The house is nice, centrally located and perfect for 4 to 8 people. We enjoyed our stay. We did have some issues: The coffee doesn't work, the knives are very dull, the TV remotes needed batteries and there were none and the shower in the master suite has a very slippery floor.

Great home in the woods for a peaceful disconnect. Galena Territory and Galena offers a lot of activities so this home offers a wonderful balance.

Overall, we were very impressed by this rental. It was much larger than anticipated, easy to access, and yet very secluded. The only drawback, in my opinion was that it could have been cleaner. The jetted bathtub kicked out a lot of debris when turned on, sinks and shower drains were a little gunky, and we found many ants in the kitchen throughout our two day stay. None of which were deal-breakers, but I would say areas for potential improvement.

We had a ladies weekend getaway this past weekend and the house was perfect. Location was great. We watched wild turkeys running around outside while sipping our coffee. Loved unwinding in the hot tub each evening. Super cozy home. We will definitely return!

We loved our stay at this home. We celebrate my husband's birthday every year in Galena. This home was perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped to prepare family meals. The house was clean and there was plenty of firewood. We had a wonderful girls weekend in this lovely home. The house was better than the photos. We enjoyed the screen porch and large kitchen table. The only suggestion we have would be to add more lamps or brighter light bulbs. The rooms were dark once the sun went down. We rated this house a 5 and it was very clean.

The property was great for our couples weekend getaway. Every bedroom had a king/queen bed and a full bathroom which made it perfect for the 4 couples in our group. We enjoyed sitting on the deck for the majority of our time and utilized the screened in porch when it rained. There was lots of wildlife visible from the deck. The hot tub was a big hit too!

This was the second time we stayed in the house. It is perfect for our sibling and spouse weekend.We all have our own bedroom and bath. We love that it is close to the entrance to the Territory. Probably the only downfall is the parking for three vehicles. There is no actual driveway and the parking area is small and needs work.

The house was perfect! Seven ladies just getting away for a weekend of shopping. The house was clean and ready for our visit. Everything was needed was there including a coffee grinder. The spa was clean and perfect to sit in on a cool November night. Plenty of room, and a nice fireplace. Need to make sure there is newspaper and kindling or a fire starter to get the fire place started for others in the future.

This is a great house for a large gathering of family or friends. It was very clean, a well stocked kitchen, nice fireplace, screened-in porch (we were here in November so used it like a cooler)., lots of bathrooms, and nicely located near the entrance. We would come here again.

We had a friends weekend at this comfortable home in the Galena Territory. The house was large, clean and comfortable. The four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, was perfect for the six of us. We loved the large, well appointed kitchen and the screened in sitting area off of the kitchen. The view was fabulous from the two large decks and the hot tub was amazing. We also loved that it had a wood burning fireplace but wished there had been some dry kindling or fire starters as we were unable to get a fire started. The house is also close to downtown Galena and other area attractions. This house was great and we hope to repeat our trip and stay here again!

We had a wonderful weekend at this home for our anniversary. Location was the best. Close to the golf course for my husband. I enjoyed the easy trip into town for shopping and restaurants. The house had a nice kitchen and grill we used to make dinner. It had a wonderful screened in porch and deck. It was relaxing and so quiet. I recommend this house for anytime of trip to Galena.
