We were able to enjoy a wonderful stay to reconnect with family, including kayaking, Rosie’s Dog Beach, and even watched a proposal across the way in the beach with Mariachi ❤️

Susan is a wonderful host! She graciously allowed us an earlier check-in and later check-out time because we were only there for one night. Susan greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a full tour of the home and the property. Susan responded to my questions on the VRBO site (and thru text) within minutes. The home is on a busy street, but the house is well-insulated and we didn’t have any problems parking three cars. We enjoyed the many amenities such as the pool/air hockey table, electric darts, jacuzzi, and front porch seating. Our grandkids loved the hidden staircase that leads to the gym equipment. Susan and her husband brought in extra pillows, and gave recommendations for nearby entertainment. AC worked well and there were no problems within the home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here in 2018 and came back because we love the house and the location. The owners are incredibly kind and invested in making their home special. Loved the new pool table/game room, hot tub, and new patio furniture in front. Walk to Belmont Shore. $1.25 8-minute bus ride to downtown on the 121 line. Catch the sunset on the patio and watch the world go by!

Location for half marathon on Ocean Blvd was perfect for our family group of 6 adults & a 2 year old, who loved going to the beach across the road every day! House was great with nice bedrooms & bathrooms for everyone, great kitchen & fantastic view out the front windows! Front porch was nice during the evening, and fenced in, very green back yard was great with our son’s dog & the 2 year old. Toys and lots of beach towels were greatly appreciated as the temps were in the 80’s for our 5 day stay! Susan was great letting us in early upon arrival & giving us a tour of the house! We enjoyed going out to eat most evenings & had fun going to the Aquarium! The home is older than we expected with some door & window issues, but overall a great place for our stay watching our two sons run the half marathon together! Just a reminder, the rental is the entire lower or main level of the home & there were 2 upper level units for longer term rentals which were heard above us but was not a big issue. Thanks for sharing your space Susan…we all had a great time!

We had a large group of 9 leaving on a cruise. We needed to board early and decided we didn’t want to leave Arizona at 3 or 4 in the morning the day of our departure. This beautiful property was a perfect base camp allowing our group to arrive the day before our cruise. The process was smooth and we highly recommend the property for a short or preferably longer stay.

Overall very impressed with the house & amenities! It was stocked with just about everything needed to cook & entertain. We did have to purchase more toilet paper & paper towels. We also ran out of trash bags. The beds & couches(inside &front patio) were not the most comfortable. That being said I would still recommend staying as well as renting again!!

A beautiful home that was perfect for our family. Unfortunately we were in town for a memorial service, however the hosts were very gracious and accommodating. Even dropping off flowers and a card offering their condolences.
The ease of the stay was one less thing we needed to worry about.

Beautiful house with enough room for 5 adults and 3 kids. Great location to the boardwalk! The backyard is a beautiful hang out spot with perfect weather. The kitchen is well stocked. A few issues with not enough toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels but was quickly supplied when we notified Susan. The kitchen is supplied with almost everything you could think of. My only recommendation is to get another medium/large frying pan. We could only find one small stainless steel frying pan and it made making scrambled eggs in the morning for our party of 8 next to impossible. We will definitely be back! Long Beach was a last minute decision for our group of 6 adults to stay at. We had a cancellation elsewhere and needed to find a place quickly. Communication with Susan was exceptional. She always answered my messages within a good timeframe. The house was big and comfortable. We had six adults, and it suited us perfectly. The large kitchen was well stocked, as well as many toiletry items, paper products and pantry items. We didn’t need to buy anything. Location was excellent. A short walk across the street brought you to a beautiful grassy park that was right on the ocean. We had rented a car and drove into LA to take a sightseeing tour which was wonderful and very informative. Two things we struggled with were getting a Suburban into the tight parking space and the shower in the back bedroom with the Jacuzzi was not working well. The water came out very slowly and it was very difficult to take a shower. I also felt like the home was overly decorated with table/shelf decorations and objects of all sorts. While pretty, they left little room for the things we brought in. I had to put items on the floor and move others around.
In the end, I still rate 5 stars! We only had 2 nights, but wished we had more!

This place is amazing! Nice back yard, comfy front porch with great ocean views, and the inside is very nice as well. Well stocked kitchen for cooking meals at home, and just a short walk to many places to dine out. A great place all around!

This was our second time renting & it was perfect! Beautiful view & great location. Susan is a fabulous host & quick to reply to any of our needs. If you’re looking to gather with friends/family, this is the place to do it!

I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding, and we LOVED it. It was clean, spacious, and the location and view are absolutely beautiful. Susan was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Will definitely be returning in the future!

We went for our anniversary apostolic assembly national convention. When we got there the place was nice and clean you can say ready to move in. Every thing was perfect and was just as described. We did find a few things wrong but nothing to big like the hallway show knob was backwards, so hot was cold and cold was hot, and the toilet water just kept running if you didn’t push the knob up to fully close it. Other than that it was perfect, my family was comfortable and we were nice and warm durning the nights. I would recommend and stay again.

We rented this property to host my husband and I’s wedding parties for a combo bachelorette and bachelor party. We made it clear we wouldn’t be doing much other than hanging out with our people and using the house as a base to get ready at before going out. Just before we arrived we were informed that there was a new ordinance in effect that meant we had to be extremely quiet. Obviously with a large group that can be kind of difficult to manage, but we did our best to be respectful and we did appreciate how communicative the host was to make sure we understood the situation. The only other notes I would make is that the house can be a little muggy due to its location next to the beach and lack of A/C, but there was plenty of fans to use. Parking is a little difficult to find at times out front. Otherwise, we had a good stay and I would recommend staying here if you are looking for good beach/food access and aren’t planning on doing karaoke or anything kind of loud, haha!

Susan's home is one of the best I've ever rented and I've rented quite a few. It is a beautiful home in a great location with an ocean view and plenty of room for larger groups. It is the best equipped home I've ever rented. It became a bit of a joke with our group to say, I bet Susan doesn't have one of these (one example was a marker) and sure enough, we'd find what we were talking about. Susan is an amazing host who really cares if her guests are having a good time and are comfortable. This is the second time I've rented the home and it will for sure not be the last time! Love this home!

We rented this place for our wedding weekend to stay with our bridal party, instead of all getting separate hotel rooms and I am so happy we did! This place was perfect to all be together for the weekend. Large open kitchen and living room made it perfect for gathering for meals together. Rooms were comfortable and clean. House is stocked with anything you could really need. They even had a pack and play for our little one! We only had one issue with one of the showers not running hot water but Susan and her husband were quick to come by (literally in like 5mins!) to quickly fix the problem. They are honestly the sweetest couple and incredibly responsive to anything you need. Plus you really can’t beat that view! Wish we could do the weekend all over again it was just perfect!

We rented it as a place for our family to gather for a memorial for our parents. We spent our summers in Long Beach. My family, later, moved there. This property is close to ocean, bay, restaurants and shopping. We hope to return again.

We had a family get together. Property is in a great location. Near beach, restaurants, market. I thought we would struggle with parking but plenty of parking right in front of the property and next to it. Wish the property had air conditioning But owner provide several floor fans to try and keep it cool. Susan was very responsive to all my requests. Was a good experience overall and family gathering went very well

Susan was so sweet and helpful! the house was gorgeous and perfectly located across from the beach (though we did walk about half a mile to get to some less murky ocean water). The house has a few flaws (low lighting, broken shower head, weak ventilation), but it was overall a perfect stay. Great for large groups!

What a gem we found in this property!! We’ve already asked if we can come back next summer for a longer stay! The home is beautiful, the kitchen well stocked and there are plenty of linens- even beach towels!! Just across the street and down the stairs you’ll find a lovely, clean and very uncrowded beach with bike and walking trails. Wonderful restaurants are within walking distance. We spent a lot of time on the front porch just enjoying the sight of the ocean and loving the sea breeze. Our very favorite part was Susan and her husband Brian! They were very quick to respond to every question and their attention to detail was commendable. Love love LOVE this place!!

Nice views and walk to store, restaurant, and pier.
The property was great with lots of cooking tools. Neighbors were all kind and welcoming when we were out on the veranda, enjoying the views. The beach is accessible right behind the park. It does require going up and down a large staircase. The pier, store, Starbucks and dining are all very close. The owner was very helpful with our parking concerns and was available to help us figure out a lack of hot water issue.
The floors are not very sound resistant and quiet hours were not adhered to. The upstairs guests had lots of people, moving around furniture. Other smaller group seemed to be wearing high heels at all hours of the night. Bring earplugs and you will have a better nights sleep.

Great Location Near Park/Beach & Good for Families
Loved the location! Host was very helpful and responsive - got us air mattress & linens within 1/2 hour and took my call to help troubleshoot tripped electrical in one bedroom. Lovely backyard for dining and sunbathing. Easy walk to beach and park across the street. With the park right across street, the views are wide open to the ocean and ships. Was good for a family meetup in a warm locale with big kitchen island and plenty of dining space for eating and board game playing. Loved the extra fridge! Only downside is the noisy road on Friday and Saturday nights in the front bedroom, but the upside is you get the oceanview from this room. A few kitchen items could be updated (mixer and pots/pans) but loved all the unique bowls and serving trays & utensils. Extremely helpful when cooking for family!

Pre Cruise one night stay.
We stayed one night with a group of 8 for one night prior to boarding a cruise ship. This home was just a short drive from the cruise port. The house met our needs and the view/weather was perfect for getting us primed for our cruise. Nice short walk to a grocery store and brew pub by the pier.

Lovely and Comfortable Villa
The house/condo is beautiful and located in a nice neighborhood just across the street from a lush green park and the beach. It's very close to the aquarium, boating activities, and waterfront restaurants.
The beds, including the futons in the living room, are comfortable, and the multiple bathrooms are convenient for privacy. The kitchen is the center of the house and well equipped for cooking pretty much anything.
My family and I stayed for a week and felt completely at home. We were able to bond and enjoy the California lifestyle for a little while. I, personally, can't wait for an opportunity to go back!
