The location was perfect. We were shocked to find that the main living area and kitchen (all one big room) were not air conditioned. The bedrooms - all separate from the living area and also each other - were thankfully air-conditioned. The property is also long overdue for an update. Missing light fixtures and lightbulbs, very old and damaged furniture (2 sofas practically sunk to the ground), and rusty beach chairs just to name a couple. The bathrooms were all also un-airconditioned. The towels were nice and the kitchen was well-appointed. We really enjoyed the pool. The lack of airconditioning in this west-facing home really overwhelmed the stay. It was approaching 90 degrees well into the night, causing us to cut our time together in the evenings. While your listing does say “A/C Bedrooms”, it should be made CRYSTAL clear that the main gathering area is not. We were just thankful that we didn’t have elderly parents or little babies traveling with us. A few updates, and add A/C in the living area and we’ll gladly be back!

Our stay at the Villa Colorado can be summed up with one word…perfection! From the moment we were greeted on island to the check out process, everything went like clockwork. The house, the pool, and the view is spectacular! Don’t hesitate. Buy the tickets. Rent the house. Have the best time ever!

We spent 1 week at Villa Colorado in June of 2022. The property managers were very helpful with check and and quick to respond with any questions we had. They checked in periodically via text to make sure even was going well which we appreciated. The house was clean and stocked with the necessities we needed. The pool was big enough to accommodate six children swimming after long beach days which was fantastic. The location of the villa is great, easy trips to Cruz bay and grocery store made it easy. We loved our stay at Villa Colorado.

We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Colorado. The location is perfect and the set up with 4 masters with plenty of privacy worked great for our family gathering of 4 couples and 2 kids for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The check in process was easy and Kevin showed us around the house and the staff checked in several times during our stay. The pool and outdoor space were great after days on beach or boat. So easy to get to town, beaches and to markets. We also took daily walks around the point with some great views. We will be back and hopefully much sooner than 10 years since we got married on Hawksnest beach!

A wonderful Christmas in St. John!
We had a wonderful week at this beautiful home! We have 5 adult children, ages 18-25, and the house was perfect. Plenty of space for all of us. The pool and property were beautiful, private and peaceful. Loved our walks around the neighborhood. Amazing sunrises and sunsets! It had everything we needed. Ideal Home for Multi Generation Family or Fruends
This home has lots of space for gathering and quiet times. The four identical bedrooms were perfect for all. The view of Great Cruz Bay was beautiful. The property manager was responsive to our needs. The home was very convenient to Cruz Bay and shopping, and the pristine beaches were a short drive beyond. Did not disappoint!

A group of 7 of us stayed at Villa Colorado and we truly enjoyed our stay there. The beds were comfortable, the bedrooms were the only place air conditioned, the kitchen had everything we needed. The pool was exactly what we needed after a day at the beaches on St John. 2 Grocery stores were close by to the villa So that was nice too. All in all I would recommend this Villa for families or groups wanting their own equal size bedrooms and bathrooms.

Villa Colorado was perfect for our group! We loved the bedrooms with private bathrooms, plenty of space for quiet time when needed. The pool is one of the best we’ve seen! The kitchen was well equipped and the living/dining area was great! We will definitely plan a return trip to Villa Colorado.

3rd time at Villa Colorado
Can go wrong with the location to Cruz Bay. The 4 King bedrooms with their own on suite is so convenient. The drive to the villa is so convenient and not like a lot of other villas with steep drives. You can’t go wrong with this villa!

Great location, view and pool. Close to town and no steep roads. Very spacious. Teens enjoyed having their own space with outside access. Grounds were very private and pool was large. Had a minor mechanical issue which was fixed quickly. Can’t wait to come back!

Very accommodating with extremely short notice
We booked this property at the last second when our scheduled trip to Honduras was cancelled due to a hurricane. Jared was quick to respond! The house was great for our family and we enjoyed it a lot. The bedrooms were large, clean, air-conditioned and private from the rest of the house. The kitchen was adequate, though no staples were stocked, maybe because of Covid. The pool area is beautiful!

The property was located in an ideal location in order to get to local beaches, shops and Cruz bay. The view was amazing and the property was very private and well maintained. The management company was outstanding and responded to anything we needed immediately. I would absolutely recommend this property.

Incredible house with incredible view!
We had an amazing visit from the time we arrived until the time we left! We were met as soon as we exited the ferry and escorted to the house. I was SO thankful that we booked this property, especially after seeing some of the other locations (hills, gravel roads, etc)! The roads to the property are all paved and easy to navigate once you have your bearings.
The house has everything you could possibly need! The bedrooms were amazing - nice and cool, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels (both bathroom and beach towels were available). Beach chairs and coolers were provided, which was a huge plus. There were also games in the living area, which my kiddos loved. The pool is incredible and you cannot beat the view!!!
We reached out with questions several times and the response time was just a few minutes! They definitely made sure we were well taken care of! I would HIGHLY recommend Villa Colorado!

Great property that only needs screens to make it a full 5 star!
The property was fantastic, however the open air concept of the main living area means that mosquitos get to enter the property through the open archways.
The addition of screens in the archways would prevent the mosquitos. That would be a fantastic enhancement. We spoke to Jared, he's on board. Add Screens, this place gets a 6 star rating!

Excellent choice for couples
Villa Colorado was the perfect property for four couples to share the St. John experience. With four equal sized bedrooms, the only decision was upstairs or downstairs. The powder room in the common area was a real plus.
The kitchen of Villa Colorado is, by far, the best equipped I've encountered in any rental property.
The pool is great and having a table located there was wonderful for poolside games and eating.

This was an absolutely perfect place to stay for our family. We had several generations there, and everyone from the grandparents to the kids loved it. There was plenty of gathering space yet ample room to get away for quiet time as well. Not everyone wanted to do all the planned activities every day, and this property is a great place to just spend the day if one doesn’t want to go out. Location is perfect. Very easily accessible yet it seems private. The property is well equipped with everything you need. At no time did we feel we needed something that wasn’t there. Communication with the property manager was very good. Having never rented a VRBO before, I had plenty of questions which were always answered quickly. The process was so smooth that I will definitely do it again. I am already looking forward to returning. Would love to stay at Villa Colorado again if we go back with a group again. Absolutely lived it.

Proximity to Cruz Bay and 4 equal master suites was just the beginning!
We were extremely happy with the location of Villa Colorado, as well as with the accommodations. The villa is lovely...very comfortable and with spectacular views. Bedrooms are air-conditioned and the main part of the Villa has beautiful breezes. The pool was a good size. There were coolers and beach chairs; however, no pool toys or floats. The kitchen is not large, but adequate for occasional vacation cooking. A call to have the refrigerator looked at, as well as a request for pool service, were both addressed right away. All in all, it was a great place for four couples to stay and enjoy the beauty of St. John.

St John Villa Colorado
Villa Colorado is now at the top of our list of places to stay on St. John. This is out 14th trip to the big rock and Villa Colorado didnt let us down a bit. The pictures shown on the website dont do it justice. The pool was amazing on those hot days after the beach. The location was very close to multiple grocery stores and gas stations. The owner and gentleman that showed us to your house were amazing and easy to work with. We will be back to Villa Colorado soon!

Perfect Villa for the family
I have leased many properties on STJ for my trips there and, by far, Villa Colorado has become a favorite! Will definitely lease again if it’s is available for my next trip. Easy to get to, great setting, and the sunset views are incredible.
This trip was a special family trip that included three generations of my family. Everyone loved their spacious rooms. The pool, grill, and hammock were definitely used by everyone at one time or another during our stay. Ease of access to town was a plus too. I highly recommend this property.

Loved it!
Very nice place! Comfortable and well stocked with whatever we needed. We had a minor issue and it was taken care of pronto!! Plenty of hot water and good water pressure for showers was a plus and something we don’t usually experience on the island. Loved the pool in the afternoon after hours at the beach. We’ll be back!

Excellent accommodations and location!
The home was extremely clean! They met us at the dock and led us to the house. Worked with us on flight delays. Home is beautiful and well equipped. Plenty of towels and bath products! I loved the separate bedrooms and baths. Each person could sleep and rest in private without external noise from the main room. Privacy was nice to have! I will absolutely book again!
