The screened-in porch also provides access to the elevator which will make hauling your groceries and gear even easier. The ground-level patio is a great place to chill and grill while you splash and play in the large private pool which is sure to be the centerpiece for fun and fellowship. A bright and poised interior is beaming with joyful sunlight and charisma providing a lovely reminder that you are at the beach and to savor the peace of your vacation. This home was designed with guests in mind featuring main bedrooms on both the first and second floor as well as an additional living area upstairs, equipped with another large flatscreen TV. No detail has been overlooked to ensure your comfort. The gorgeous open kitchen features granite countertops and top-of-the-line appliances fit for any Lowcountry feast. Magnificent hard surface flooring, coastal accents, and exceptional furnishings will ensure you have Tons of Fun during your Edisto vacation for years to come. Things to Know: No smoking, please. No pets, please. * The pool can be heated for an additional charge. There is a two-night minimum on pool heating which must be arranged through the rental office. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles. 2 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 152 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Overall, fine. Floors not the cleanest. Pool heater was broken. Internet went out and was only partially fixed. Great location, nice porches.

Lovely home with a well stocked kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, and an absolutely superb back porch. The elevator was wonderful especially for those with bad knees. A main floor half bath was very nice, too. Easy walk to the beach on either end of the block.
Some seasonal issues. The pool was advertised to be heated, but unfortunately the heater did not work. Vacasa did their best to resolve it. We later found that the gas fireplace wouldn't light, and since both are dependent on gas service, this is an opportunity for Vacasa/homeowner to ensure that seasonal maintenance happens. I would rather give the home 4.5 stars than 4.

Great house for a small group of girlfriends. Nice seating areas to gather inside and out. Loved the pool! Short walk or drive to the beach and short drive to restaurants and shops. Walking trails nearby. What a fantastic time!

We enjoyed a long weekend at Edisto for the New Years holiday! The house was perfect! Rooms/beds and bathrooms enough for our group of 7 to be comfortable and have plenty of space. Kitchen was well stocked and spacious! Loved the large table for meals and games. Furniture was comfortable and clean! Lots of room under the house for cars! Back yard was awesome and the pool looked so inviting! Close to beach with an easy walk ! Everyone was happy!!

Beautiful floor plan with ample space for lots of kids or two families. Pool is beautiful and we had it heated so very comfortable. Lots of time was spent on screen porch and the front porch. Walking distance to Whaleys and just a beautiful location. Beach is a very short walk and the sunrises are gorgeous

Upon arrival we immediately went to the backyard area to scope out the pool area. The pool was nice and refreshing since it was a warm day. The house itself is gorgeous and very spacious. My favorite area was the kitchen can we say huge. The stove was gas but we loved cooking with gas. There were also a great selection of books, all the ladies on our girls trip enjoyed the books (James Patterson fans). Overrall the house was great, in a great location being so close to the beach. We enjoyed every minute of it. Can’t wait to come back

We had a great stay at Tons of Fun. The house is thoughtfully designed and appointed making for a very comfortable stay. We called about 2 small, non-urgent issues and they were both addressed immediately. The heated pool and the yard gave the kids so many options for playing. We were really excited for our vacation. After a long trip, checking was a breeze and the house looked awesome. Had a great first night, after our arrival.
Then things turned south.
We noticed some ants (big ones) in one of the upper bathroom. Ok, could happen.
Imagine you're six years old, you turn on the bathtub faucet and over 20 large ants burst out into the tub. Not fun.
Then you go downstairs and find a cockroach on the stairs. A live cockroach.
We called the management. They called the pest management company. The gentlemen from Apex Edisto was super nice and professional. Found the source in the attic of the carpenter ants and the roaches. Sprayed the stuff, and as explained, ants were coming down for the next day or two.
Given our long trip and plans, we did not leave. We moved fully to the first floor, a family of four crammed in one bedroom. Watching and fighting ants coming down.
This can happen; maybe. However: (i) nobody from the management company said even "we're sorry" and (ii) we realized, thanks to the pest management guy, that there were ant traps placed all over both bathrooms -- upper corners, corners behind the bins, etc.
It felt like a trap on visitors. Anybody who set a foot to the property must have seen the ants, there were many. The traps placed upstairs suggest the ants were not a sudden incident. We don't remember the rental ad mentioning ants & roaches but they were there and expecting us.
We informed the local vacasa manager about all this but haven't heard back from him since.
We fell into a trap. No communication from the management. At the end, we were glad our stay wasn't too long and we could leave.

We did have “Tons of Fun”
The home is lovely, bright, very clean and inviting. The kitchen is well equipped. It was so nice to have sheets & towels provided. The pool was terrific for 5 days, but on Saturday we had a problem & we had to clean it. We were told the pool company came, but it was clear they must have gone to the wrong house. Also,, the elevator was out of order. We counted on it to unload & lload our cars.
In spite of these misfortunes, we had a terrific week & will rent Tons of Fun again.

Great beach week
We had never been to Edisto Island before and I think we lucked out renting this house ... it’s right where you want to be on the island. Beach access is right around the corner and it’s the side of the island that captures the best sunsets. It’s also only a 2minute walk to Whaley’s Bar and Restaurant. The house is beautiful and very well laid out for a few couples or a couple families to enjoy a week at the beach. Well stocked kitchen. I’ll rent this house again.

Wonderfully relaxing trip
A last minute decision to go on vacation during a crazy year turned out to be the best decision we’ve ever made. This house was everything we could’ve hoped for. Updated features and fixtures, tons of light within the home, newer furniture, fantastic pool, distance to the beach, ease of access to property. Instantly felt comfortable upon arrival to the home which is sometimes hard going to an unknown place. Would absolutely recommend to a family with teens and younger children. Plenty of space to accommodate a large family and not be on top of each other. Will absolutely consider booking for future vacations.
