Deer Manor ist eine komplett renovierte Lake Texoma Hütte mit viel Platz, Privatsphäre und erstklassigem Angeln! Die Hütte ist von Bäumen umgeben, hat aber einen langen, offenen Hof, der auf mehr als 100 Acres stark bewaldetem Corps of Engineers Grundstück steht, das eine Fülle von Wildtieren wie Truthahn, Waschbär, Füchse und natürlich Hirsche unterstützt. Beginnen Sie Ihren Morgen mit Kaffee aus den riesigen Fenstern des Wohnzimmers mit Blick auf unser wunderschönes Baumhaus und beobachten Sie die Vögel und andere Wildtiere.
Gute Wander- und Spazierwege führen vom Deer Manor durch das Corps-Anwesen und direkt zum Seeufer, aber halten Sie nicht dort an. Fühlen Sie sich frei, Ihr Fernweh zu befriedigen und wandern Sie auf den vielen Wegen, die sich durch den Wald schlängeln.

Deer Manor is one of the best properties our family has stayed at. First of all, its location was ideal. We all loved the walking trails right off the property. The kids enjoyed biking all over and going down to Lake Texoma. All the activities on the property; horseshoes, geocaching and treasure hunting made our Labor Day weekend memorable.
Also, the interior was exceptionally clean and all of the decor, bedding, and games kept us quite comfortable.

Absolutely perfect cabin for a quiet getaway or to set up base camp to explore the area! Location is tucked away from any noise of roads, etc. Cabin is well-equipped but retains the rustic, wilderness cabin feel. We really enjoyed our escape at this well-equipped and meticulously planned cabin. Can't wait to book it again and again.

My family and I had the absolute best weekend in this cozy cabin. The cabin has everything you could need and more. The kids all had their own bunks and loved it. We spent as much time as possible enjoying the gorgeous property. My husband quickly became obsessed with bird watching. The golf cart was an added plus. We can’t wait to come back in the fall. We will be sharing this little piece of heaven with everyone we know. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! ❤️

We have stayed at this location multiple times. Its the perfect out of the way place with an excellent size property to enjoy. Its close to Mill Creek marina which is important for our group. It is a smaller place but it works fine for us.

The property is beautiful and peaceful! Everything that you could imagine nature to be. The house itself was so clean and welcoming, with that touch of country living. I never wanted to leave. The hosts are awesome and quickly answered anytime I had questions (before and after the trip). Everything you need for cooking - except the food of course, lots of spices, coffee, small cabinet full of things in case you forgot something. I am super excited to go back in the fall and see the beautiful fall colors. If you are looking for a great getaway, this is the place to go!

Beautiful home near Lake Texoma. This was our 2nd stay. Already planning another. The land is surrounded by large trees and is gated, which is a nice privacy feature. We love!!

Loved the place, the big windows let you enjoy the view, especially when its over 100 degrees. Only an hour away but feels like you’ve gotten away from the hustle and bustle of life. Very quiet, no noise other than the animals. Had a little mix up in the beginning but Daryl took care of us and we are grateful for that! Reason for the 4 star on cleanliness.

Great place to stay, very clean and all the amenities you need. Quick easy drive to and from the boat ramp at Mill Creek Marina. Parking is a little tight at the property but overall great place.

We were so impressed with Deer Manor. The cabin is beautifully decorated and has all the things you would need to feel right at home! We had a mechanical issue with the A/C and the Owners had someone come out immediately!! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay on Lake Texoma.

Life has gotten hectic. We need a few days away from it all. This place was perfection! The cabin is beautiful, clean, and cozy. We especially loved the huge patio and the wide open view. We’ll definitely be back again soon!!

We stayed at Deer Manor over spring break and loved it! Great house with all the amenities of home, plenty of outside activities and ample room for the kids to run and play. The owners take great care of the property and provide everything you’ll need and more for a relaxing getaway! We will be back to finish our search for the hidden treasure!

Adorable little cabin with a beautiful lot of trees and open spaces! Outdoor lighting by the fireplace with music to add to the ambiance. Beds were comfy and warm! Everything has been magic. The nature is gorgeous, the house is cozy and lovely, with stunning views of the forest. We loved every part of staying indoors as well as venturing outside. We’ll return in the summertime to be at the beach and do some fishing. Thank you for creating beautiful memories for our family.

This was our second time staying here and it was still perfect! Something to do for everyone! My husband enjoyed bird and deer watching, walking down to the lake to fish, and using the fireplace since it was freezing outside! My daughter enjoyed exploring outside and swinging on the tire swing! My dog enjoyed running freely in the large open areas! And I enjoyed the scenery and spending quality time with my loved ones! If you are looking for a place to stay in this area, you must stay here!! Can’t wait to come back!

We needed a getaway. We needed to unplug and spend time together. Stay was relaxing. We played basketball a lot. We rode the golf cart (although we probably would not rent golf cart again. Battery runs down pretty fast and makes you worried to go very far.) We also enjoyed the grill and played lots of Monopoly! Comfortable
Beds and everything was clean. Bring extra trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels. We had to go to the store to get more. Brookshires is 10 min away.
We hiked on the property down to the lake and also went to wildlife preserve nearby.
Just what we needed! Rental was just as described on VRBO site and just as nice as pictures.

We had a great few nights here the grounds are just beautiful, our kids loved the hammocks to lazy in and the tire swing. Cosy cabin.

Cabin was perfect and fully stocked! Location was perfect! The little ones played, dogs loved the lake, and the adults got to hang out and enjoy! Golf cart rides, hikes to the lake (private shore), basketball, frisbee, campfires, hammock swinging, grilling….. I could go on and on! The cabin had all the toys and games you could ever want. Our family will ABSOLUTELY be back to Deer Manor!!

Fantastic place! Highly recommend especially for family/families with younger children as so many available activities and gear that they keep in the Rec Shed. The cabin and property was well-maintained. Easy access to trails and the lake. Definitely a location for those that prefer to be outdoors although I can see with what they keep inside the cabin being there in the winter could be enjoyable as well. Perfectly stocked kitchen

Nice property
Property has very spacious private yard, cabin nicely decorated and comfortable. Fire pit area is great! Love the hammocks and listening to nature. Outdoor shower came in handy too! Lake is about half mile away, so property is not on the water. There are some trails from the property where you can walk to lake or just hike. Kayaks were nice to take down to the lake area. Golf cart would have been great to have to drive around exploring area and to drive down to lake, however found out it wasn’t working after we got there. Listing also noted bicycles which were not there either. Overall we liked the property, and the nice large outdoor area. Very clean.

Awesome cabin!
This property was the best we have stayed in yet. Not only is it a beautiful cabin, they have thought of everything. A few things we didn’t expect that may be helpful in planning your trip with littles: there is a pack n play, safe rails for the bunks and a sound machine in the bunk room. They also have pet beds and a crate next to the washer and dryer. They generously provided laundry detergent, dryer sheets and dish pods. Overall everything was working well, very clean and perfectly inviting. We loved staying here!

Great Family Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cute and peaceful cabin. We wished there were more beach locations, but enjoyed what we had. We will definitely be going back!

Great Getaway!
The entire place was great! The communication was the best as well. Owner seemed easy to talk with, very attentive, and was great about the golf cart. The owners took a lot of time, effort, and thoughtfulness when creating this experience for us. We will be back again soon.

So much to do yet remote!
This was our 3rd stay in this awesome VRBO! We love the large windows and great views, the hosts have everything you need in the kitchen for a comfortable stay, and there’s so much to do outside! Hike a short little trail to the lake, play horseshoes, go on the scavenger hunt, ride bikes, grill and eat on the patio, watch birds, have a campfire, or take a short drive to the wildlife refuge center. If you have a boat, bring it! The marina is a mile or two away. We love this place as it’s also quiet and secluded. It’s always our choice for a quick getaway from DFW, and the hosts are friendly, helpful and quick to respond if you have a need.

Restful Retreat!
I had invited my grown kids to join me last minute but they were busy so it was just me and my dog, Bacon! After a challenging year in education and my daughter's graduation, I was not mad about the time alone in this location! The beach was a little further away that I expected, but we made it to the trails to see the beach, and the property has so much to do itself. My dog and I relaxed in the yard on the hammocks, on the porch, took golf cart rides, went to Island View Park Beach and rented a shelter for the day and had a great time. The kitchen has everything needed. Not a lot of restaurants nearby but Brookshires Grocery provided for easy to make meals. I went on a sunset cruise the last night I was there. BEAUTIFUL! The only thing I think I was missing was a screendoor to keep the door open in the cool mornings,/evenings without the bugs.

Refreshing
What a beautiful and refreshing place to visit! You rarely have to leave the grounds, because of so many things to do, right on the property!
The selection of yard games and hammocks made for a restful afternoon, when we arrived. The Parker’s truly thought of everything inside and out. (They were also most accommodating with our travel timeline and a slight hiccup that arose during our visit.)
Each morning we were able to watch the birds and wildlife as they visited the feeders. (Beautiful to photograph!)
With access to the water, through the tree line, we enjoyed playing in sand, fishing, hiking the trails, and geocaching.
The home is so well appointed and the kids adored the bunks, tire swing and metal detectors!
We look forward to a repeat visit.
Side note: the day we did venture out- we ate at Frank’s, and highly recommend it!

Cute little cabin
This property is very nice and is well equipped. The owners were very responsive to all of our questions as well. The nearby shed had a lot of fun equipment for exploring the property. Some areas for improvement would be cleanliness. We found dust in some parts of the cabin. Also although the welcome book says that we can explore the backyard, we could not go much further as there was a property which had a sign for trespassing. But other than these two items, the cabin is a nice little getaway !!
