Three of us old friends planned our gathering and loved our stay at the Wet Feet Retreat. House was absolutely perfect. Close to everything. Had every single thing we needed - even things we didn't know we needed. Was clean and modern and very homey and comfortable. Weeki Wachee / Spring Hill is a wonderful laid back town - can't wait to return.

Cute house, very clean. We had a great time on the river. Parking was a little tight with our boat, but overall a fantastic experience. Kitchen was a great size and the little screened in patio was a blessing with the mosquitos at night.

Stayed for a weekend with family for a girls trip and had a lot of fun! Enjoyed the swim mat and kayaks. Everyone loved the beds and it just felt very cozy and comfy! Also got to see 3 manatees and a dolphin from the dock 😊 Would recommend staying there!

This property has a great location. It’s a very short paddle to the upper deck for lunch or to hang out at Roger’s park. It also has a floating dock which worked great for getting in and out of our Jon Boat. The Maui mat and kayaks were great to have as well. We were able to see several manatees and even some dolphins while visiting. If you haven’t been to weeki you are missing out!

I have a 14 and 16yr old teens that are obsessed with phones and electronics. This was a wonderful stay, all the water toys were there and available to use. We were able to go kayakings, canoed and paddleboard. My son brought fishing gear and he fished, didn't catch anything with lures. Would definitely stay again. It was also nice having your laundry done so you dont have ti come home and do work.

THE LOCATION TO THE STATE PARK WAS WONDERFUL. WE SPENT A WHOLE DAY AT THE STATE PARK AND TOOK MY GRAND DAUGHTER TO THE MERMAID MAKE OVER IN THE EVENING. THE NEXT DAY WE ENJOYED THE KAYAK AND CONOE GOING DOWN THE RIVER. NICE PLACE!!

The home is very clean and in a wonderful spot. All of the amenities of home. The home is tucked away with a spectacular view of the river. Manatee and dolphin appear in the morning and give a miraculous view while you drink your coffee.
Booking was simple and easy and communication from owners was informative.
We will book again.

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Definitely my favorite VRBO stay so far. Being on the canal instead of the main river is the best option if you are looking for a relaxing time. They had everything you could possibly need if you want to cook but any food delivery services were readily available as well. We kayaked, saw a mama manatee and her baby twice (once on the main while kayaking and once from our dock) The fire pit by the water was amazing and the beds were super comfy. Owners were also very responsive and pleasant. No crazy cleaning list, just the normal stuff you would do as a guest at any home and basically clean up after yourself. Would stay here again for sure

We had a great time staying at the house. The owner was super responsive & had great kayaks, life jackets & fishing poles. House was clean, great location close to restaurants. The only complaints were the traffic from the main road was loud at night & no bolt on the lock on the back door.

Don't be fooled by some of the neighborhood as you drive into the property. Everything you need and more is at the house. Just as advertised! Great location to get into the kayaks that are provided and check out the manatees. Kitchen was well stocked with restaurants and groceries close by.

Even though the property is very close to other properties in the neighborhood, it was still comfy and cozy. Very clean house and had everything we needed. We had a great time fishing off the dock. We caught mangrove only, but there were a lot of other fish around, just not hungry. We saw manatee each day and even some turtles swimming around. We enjoyed The Upper Deck restaurant and liked exploring the parks nearby and Hernando Beach. Hudson Beach was a nice little place to visit as well with fun restaurants. We really loved all the palm tree forests between Spring Hill and Hernando Beach!

Overall this was a great little place. Everything you could need is there. The bug sprayer out back was an added bonus!
It was unfortunate it rained almost the entire time we were there and it was cold, but the kids still went swimming because the water was warmer than the outside temp.
I think the only improvement that is needed is either new kayaks or getting the "plugs" from a sports store to close up various openings to the hull in all but one of the kayaks. It is very hard to pull them out of the river when there is water inside. Other than that it was excellent and the house was great, enjoyed our time with family there.

We absolutely loved staying here! We are already planning another trip! Weekie Wachee is one of our favorite places to visit and to be able to stay for a week was simply magical! Tyson made the check in process very easy and was very responsive!

This is the second home of the owners we've stayed in and both are very well taken care of and have

There were 6 of us, and 4 were 15 year old boys. We had enough room, towels, bedding and outside toys for everyone. They have a great fire pit for the kids to make their smores and even have the metal skewers available. We saw Manatees from the deck and the property outside is so therapeutic. Everything was close to the property as well. (store, springs, restaurants) I will be making this an annual trip for sure now. Everyone had a blast.

This place worked out perfectly for our family. There is so much to do in the area, and the location of the Wet Feet Retreat is perfect. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was nice to have such a relaxing place to come to at the end of a busy, fun-filled day. We loved everything about the Wet Feet Retreat!

Perfect location, amazing accommodations, plenty of space inside and out, a ton of kayaks and SUP Boards, the list goes on and on. The host was very responsive to all our questions and has gone above and beyond to make sure this house comes with everything you need. This was a much needed get away. The owners answered all of my questions and were quick to respond. Yes there is some paperwork but in my opinion it wasn't a lot. (If I were the property owner I would do the same.) The checking in and out process was super easy as well.
About the property itself....it was amazing! Literally everything you could need or want was available. The home is beautiful, clean and accommodated our large family of 6 with no problems. We loved fishing and swimming right from the dock and the screened in area was a great place to spend time too. We were able to see river otters, manatees and even a dolphin right from the dock. There were tons of games and movies as well to keep the kids entertained at night. (We even did some night fishing) It's maybe a 5 minute paddle to the main river and Roger's Park so the location was perfect! A great neighborhood and so close to everything it seemed like including some fantastic little restaurants. 5+ stars!! Would definitely love to come back!!

We loved this place!! The house is perfect.. comfortable, had everything we needed and wanted.. we kayaked every day.. 15 manatees hung out in front of the house every day.. we caught catfish and perch..we grilled out, we went to dinner in Bayport.. this is a wonderful place to stay..we will be back..Thank you Tyson for checking in on us to see if we needed anything..we had everything we needed and more!!

This property was just what we needed. We loved our stay! My only complaint is we didn't stay long enough! We saw manatees and fish and learned a bit about them. I finally got to try a kayak and paddleboard...now I need a kayak! All the toys (canoe, paddleboards, kayaks, bikes, movies, games etc.) available to us were awesome! The screened-in area on the deck was amazing in the evenings. I didn't ever want to go inside! Tyson was super accommodating and responsive to my questions and requests. I hope to go back but will definitely stay longer next time. Everyone had a good time and even my handicapped husband enjoyed a day on the river kayaking! Thank you for the use of your adorable home and the amazing memories!

Everything was as described. My wife was very happy, and for the first time didn’t want to come home. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the boaters paddle through the canal. Our favorite part was sitting in the screen room in front of the fire pit. Great home away from home.Tyson and Dana were very helpful and responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this rental. We had a nice stay. Very clean and the house layout worked great. On the smaller side but no hallways so no wasted space.
Wonderful outdoor are even better than photos. Lots of hanging out and seating options.
Big selection of kayaks, stand ups and canoes.
It was chilly and low tide so not much activity by the dock. Quick 10 min paddle to hospital hole and we saw manatees and had a wonderful time.

Overall we had a great time staying in Weeki Wachee. We kayaked to see manatees and fished off the dock. We loved the sunsets and sunrise over the water while sitting on the dock. This home has it's pros and cons.
Pros- Location-you are right on the riverway, having kayaks on site was fun, TV services worked well, our host had a quick response time to any questions we had. There was a problem with the dock while staying and he had someone out to look at it the next morning. Unfortunately the problem with the outside TV was not as easy of a fix and we were not able to sit outside and watch college games as we hoped. The king and queen beds were comfortable. Kitchen had most gadgets needed to cook. Neighbors were nice.
Cons- The amount of paperwork the host requires before check-in seems a bit excessive. There are no closets to put your stuff away while staying. We were there 5 days and had to live out of our suitcases. The 3rd "bedroom" is a more of a storage hallway from an add on with an accordion door, with a small half bath attached. It has a twin bed with a trundle, but you can't actually open it all the way and there is no room to move if you do pull out the trundle. For our family of 5 it felt cramped. You can't comfortably sit 5 in the living area to watch TV, but for playing games the layout worked well. The flooring throughout the house was buckling and uneven. Overall the home just had a bit of an older feel.
We would recommend staying at this rental, but keep in mind the quirks that come along with it.

This was our second stay at Wet Feet Retreat. Sometimes things don't live up to your memories. Not true here. We had a great time again. House was comfy and relaxing. Love the new deck! River was beautiful. We kayaked 50 total miles and had 49 manatee sightings. The first day was the best for seeing them because of the cold front. Only got skunked on one outing, otherwise saw at least one every trip. The entire area is a bit of Old Florida charm. We'll be back. A few tips for newbies: Margs at the Upper Deck and fish tacos (and margs) at the Silver Dolphin are a must. The Italian restaurant is to die for! Stop at the little park just south of town. There is an observation tower. You'll see fish and sometimes manatees. The local beach at Pine Island is amazing. Can't wait to come back! We are planning our next trip to the Wet Feet Retreat!

It was a great getaway for myself, my Mom and my 2 adult daughters. We launched our own kayaks at the state park and had a nice paddle back to the house. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the little extras, too! Mom loved the small private room with the 1/2 bath. Very comfortable and quiet. Planning a trip for next year already!!
