Lovely lodge, clean and tidy and loved having the horses to feed in the field beside us. Plenty of space around the lodge for the kids to play in.

We liked everything! Hosts were very welcoming and house had all the facilities we expected. Great location,kids enjoyed horse riding and fishing,had a lovely dinner at a local restaurant,all was great,couldn’t recommend enough!

Location is a bit off the beaten track and a little difficult to find even with Sat Nav or GPS. But Rowan Lodge is exceptional full of all necessary facilities and more. Would recommend to all. The Lodge is spotless clean and there are lots of extras that are above and beyond expectations. I cannot say enough to grace this establishment only that it is superb.

The place was beautiful with lovely extra touches for when we arrived. Stayed with a group of 7 ladies and plenty of room. The facilities had everything even down to milk and tea bags for us. Location was lovely with a bar restaurant very close by, Food was lovely and local staff in restaurant were friendly also. We all agreed to return again with our families.

Beautiful location for a quiet getaway. Lovely surroundings..

Would definitely recommend this lodge. Very clean and lovely welcome basket to greet us. Food in the restaurant (saloon) really tasty.

The hosts provided everything we needed for our stay, including fresh Duck eggs. The cabin was cozy and comfy and had amazing views of the lake from most windows. We brought our dog, who loved the place and the freedom to roam around. We also tried out Horse Riding on site, I really recommend trying this when staying here. We had never done it before and Marlene and Ron were amazing tutors. Also, a good spot for fishing I believe with no license required.

Only thing we noticed recycling wasn't an option in the area (just general waste bins)
