About this cabin rental
Located in Michigan, this lovely cabin for $277 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Nestled amongst our private Leelanau County hardwoods, you can find your private, relaxing getaway. This cozy studio-style cabin is just for those seeking to escape the stressful daily grind. When you enter the private two-track across from our friendly neighbor's house at 10480 S. Center Hwy until you depart, this will be your home away from home. The entrance will take you between two metal eagles. This charming little cabin features a fully stocked kitchen, handmade furniture, accents, and a king-size bed. The pristine bathroom boasts clean, easy-to-use amenities, including a sliding glass walk-in shower. From the living room area is a modest closed-in porch with beautiful wooded scenery and a quaint bistro set where you can enjoy a bottle of complimentary Leelanau County wine. The cabin is conveniently located near many activities, restaurants, and beaches. The TART trail is approximately 1/2 mile from the cabin, with Traverse City and Suttons Bay nearby. The nearest local winery is a short 2-minute drive north, deeper into Leelanau Peninsula wine country. It is up to you whether you desire comfortable solitude while remaining in the cabin or prefer exploring the unique sites and activities the area offers. The owners were in communication from the day that we booked until checkout. The property was very clean and welcoming with everything that you could possibly want/need. Ideal location for us, in the woods and quiet, but near Traverse City and the peninsulas. We will return!

This is such a nice property and very private. We really enjoyed our time just relaxing, but also seeing what Traverse City has to offer. Several recommendations were left on what to do! Overall very pleasant and needed weekend!

Beth and Terry do an amazing job of making their guests feel welcome and providing ideas of fun things to do in the area. My husband and I sent our 8th wedding anniversary in their cozy cabin and it was absolutely beautiful! We look forward to coming back again!♥️

Very nice little house in a private wooded setting. Central location with most places in Traverse City being within a 15 min drive. Property had many thoughtful amenities, such as bikes, a grill, and a full kitchen. House was very clean and tastefully decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

We've stayed on the Leelanau Peninsula many times, but this was by far the best location. The cabin was secluded and yet right in the middle of everything. If it had had a washer/dryer, it would have been beyond perfect for our active getaways. Still, we would definitely choose the Cozy Cabin again and again for less than a week's stay.

The Cozy Cabin was the cleanest, most well stocked vacation rental I have ever stayed in. The kitchen has everything you need to stay in a cook, but there are tons of delicious restaurants in the area if you want to go out. The cabin is filled with little touches that make it feel like home from the eggs in the fridge, to beach towels in the wardrobe. Terry and Beth have thought of everything you will need. We’ll recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy spot to get away for a few days!

We loved every minute of our stay at the Cozy Cottage! Everything was perfect, from the farm fresh eggs the hosts left, to the comfortable bed! We enjoyed using the bikes and visiting the many wineries and breweries in the area. Our favorite was sitting atop Mt. Margaret on the converted ski lift swing and watching the sun set. The hosts were super easy to contact and very accommodating. We hope to return!

This is our second visit to the Cozy Cabin and we absolutely loved it. Terry and Beth are wonderful hosts and we had the opportunity to meet them this trip. They are as wonderful in person as you can imagine. The personal touches they provide to welcome their guests (a goodie basket for our anniversary) are extras that let you know they truly care about your stay with them. The cabin is sparkling clean and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We try to be back each evening early to enjoy quiet time on the enclosed porch or the cozy propane stove / fireplace. Thank you both for making our Anniversary wonderful. We will see you both again next year for sure.

From the beautifully decorated interior, endless attention to detail with amenities galore, to the ease and timely communication with Beth and her husband made this was a five star experience. We were so happy with the property. The trails throughout the acreage were marked with fun signs and metal art along the way. The Cozy Cabin was clean and beautiful. It was even decorated for Christmas! It had all new dishes and pans and appliances. Nice linens and even robes to wear. The bed was comfortable. The 4 seasons room was a bonus. We spent many hours sitting and talking and watching nature out the windows. Well done Beth and Terry. You have a gem of a rental. We Will be back!!!
