Marie is a friendly and caring host. The breakfast was excellent ! The ambiance of the property is amazing. A bonus to have a parking space

The room above my room had no insolation on the stairs or the floor boards, hence I heard every foot step which was frustrating when trying to sleep.

The host is a very nice lady, who gave us helpful advice about the town, places to visit, where to eat. The breakfast was very good, with nice bakery, special honey, special jams, good coffee. The room was clean and quiet. Location is good, at 19 minutes walk to the center. We had free parking just near the property. The house has a nice garden, where you can have your breakfast, if the weather allows it.

We spent only one night there, on our way to Bordeaux, and for us it was just fine.

Very friendly and helpful host who showed us her lovely terraced gardens.

The property was rather a long way out from the city centre (good 15 minute walk).

Perfect place stay overnight on the way to another destination, and for those people coming from the North of France, Poitiers is a perfect stop. The beds and the bathrooms for nice in both of our rooms (the kids and ours), recently remodeled, and we took the breakfast in the garden (included in the price). The host makes her own jam from the fruit of her own garden, so be sure to try some of that. Also, we had a bit of time after breakfast and she encouraged us to walk through her backyard, up the steps to see the pool, the fruit trees and lovely view. Do that as well. Also, the host directed us to park right next to the place which was perfect and very much appreciated.

As you may have seen, there are no TVs in the room, which shouldn’t be a big deal because the Wifi was fine and the stairs are a bit steep, so if you have trouble carrying your suitcase or walking up narrow stairs, then that could be a problem.
