It’s a cozy lovely home for family staying!

We had 5 children under the age of 6 and 5 adults. We woke up to mice droppings every morning in the kitchen, living area that WE had to cleanup daily because we had children playing around in the house. The host was called and they sent cleaners once but were to busy the following day. On the last night, the adults were standing around in the kitchen only to have two mice run through the kitchen. The comment from the host was, "its a part of nature" .We had dry food (chips, cookies etc) on the countertops but had to be thrown away because once we looked on top of the cupboards in the kitchen we found more dropping. We took plenty of pictures of the droppings, traps and an actual rat that was caught one morning, which i have shared with vrbo. We had planned a few dinners at home because not easy to get everyone into a restaurant but the BBQ did not work and again the host was called who sent someone over to fix..."it works but not prefect" so only half the bbq was working. We chose to order in.

Premium property! Great location, great furniture, everything needed!

This is a beautiful home, with the enough beds, enough space, and all of the amenities! Very pleasant spot, and If I'm ever back in town, I'll be sure to look for availability. Mountain views from the balcony! BBQ came in clutch, about 6 minutes from whistler village. Made the reunion weekend one to remember!

We had our annual girls weekend at this property and couldnt have had a better time. The house was perfect- spacious and comfortable while being spotlessly clean. Having the hottub and a deck was an added bonus as well. I would highly recommend this for anyone to stay! Thanks so much!

Beautiful on the inside and out. Close to the lifts which makes it very convenient. Loved staying here.

This property worked well for our 10 member family that included nine adults and one child. The master bedroom and bathroom were very nice. The hot tub worked well. The hot water for showers lasted for all 10 people. The living room and kitchen accommodated us well and were comfortable.
The location of the home was convenient but describing it as Ski in - Ski out is misleading. To get to the slopes you have to walk a couple hundred yards to a trail and then ski down to the slopes via that trail but to get back to the room you have to walk UP most of the trail that you got to ski down. This required too much physical exertion for several in our group so we had to make arrangements for car pick ups.
My rating of the property management is because I had pre-registered my brother to be able to check us in as he had planned to arrive about three hours before me, but he was denied access so we had to make all new arrangements while he waited. Also, we had registered for 10 people, but only nine towels were provided. It took several calls and three days to get enough towels for each person to have one.
I would rent this home again.

The house was very comfortable and in an excellent location. We were able to get to Whistler easily each day

We had a group of 7 adults here and had plenty of space. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and the scenery from the hot tub was great. House was clean and well maintained. Snow coverage was unfortunately low so we had to hike a little further to get on the mountain, but we all agreed it was still reasonable. Would definitely come back again!

Loved the location and Simon's home. Fit everything we needed for a family ski, fun, and games vacation. We had four minor minor issues with three not worthy to bring to the property manager's attention:
1. Fireplace flame upstairs didnt light. Pilot lite was on however we couldnt get that to translate to a flame. Something to look into but not a show stopper for us
2. Back Sliding door leaks significantly and with the cold snap we had to tape the seams to ensure no 2 degree air was getting in...Bought some speed tape and the house heated fine afterwards
3. Hot Tub. Held 104 degrees which was perfect however last two days only stayed at 96 degrees even though the cover was kept on all day prior to evening use...we muddled through!!
4. Reported: Thermostat was on a scheduled timer that would go down to 16.5C (63 F) during the day which with the leaks in the back door couldnt keep the house warm. We got ahold of the property manager and they promptly fixed it.
All and all very happy with the layout, proximity to village and skiing. Everyone loved the place and we are planning to rent the same place next year...thanks for allowing us to stay in your home. We were there to make positive memories and your home did it for us!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were a group of 9 mountain bikers looking for a central location to explore the Whistler area MTB trails and this place did the trick. The garage was key for storing our bikes and gear. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

In general the property was OK and we had a comfy stay. The location is fine, but ski in/out during our stay, due to the icy conditions, was challenging even for the intermediate skiers/boarders. For the less experienced is was too challenging and they ended up walking to/from the slopes. The house is dated and showing it's age. The furnishing are old and carpets are worn. It is advertised as a "luxury" home, but this is a stretch.
The most disappointing part of our stay was the condition of the hot tub. The water was dirty to the extent the bottom of the tub could not be seen. A thick layer of gray froth would build up on the water surface when the jets were turned on. Broken shards of glass were found in the tub and around it, from previous visitors. It was too dirty to enjoy and after the first use we contacted the management and left a voice message. We received no response for two days. Eventually after emailing them they responded indicating they would send someone to look at it. However, their response was disappointing/annoying as they indicated that it may be our fault for not washing before using the tub and that if the water required changing we would be charged. The maintenance person came and took one look at it and immediately agreed the water was too dirty and required changing. He was very pleasant and helpful. However, it did take an extra 48 hrs for the new water to warm up. Once cleaned and warm the tub was pleasant to use. Unfortunately, we only had a couple of evenings left in our stay to enjoy it.
During our stay two drains became blocked. The downstairs toilet and the kitchen sink. By the time maintenance arrived to fix these we had already unblocked them ourselves. The maintenance person (not the tub maintenance person) was somewhat gruff and insinuated it was our fault that the drains blocked, even after admitting he had been called out several times for the same issues previously in the season. Again, this is probably because the property is showing it's age and needs a bit more TLC than it's receiving.

Exactly as advertised. Beautiful place. Only issue was the lock code provided for the front door. We just used the garage instead.

Good location, easy getting around Whistler. Ski out easier than ski in for those not as comfortable with more challenging runs. Was vacuumed with clean bathrooms , but rugs could have been updated/replaced thought out property. Dusting could have been done better throughout.

The space was great and adequately fit our large group. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Ski in/out was fairly accessible with moderate/intermediate ski ability

This was perfect for our two families. We loved the ski in/ski out

The photo makes the property look way better than it is but in reality, the finishes are very dated and worn out. The garage is really gross, not clean. In general, the place was not that clean. I know that the weather probably prevented the help from doing their jobs normally. The weather allowed us to ski only 1 out of the 5 days. Had we skiied all 5 days, we probably wouldn’t have been so grumpy, as the location to the mountain is sweet. But we really didn’t get to take advantage of that. For the amount of money we paid, it should have been a much better experience. I have rented from VRBO and other people in Whistler before and the places were much nicer and better-kept. We spent a lot of money for what we got. Not happy with that.

Great layout and space but hot tub took 2 days to heat up and overall cleanliness was subpar -dirty mirrors, used soaps left in shower, dirty dishes and dust on light fixtures

It was great. A nice quiet and cool house.

The check In process was extremely stressful.
The property was lovely but checking in was extremely stressful having to drive to a totally different location, talk to a receptionist, put down another huge deposit - it all seemed very unnecessary. Other similar properties in Taluswood are easier to book.

Great property! Large living and dining space easily accommodated our large group during cool inclement spring weather. Everything worked well and we enjoyed the fireplace and well stocked games cupboard.

Not the village but nice.
This is my first time in Whistler and this place is great however a car is a must. Moving forward I think I would recommend spending a little more to stay walking distance to the village. We found ourselves shuttling everyone around constantly. If the shuttles were up and running maybe this wouldn’t have been such an annoyance. The house was great plenty of room nice finishes I would stay again depending on the price of something closer to the village.

pictures dont do it justice
beautiful home in a great area. place was clean and there was a laundry machine that was super helpful for the whole stay. Can fit 3 (4 if you squeeze) cars. better looking than pictures. Beds are pretty uncomfortable however, if that is a deal breaker. The mattresses have bumps in them. Other than that, I will definitely be down to come back next season!

Lovely townhouse in Nordic Estates, Creekside-ish
We just came back from a summer get together, 7 older women (50s) at this property. This is a very nice three level townhouse, high up in a mountainside development of Whistler mountain. Lots of beds (unless you don’t like bunk beds). Master suite.is only one upstairs on third level and is beautiful, all others are below in lower level, living and kitchen on main. Deck is nice to have, it is covered so no sun and in trees but has a bit of a view through the trees. If neighbours are on their deck only a wooden divider separates groups. Apparently the nieghbours are sensitive to noise and there is a $500 fine if a neighbour complains so that puts a damper on the overall mood. The bbq also needs the igniter button fixed. Lighting the bbq with lighter was a bit precarious as it isn’t meant to be lit that way. The hot tub is on lower level and was nice to have, fit 6 of us, although couldn’t get the temp above 98, not sure why.
Townhouse was much further away from Creekside village than we thought, and up very steep road, there is a trail to get down (great ski out for winter) but need good shoes in summer and steep 1 mile climb or bike ride back - we are in good shape and two days of riding up the hill was enough, drove after that.
Kitchen is well stocked for cooking except coffee machine is very small and slow for big group. Nice big dining room table for group meals but again, had to be aware of the noise fine.
Pool is a 5 min walk from townhouse, a little steep section to get to it, no stairs. Other neighbours in complex are very friendly and welcoming. Pool and hot tub are really nice and with trees and rocks surrounding. hardly anyone else there, it was like having your own pool, just not too easy to run back and grab something if you need to.
Overall we had a great time, loved Creekside village, liked the accommodation but would choose something a little closer or further down mountain and not with neighbours sensitive to noise.

Great spot
The place was clean, everything worked and the view is great from the back deck. If the mattresses could get a rating they would also be 5 stars. The warnings about noise after 10pm were a bit dire at first but we didn't seem to have any issues.

Beautiful stay, could have been cleaned a bit better
Everything was wonderful, however, the hot tub was gross when we arrived. Someone came and cleaned it, so that's good. Carpets were dirty and didn't look like they were vacuumed, other than that the rest of the house was clean. Nice that they had a pack and play for babies. Would stay again if they confirmed it was cleaned

Cozy Weekend in Whistler
Great unit, well-appointed. The patios, hot tub, and fireplace all make for a relaxing unit to enjoy a winter weekend.
2.0 / 5.0
Let me start by saying the townhouse is really nice! Lots of space and bedrooms are a great set up for a larger family. The check in process is a hassle. This townhouse is in Creekside yet you have to drive into the main Whistler Village to check in to get the code for the door and sign documents. We found this to be extremely inconvenient. Upon arrival to "check in" I received a call from the owner with some disappointing news that the hot tub in our unit had frozen and was broken and unusable for our weekend. This was not any one's fault as the weather was extremely cold but it was a huge disappointment for our stay as this was one of the main reasons we booked this unit. The owner felt horrible about it and he was working on getting it repaired or switching us to another unit but there was no way this could happen during our stay as it was a long weekend and everything was either closed or sold out. The owner did agree on some compensation for us for this which was good. Other than the hot tub being unusable, the only other negatives on this unit would be that the paint and carpets are "tired" and outdated desperately need a redo. Lots of paint chips and stains on carpet. The unit itself was very clean, the bedding and towels are amazing. The kitchen set up is difficult to work in with more than 2 people in it as the fridge, stove and dishwasher are all in the same tight area making it impossible to work with more than 1 person in that area. Fridge hits the stove when open, dishwasher blocks the cupboards and encompasses the working space by oven when open. The staples were not supplied in the ktichen due to COVID rules I suppose but the biggest shock in the morning was to not find a single coffee filter available in the kitchen! I had messaged the owner ahead of time to ask about staples and coffee etc and didn't receive a response which was a shame as anyone who is addicted to coffee knows how important coffee supplies are when you arrive. Assume there is NOTHING stocked and bring all your own supplies. Had we known this we would have come more prepared. No salt and pepper etc. We called the owner to ask about coffee filters and he said everything you can "touch" is removed from kitchen due to covid rules which makes no sense at all as there was papertowel supplied, some left over sugar, oils, etc. If you removed everything you can "touch" from the unit there would be nothing left. Interesting theory.

great accommodation for a family vacation
We had a lovely stay here over the Christmas holidays. Wonderful wood burning fireplace with plenty of wood at the cabin for guest use- super cozy! Plenty of space for a large family. Master bedroom bed upstairs was one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Skii in skii out was a great feature. It was a little bit challenging to find the address of the cabin since address for the turnoff at taluswood was covered in snow and google maps did not take us right to the property. Also would include a show shovel in garage as (luckily) we got lots of snow and digging out our car was difficult. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a spacious, cozy whistler vacation in an excellent vacation.

Nice and convenient
The rental was easy, finding the location to pick up the keys was not. Finding the house in the snow was even harder as all of the addresses were not visible. Once we got in, the kids loved it. The master bedroom bed is heaven. The home is lovely and location is convenient.

The Nordic Estate Townhouse was exactly as described. Lots of room for 2 families to spread out. Hot Tub and Onsite BBQ was great along with the wood fireplace. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a larger space to book in Whistler.
