect family retreat after spending our days at my grandsons baseball tournament.

We had a blast!! Every amenity you could think of was provided with this home!! So much for our young and adult children to do in this home! Clean and spacious as well. 10/10, will definitely recommend and will stay again when visiting my in-laws!!

We enjoyed our time away at Miller Beach. The design of the house is lovely - very mid-century modern vibe which we liked. The ping-pong table and games were a real hit with everyone and provided some enjoyable inside time when the weather wasn't conducive to swimming. There were only 5 of us in our party but if you are coming with a larger group you might want to supplement with additional beach chairs and if you have smaller children maybe some smaller glasses for drinks as many of the glasses were pretty big. This house was the perfect reunion spot for our family members who traveled from three different states. Nice back yard for the little ones, lots of space to interact or read. The playroom was well-equipped and the piano was a nice surprise. We had perfect weather and hit the beach almost every day.

We had an amazing time. The place was clean and perfect for our group of family/friends. Walking distance to the beach. Will be back!

Great house with plenty of space, great kitchen and entertaining area, close to beach & lots of games for kids to enjoy. Saw a cute patriotic parade, went to candy factory in nearby town - there are options in case weather doesn’t cooperate! Would definitely recommend.

The house was comfortable, clean, and in the perfect location for our family beach/dunes vacation. It’s big enough that we never felt crowded. We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything advertised online in the description about the property is accurate. Great home for the family to spend the week. Can hang out inside or out. Walk to the beach is 5 minutes and not much beach traffic making for a relaxing experience. Will definitely look up this place again for our next trip to Lake MI.

The house is in a wonderful location to the beach. It is a short walk on quiet roads to the beach. My family and my two brother's families enjoyed the week immensely. Even with the weather in the 70s, we were able to enjoy time in the water and on the beach.

The house was fantastic for hanging out with my family. The hot tub, large screen TVs, ping pong table, etc. kept us entertained while we weren’t at the beach or walking on the sand dune trails nearby. The fenced in backyard allowed us to relax outside with our dog in a private worry free setting. I will likely return as it is a great meeting place for our family (who lives in Cleveland and Chicago).

Comfortable backyard that includes hot tub, gas grill and large sitting area. The beach is a 4 or 5 minute walk down a quiet neighborhood street. Most grocery stores and dining options are 10-15 minutes away. Indiana Dunes visitor center is 15-20 minutes away, but there are many trails closer. Lighthouse outlet shopping in Michigan City is an easy 25 minute drive. We are glad we stayed and would again!

Good interior remodel with all new appliances and furniture. Nicely done maximizing the space available. Comfortable for 8-10 people. We had 12 in our party and had to use a few extra mattresses that are readily available. Owner was responsive and tended to few minor issues that came up in a timely manner. Miller beach is about a 5 minute walk on the paved road in front of the house but is well worth it!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL home. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. Me and my friends had a great time chilling in different areas of the house. It felt like home!

The house was clean and full of options for fun - games, ping pong, etc. Loved the short walk to the beach even on the cold winter evenings.

We were a group (2 families) of 9 and there was more than enough space for sleeping, adults hanging out and kids having play space. Margaret was wonderful and very responsive to communication both before and during our stay. We were there for Thanksgiving so did a LOT of cooking and I have to say this was the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen in any VRBO (pots, pans, bakeware, utensils, dishes, serving bowls and plastic leftover containers). We loved the quiet neighborhood and short walk to the beach. Highly recommend this property.
