Cosy cottage located on the Isle of Purbeck
Tanners Cottage wurde 2014 auf dem Land hinter dem alten Dorfladen und neben der ehemaligen Gerberei erbaut. Das Ferienhaus ist ein freistehendes Anwesen mit einem geschlossenen privaten Garten.
Beim Betreten der Unterkunft befindet sich ein gemütlicher Flur, der in eine moderne, voll ausgestattete Küche führt. Die Küche verfügt auch über einen Essbereich mit Blick auf den Garten. Öffnen Sie die Französisch Türen auf die Terrasse und finden Sie einen Sitzbereich im Freien zum Entspannen und Genießen der Natur.
Neben der Garderobe im Erdgeschoss befindet sich gleich neben der Küche ein Wirtschaftsraum mit einem Gefrierschrank und einer Waschmaschine.
Die Lounge grenzt an die Küche an und hat ebenfalls französische Türen, die in den Garten führen. Die Lounge ist mit einem Kamin für kühlere Abende ausgestattet. Ein Smart-TV mit Netflix und Catchup-TV ist ebenfalls vorhanden.
Im Obergeschoss befinden sich 2 Schlafzimmer, das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein luxuriöses Kingsize-Bett und das 2. Schlafzimmer verfügt über zwei kleine Einzelbetten, die auf Anfrage in ein Kingsize-Bett umgewandelt werden können.
Das Hotel liegt auf der Isle of Purbeck (nicht wirklich eine Insel, sondern eine Halbinsel an der Küste von Dorset) und ist nur eine kurze Fahrt von vielen Stränden entfernt. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um sich zu entspannen und das allgemein wärmere Wetter der Südküste zu genießen. Parkplatz für ein Auto neben dem Haus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet, warm cottage. It is in a great location. We walked into Wareham, where we had a good meal at The Old Granary. We had a meal at The Kings Arms, a few minutes walk from the cottage, which was superb. We spent two days at RSPB Arne, which is only a short drive away.

We stayed for a week as a couple and were very pleased with the overall layout of the cottage, it’s location in the village with the pub/restaurant 200 metres away and Wareham itself just a 10 minute walk. Set in a quiet corner, it was a great base to explore the many attractions in the area.
It was clean, comfortable and well stocked with essentials (and some goodies). In fact, the description in the listing is all but 100% accurate. A nice change!
One we definitely recommend and will stay at again.

Just a few words of thanks for our stay at Tanners Cottage , it was an absolute delight,we couldn't have asked for more , beautifully clean, so comfortable and provided all we needed for our weekend away together .. Great location, the short walk to pub which was friendly, walked into Wareham with lots of little shops,quayside, markets and plant of places to eat and drink fabulous.
Can't wait until we book another stay at Tanners Cottage!

We loved our stay inTanners Cottage. It was super clean, and beautifully furnished and comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics and more, plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots/pans, spices, foil, cling film, tea, etc, etc. We were welcomed with delicious locally made sourdough bread and butter, jam, biscuits, milk, and more! A week of rainy weather curtailed our walks, but the comfy cottage, unique Wareham shops and local made the holiday special. The Kings Arms in Stoborough is 5 minutes walk away and has great gin and beer. And The Salt Pig in Wareham has an amazing deli selection to bring home, as well as fresh local fish and cheese. The garden and patio could do with attention, as they both have weeds and the patio could use a power wash. But that is a small thing, if I'm being picky.

Immaculately clean as always and well laid out. Location is ideal for exploring the local areas of Swanage and Weymouth. Bonus of having your own parking space and the little food extras the owners leave is a lovely touch. Having relatives living close by made it even better. Ideal for a family and highly recommend this property.

Enjoyed a fantastic 2 weeks at Tanners Cottage. Everything about the property was as described. The location was perfect for a short walk into Wareham which has lots of excellent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes.
The weather just enhanced the holiday, with plenty to still do had it not been as good.
Would highly recommend and would love to return next year.

Beautiful cottage
Tanners cottage is a wonderful place to stay. The patio is really private and it's a lovely place to soak up the sun & relax. All our needs were catered for we couldn't ask for anything better.

Location
Very welcoming property , lovely roses to welcome us plus milk ,bread ,butter jam& two bottles of cider. We had issues with the plug in the bathroom ,prompted response very friendly .The location was perfect we didn’t have to travel more than eleven miles to visit attractions ,beaches coastal path & RSPB reserve.We would definitely recommend this cottage .

Lovely place to stay
The property is lovely with 2 good sized bedrooms, a well organised kitchen, comfortable living room and very nice garden area.
The property is well positioned to be able to get to the town centre as well as to the beach which is around 20 minutes away by car.
Only negative is that the twin beds in the second bedroom were quite soft and not comfortable for me as I have a dodgy back. The double bed in the other bedroom was much more comfortable.
Overall, as the title suggests, it is a lovely place to stay.

Fantastic venue and surroundings
We booked tgis property for a long weekend break. It was just as you see it on the website. Lovely welcome gifts and very tastefully decorated and cosy. Ideally placed for lots of sightseeing, walks and interesting places and things for all ages. Would wholeheartedly recommend, and sure we will be back.

Beautiful, modern, cosy cottage
We love this cottage! This our second visit and standards remain high. Well laid out, everything you need and warm evenings by the log fire. Perfect location for exploring studland, Durdle door etc We will be back!
