Great facilities for family stay

I had missed that a cot and high chair were available. Promote this more!

The house is large and comfortable with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs and a 1/2 bath downstairs. The kitchen and dining area are large. There was plenty of room for our group of 4 people. The backyard was pretty and private with outdoor patio furniture. The neighborhood is quiet, and it's a 5 minute walk to a shopping center that includes an Aldi and a Tesco. It is also easy to get onto the highway to reach various points of interest, including Culloden which is about 15 minutes away. The keys were conveniently placed in a lockbox with a code, and the hosts were available and responsive by phone or text.

We would have appreciated hand towels, coffee, tea, sugar, and basic condiments. Due to a car rental breakdown, we arrived at 0200, and there wasn't even a tea bag in the house. The kitchen was completely bare. We not only had to buy a lot of the basics, but we also had to buy matches to light the cooktop. We left the matches and some tea and sugar for the next group. The saute pans need to be replaced. They are very old, and the nonstick coating is completely scratched up and in such bad condition that it would be toxic to use them for cooking.

Fab house with free parking & great location for our trip. Will definitely be back!

The house was lovely and well sized and the facilities were very comfortable

The dishwasher was full when we came in and having stripped the beds on departure found some of the duvets and pillows were stained, some of the bulbs didn’t work and the flush on the downstairs toilet was broken, the house was very creaky and you can hear everything in the house however this isn’t anyone’s fault, just a drawback of the house itself

Location and layout of house was great. Cleanliness was top quality and ease of booking, arrangement for keysafe worked well. Also everyone commented on the lovely pattern on the glassware. The house is well equipped.

Some of the light bulbs needed replaced and there was only a big towel for each person - would be good to have a hand towel for drying hair too. The house is well lived in with some marks on the walls etc but this didn’t matter to our stay as it shows the house is well used.

The boiler was a little noisy, but apart from that it was 10 out of 10.

The house was ideal for the number in our party and gave enough space and privacy. It was also well located for us as we had a car and found travelling around easy. The neighbourhood was lovely to walk around and we were fortunate with good weather for that.

The television seems to switch itself on - it did this once when we were out, and once at around 6:30-7:00am which was disconcerting. The cooker took a bit of working out how to operate, and we couldn't use the grill as we had hoped as there wasn't the appropriate grill tray/thing. At least two of the outside chairs are broken and not usable. One small glass was cracked, though we spotted this before using.
