I will very highly recommend this house! Owner is super responsive and house is very cozy and spacious (we were 6 adults and 6 grown up kids). Kids loved the game room! We will be back for sure. Neighborhood is awesome (close to skiing) and very much family friendly.

We has a great stay at this house! The pictures don't do it justice. The design of the home is very Tahoe and whimsical! The layout is great for traveling with teens. Huge bunk room, a playstation, two TVs, dart board and a pool table all on the lower level and a spacious open concept kitchen, dining and living room (with 3 bedrooms) on the upper level. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the check in and out was a breeze. Dave was very communicative and super helpful with any questions I had. We will definitely be going back and I would recommend this house!

We loved this place! We had 14 people, the majority who were small children. The bunk room was perfect for them. This house had everything we needed! I do a cookies with the kids day every year where I host my nieces and nephews to make cookies while parents can do some running around. This year I decided to do something special and host them overnight and Dave’s place rocked.
Getting in and out was easy. Directions are clear. Everything was easy to follow.
Dave was especially kind when my sister in law realized she left her wedding rings on the nightstand. He alerted the cleaning company and put me in direct contact. I was able to meet up with the company owner the next day to retrieve the rings.
We used the association passes provided to go up to road to the sno park where we got discounted guest rates with the passes and had a blast!
I would definitely stay here again. All of the household amenities made our stay extra easy and comfortable.

Three generations of our family stayed here. The house was perfect for our stay. The downstairs was perfect for our teenagers age 14-18. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with lovely walks nearby. We had a little snow and enjoyed the warm fireplace. This house is well stocked with everything you need. The beds were fantastic. The owner responded within minutes to any questions I had. We will definitely stay here again.

Overall, we were really happy with our accommodations. Dave was very responsive and answered questions quickly.
During the check-in process, the access door to the garage, which we were given the code for, was locked. The code for the deadbolt worked, but the keyed door, itself, was locked, so we couldn't gain access. After a few of us made multiple calls, we finally got in contact with Dave and got in through the garage door.
The rest of the vacation was great, other than minor issues like only 2 rolls of toilet paper in the 2 bathrooms which had to last 3 nights with 8 of us in the house.
After all was said and done, we still really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back next year for our annual golf tournament again.

Dave's house was one of the best we have stayed at, we loved the great room and well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds and the amazing game and pool table room downstairs. We enjoyed cooking, watching movies, playing games together and loved the location easy access to Truckee, Donner Ski Resort. Lovely quiet neighborhood. Definitely want to stay again and in the summertime too.

We loved our stay here. The floorplan made it possible for us to have a 'quiet' floor and a floor for fun and games. The best equipped kitchen I've ever experienced in a rental, and best game room too. Necessary to bring shampoos and soap and extra toilet paper, but very well worth it. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful multi family home with game and bunk room
This was our 4th stay at Dave’s cabin. We absolutely love the fully stocked home, updated appliances, and game room. Cabin is located less than 5 miles from Donner Lake and a short drive to Lake Tahoe, the Truckee River and hiking trails a few house away.
We love staying at Dave’s place.

Just what we needed!
We stayed in the home over Thanksgiving with two families and my Mom. The home was big enough that everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and serve meals for a large group. The kids (and the adults) really enjoyed the pool table and dart board. Check in and out were simple. We would definitely stay here again.

We had the best time at Dave’s mountain home. This was our second year staying here. We will continue to rent Dave’s as long as he will let us.

Amazing Cabin
This is a beautiful cabin. It was perfect for us. It was clean and spacious. We loved the kitchen, the multiple bathrooms and bedrooms. We ate dinner every night outside. My son loved the games room. It was a pretty quiet neighborhood and close to everything in Truckee. I appreciated the owners communicating all the details in advance, including a tip on a great hiking trail down the street - thanks! We'd stay here again.

We spent Thanksgiving week at Dave and Kim's beautiful cabin. I cannot say enough good things about it!!! It was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and stocked with anything and everything you might need! The kids had so much fun in the downstairs game room and bunk room. The cousins spent most of their time downstairs playing pool and darts while the adults relaxed upstairs on the patio. The kitchen was extremely well appointed and all of the beds were very comfortable. The owners were very responsive and worked with us on some last minute changes.

Fabulous hosts, location, home & decor
We just returned from a wonderful stay at Dave and Kim's place in Tahoe Donner. Their home is one of the best decorated and well-stocked places that we have stayed in Tahoe Donner. VERY family and dog friendly. Our golden retriever felt very at home! The game room is just a delight and location to both Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake is just ideal. Dave and Kim are excellent hosts and communicated every detail so well. We hope to return to their home again. Thanks for a great stay!

Best stay in Tahoe-Donner!!!
We had a great time staying at Dave and Kim's home. There is plenty of space for kids in the bunk room with an adjoining game room which was a HUGE hit for the 17-year-old boys - the only time we saw the boys when it was dinner and they needed to come to the main level of the house.
The house is fully equipped with everything you can possibly think of---beach towels, coolers and much more.
The kitchen is fully stocked and enough space for multiple families to eat each inside and out.
I would recommend this house and would book again next summer.

Excellent stay!
This house is in a great location to get to multiple ski resorts. Plenty of space outside for kids to play in the snow. Easily fits 2 large families with lots of bed space, fully stocked kitchen and games for all ages. Owners were communicative, friendly and helpful. We loved staying and look forward to more visits!
