The room was nice and it was close to the metro for ease of travel throughout LA. The host was very nice.

it was a bit loud. the thin walls meant I could hear most conversations next door. very few people followed the recommended and posted 10 minute bathroom time. There was a visitor for the host my last day that was quite rude to me.

The rooms are clean and bed was very comfortable. They even have accessible drinking water in the kitchen and free ramen. Parking inside the property was also very helpful. Very affordable for a safe and central location. I will absolutely come back! Thank you very much!

Staff and owner of property was good but my room mate disturbed me a lot i couldn't sleep after 28 hours journey. She made lot of noises and woke me up 5 times in the middle of night that i left the property early morning 4am as she didn't let me sleep making noises periodically wirh gap of 30 to 40 minutes

I booked one bed in shared room for 3 nights. You can experience cultural care in here, for sure. You not allowed to wear shoes inside. You need to put sleepers on before coming inside. On the website there is a information that you have provided essentials like towels and it's true. I got one, tiny towels.... There is a tiny space to park, but not perfect for bigger cars. If you paying with card prepare to pay %%% only for the fact that you paying with the card 🤷‍♀️ Location is good. Bus stop close to hotel, you can take bus 33 directly to Santa Monica for $1.75

The location, it’s very easy to get to the buses. The rooms were clean, and the bed was somewhat comfortable

The hosts were horrible! They don’t have enough bathrooms and the bathrooms are not very clean. We’re given curfews and we can’t shower at certain times. It was such a horrible experience

The room I saw when I booked wasn’t the same I actually stayed. In fact, there isn’t a single picture of the room I stayed on this site. When I got there, the host told me that it was possible that I would change rooms after (which never happened) and I ended up being in a room totally different of what I actually payed for. The bathroom was always busy, they charged me 3.5% because I was paying with credit card, even though this isn’t mentioned on booking. There were someone else’s luggage in the closet of the room I was staying, so eventually one of the hosts went into the room to get it. In general, it was an ‘okay’ experience, but I don’t think I would stay there again.

Its Central LA, location is relatively OK, there are grossary shops around..

First of all that located in Crenshaw - one of the most notorious streets in LA. Secondly,you feel guilty of beeing in this hostel, cose the host treet you really not welcoming. Lastly, its kind of dirty, I got fungus here, so worms in kitchen. To sum up, not worth the price

No bunk beds which was a pleasant feature for a hostel.

The owners were rude and aggressive which made me feel very uncomfortable and not welcome. They were consistently micromanaging me and interfering in my privacy.while at the property. Constantly coming into the room without knocking and as early a s 9:00am. I was told upon arrival that an extra 3% would be charged on my credit card even though there is no mention of this in the booking and you can only reserve a room on Booking with a credit card. I refused to pay this accordingly so and the woman still overcharged my card without my consent. I was told I was not allowed to hang clothes or my towel on the room divider as it made the room look like a homeless shelter which I found very offensive. She came into my room at 10:00am and yelled at me for this and ripped off my clothes and towel that were hanging on the divider. I was really shaken up after this experience as I informed her I was in a virtual meeting for work yet she kept yelling at me. A horrible way to experience your morning! The only reason I didn't checkout was because I wouldn't get refunded my money. I was not thanked for my business or acknowledged while checking out of the property. There are signs telling you no alcohol, no taking a shower after 11:00pm or before 7:00am and to limit your time to 10 minutes.Also everyone must takes their shoes off at the door and wear the slippers provided or your own. Overall I would not recommend as you are staying in someone's private house which you will not feel welcome and you are watched and monitored constantly including having the owners inappropriately entering your room. There were also some issues with other guests being inappropriate and disrespectful even to the point of being verbally abusive but yet it was not handled very well at all by the owners and I did not feel it was a safe place for women to stay.

The place is quiet. Clean. Comfortable bed. Bus stations around the streets. The room is spacious. The oweners said they will provide cooking area for the guests soon. So that's very good. I will definitely stay again there.

they put us alone in the room as we were three people. they provide you with a lot of stuff in the kitchen.

it smell so bad (we don't know why). the laundry was expensive (10$), they charge you a fee for paying with card.

Because it is the hostess house, obviously u cannot cook because it is not a commercial hostel .
